Lucky for me, Conner brought the boys over one night so I could grab these pics.  I hadn’t seen this little nugget in a couple of months, so I was THRILLED.

I have lived in this shirt for the past week. I’ve worn it with my Zella pants, jeans, and to with my PJs to bed. Yes, it’s that versatile and that comfortable! Casual and cozy – just my style! The reviews are mixed on the shirt, but I honestly have no idea why (even though more than half of the people gave it 5 stars). After reading the reviews, I decided to size up to an XS and I’m glad I did (I’m usually an XXS). I love the relaxed fit. I have washed it a few times now and I wash on cold, dry in the dryer for a few minutes, then lay it flat to dry.

I’m with you, Conner!  I have this sweatshirt in 2 colors and LOVE it.  Some of the reviews state that it pilled after washing, but I haven’t found that to be true and I’ve washed both several times already (since I’m wearing both all the time).

The high waist 7/8 leggings are my new favorite. They are super flattering! I love the high waist and crop fit just above the ankle. I also LOVE the color. I didn’t have any super bright leggings and I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on these. I decided to size up in the leggings because of the color (XS) and I made the right call! I always wash my leggings on cold and dry them for a couple of minutes before laying them flat to dry. If you dry them too much, they start to look old and fade really fast!

Conner, I totally agree.  The 7/8 leggings definitely fit me the best at 5’4″.  And for those that are wondering, Conner is an itty bitty thing at 5’2″.  You could put her in your pocket.

Could these sneakers BE any cuter? No, no they couldn’t. I love the zebra print combined with the bright pink and green – they’re so fun! I’ve never owned a pair of NB shoes and while I love the colors and pattern, I haven’t working out in them because they’re not very flexible, but I don’t care, because they’re ADORABLE. I sized up to a 6 in these shoes, but they seem to run a little wide and I probably would have been comfortable in my normal size (5.5).

Conner was worried that these made her feet look wide, but of course they didn’t.  They are SO MUCH FUN.

In the pics where Conner was by herself, I was holding Bennett while taking the pictures.  The boy is HEAVY, so I tried to put him down for a bit.  Well, he wasn’t a fan.  But he sure is cute when he’s unhappy.

OUTFIT #2

I loved Conner’s 1st outfit, but I love Outfit #2 even more.

When I haven’t been wearing the black sweatshirt, I’ve been wearing this super cute tie dye! My neighbors can attest – they’ve seen me in it multiple times since Thanksgiving. Oh well! I’ll be honest – I’ve never been a huge fan of tie dye, but this shirt changed my mind! It’s really cozy and fits really well! I’m wearing my standard size (XXS), but could have sized up for a more slouchy look. Just depends on which look you’re going for!

The high waist 7/8 leggings…again. Just add them to your cart already! Seriously. Do it now. And get ALL of the colors. I’m well on my way! Did I mention that both pairs of the leggings have cell phone pockets on the side? Well, they do…and now I’ll never buy leggings without pockets! The color of these leggings go so well with the purple in the sweatshirt, but after looking at the website, I think the purple nebula option would look great, too! I went with my standard size (XXS) and they fit perfectly. Be sure to wash these babies on cold and lay flat to dry!

I’m with you Conner, I’m annoyed now when my leggings don’t have pockets.  And just fyi, although Conner lays her leggings flat to dry, I pop mine in the dryer and dry the entire way.

These sneakers are my new favorite! The New Balance above are fun, but if I had to just get 1, it would be these hands down.  The colors are perfect for fall and OMG how cute the is subtle leopard print?!? I love the gold detail – especially the gold pieces on the end of the shoe laces. I typically size up a half size in athletic shoes and did for this pair too. I’ve received SO many compliments on these shoes. You need to get them. You won’t regret it – I promise!

Well, if I didn’t already have these Edge Luxe sneakers in black (with gold accents) and neutral (with gold accents), I would definitely be adding these to cart.

After I was done taking Conner’s pics, I just had to jump in a couple.  I mean, I was wearing Zella too, so it was a no brainer.  And YES, those are the MUST HAVE leggings that I’m wearing.  If you missed the official announcement, I named them a MUST HAVE last week.  And listen, MUST HAVE status is a big deal around here.

And just FYI, Conner just ordered the leggings that I named my newest MUST HAVES last week, and she loves them too.  She said that they don’t have as much compression as her other Zellas, but she loves them in a different way.  I totally agree, and that might be why I love them so much!  They are sooooooooo comfy.

For those that need a quick review, these soft pocket lounge leggings are different than any other Zella pants I’ve ever tried.  They are high waisted like the live in leggings, but the waistband is a soft ribbed material, and there are cute little cuffs at the bottom as well as “regular” pockets.  They fit like a legging, but the style is more of a jogger style, AND I LOVE THEM.  I was getting so much great feedback from y’all as well, so I knew I had to name them a MUST HAVE.

They are even softer than normal leggings and even more comfortable than normal leggings.  FOR REAL. And I’m telling you, the fit is adorable.  This is me wearing them in a previous post.

I want to wear them every single day.  In fact, I think a great idea for a future post would be to do a Style It Again, Sheaffer post where I show you several ways to style them.  (My sweatshirt is the same black one that Conner is wearing in her first outfit, I’m just wearing the “red cinnamon”.)
