About Me

Hi! I’m Sheaffer.

A wife (to my high school sweetheart), mama (to the sweetest 11 year old boy in the whole world), and an accidental fashion blogger!

I grew up in Dallas, went to Lake Highlands High School, and headed to The University of Oklahoma for college where I majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  I was a speech therapist at the elementary level and in the private sector for 12 years, and I loved helping little ones learn to communicate more effectively with their friends and family. For many years I worked almost exclusively with children with autism (and other developmental delays), and I developed a special heart for these children and their families.

I started the blog in 2012 after some encouragement from close friends, and it’s been a wonderful creative outlet for me. It began as a place where I would recreate outfits that I’d seen on Pinterest, but it’s turned into so much more than that.  Simply put, I’m passionate about sharing items that I love with others, and this blog provides the perfect space for me to do so.

When you swing by this space, you’ll get to check out what I wear every day, I’ll highlight the latest trends (that work for my life and yours!), I’ll share items that I love (I call the items I love the most “MUST HAVES”), and you’ll go on virtual shopping trips with me.  And rest assured, I will ALWAYS highlight a great sale. Oh, and when it’s Bachelor season, you’ll also get my Bachelor and Bachelorette recaps!

I hope this blog will be a space for all different types of women to gather and lift each other up.  It is my greatest hope and prayer that this blog isn’t just about clothes and accessories, but that it is an encouragement to women and a resource for those that want to feel great about themselves.

Basically, I’m a wife and mom that just wants to look cute when I walk out the door, and I’m so honored and thankful that many of you ladies have joined me on this journey!
