Happy Monday, y’all! Well, we we are in the final countdown. We’ve got 11 days until Christmas. It’s about to get CRAZY up in here, so in preparation for all the crazy, my little family and I did NOTHING this weekend. I mean, there was 1 soccer game, but nothing else. And all the at home time together was glorious. The weather where I live was gross yesterday (reallllllly cold and realllllly rainy), and to be honest, I was in bed a lot of the day. I mean, I was working on posts for the week and shopping my face off, but I was doing it from bed with Lifetime movies in the background. #MerryChristmastome

And truly, I did some serious online shopping. I was finally able to cross a lot of names off my Christmas list, and it feels SO GOOD to have most of that finally done. What in the world did our parents do before online shopping was a thing? LIKE, THEY WOULD GO TO THE MALL AND FIGHT THE CROWDS? #nothankyou #givemeabedandalaptop

Today’s post is about athleisure again. Because it’s 2020 y’all. And athleisure is our reality. AND GREAT NEWS! As of yesterday, everything I’m featuring in this post will still arrive by Christmas. You know I’ve been on a serious Zella kick lately, and I even got my sister in on the fun last week. I’ve been wearing all of my Zella outfits CONSTANTLY. And when I say constantly, I mean that. In fact, I probably need to throw on a pair of jeans, just to make sure they fit. Which is annoying. #fingerscrossed #buttonsareoverrated

OUTFIT #1

But I must say, I’m living my best life in all my Zella gear. Zella pieces are perfect for at home, but they are just as perfect for running around town, and they are MADE for weekends at the ranch.

Case and point, outfit #1.

You’ve seen my trusty high low sweatshirt in a previous post. In fact, you’ve seen it in black and red cinnamon, and if we’re being honest, I have it in ivory grey heather too. It’s a super relaxed sweatshirt, which is just the way I like them. I did get the red cinnamon one in in a small, but I’ve decided I prefer the fit of the medium because it gives a little extra length and roominess.

As Conner mentioned in her post, the sweatshirt has mixed reviews, but we both love it and can attest to the fact that it launders well.

Okay, let’s talk leggings.

It’s become my personal mission in life to convince as many people as possible to at least give these soft pocket lounge leggings a try. Now, I realize this “purple claret” color might be a bit bold for many of you, BUT THAT’S OKAY! You don’t have to get these. In fact, if you are only going to get 1 pair, I think you should GET THE BLACK. Just know that I think the black are more of a reallllllllly dark grey.

So what is it about these leggings that I love so much?

LET ME COUNT THY WAYS.

First of all, the pockets. The pockets are big enough for a phone, but they don’t add any bulk.

They are high waisted like the Zella high waisted live in leggings we all know and love. But get this, the waistband is a soft ribbed material. They don’t have as much compression as the original leggings, which actually makes them even more comfortable! And I’ll take comfort over compression every day of the week.

In addition to the cute pockets and the awesome ribbed waistband, there are also cute little bands at the bottom. So they have jogger styling, but they fit like leggings. They’re awesome.

Also. THEY ARE SO SOFT. Like reallllllllllly REALLY soft.

And I’m telling you, the fit is adorable.

Get them.

Please.

The hoodie is super soft on both the inside and outside, and although it’s a medium weight, I do think it’s quite warm. And I love the color and design!

It’s even got the thumbhole sleeves, which I always appreciate.

I’m wearing the purple, but it also comes in black and navy.
