TONS OF NORDSTROM FINDS
We’re going to hop right in today because there’s SO MUCH great stuff to talk about!
I’m so pumped about some of today’s finds, and almost the entire post is dedicated to Nordstrom. The post isn’t sponsored, but pretty much everything just happens to be from Nordstrom. What can I say, Nordstrom is killing it right now.
Let’s start out with my new pajamas because they are DARLING. Like maybe the cutest pair of pajamas I’ve ever owned. I like them so much in fact that I kind of want to get the long sleeve version too, but I realize that’s kind of overkill, so I’m going to show restraint.
These are the pajamas that I buy a pair of every other year during the Anniversary Sale, but I didn’t get any this year because mine from last year are still in great shape. Well, I couldn’t resist these colors and this pattern, so here we are. #noregrets
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I have several outfits for y’all with the best black pants ever. I’m showing several ways to style them because I know a lot of you already have them. I have received countless e-mails from readers singing the praises of these pants. LISTEN, I GET IT. Y’all are obviously preaching to the choir, but it thrills me to no end that y’all are as passionate about them as I am. They are comfy, stretchy, stylish, flattering, affordable, and seriously the best ever. For size reference, I wear my regular size 4, but I think that most size down in these.
If you don’t have these pants yet, fix that asap.
If you do already have the pants, then just use these next several pictures as inspiration on how to style them!
This balloon sleeve sweater is adorable, and most colors are on sale. I’m wearing the “wild oak”, but there are several other colors to choose from. The material is very soft and not chunky or thick at all. The v-neck isn’t too deep, and the balloon sleeves add just the right amount of drama. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This gray sweater appears several times in today’s post, and y’all saw it on Wednesday’s post with my grey jeans and that red/plum colored jacket! It’s my idea of a perfect sweater for early fall. It’s super cute on its own, but it’s also made for layering because it’s lightweight. The v-neck is pretty deep (which I like on this top because it adds interest), and I love the longer sleeve length. One reviewer said it was too short on her, but it’s actually quite long on me. It has a cute banded hem, so it can be worn out with ease, but y’all know that I almost always prefer a half tuck in order to create a waistline. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If between sizes, I would size down.
Such a simple and classic outfit when paired with the best black pants ever.
Maybe you remember I planned the above outfit earlier this week with the below collage. And I think I nailed it. #ifidosaysomyself
Y’all saw this puff sleeve tee on Wednesday’s post too. I first styled it casually with my grey wide leg jeans and cognac boots, but look how great it is with the best black pants and my plaid mules!
The body is just a basic soft black tee, BUT THESE SLEEVES. These sleeves, y’all! They are EXTRA in the best way possible.
They’ve got a bit of a puff up at the shoulder, and a ruffle under an elasticized band. And oh my word I love the gingham.
THIS TOP IS DARLING.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. Again, I would size down if between sizes.
One last look with my favorite black pants.
You saw this collared sweater styled in my gray jeans post too, but it’s of course a great look for the office as well. The cream is almost sold out, but there are still several other colors available.
I know the collar trend has been big for a while now, but I had just never found any collared tops I liked, UNTIL NOW. The sleeve length is a bit longer (which I always appreciate), the sleeves have a subtle puff with tiny pleats at the shoulders, there’s a banded hem, and of course it has the exaggerated collar styling. This sweater is very on trend with its preppy vibes, and it’s sooooo soft. I’m sad it looks like this color is well on its way to being sold out, but there are several other colors available. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I would recommend sizing down if between sizes.
Okay, now we’re going to switch gears from black slacks to black faux leather leggings.
I planned this outfit in a collage on Monday’s post…
And it’s just as good as I hoped it would be!
I’m wearing the medium in the top, and a petite medium in the leggings (I’m 5’4″).
I. LOVE. THIS. OUTFIT.
It’s totally comfy for running around town, and you will look super put together. This would also be a PERFECT travel outfit.
I also planned this outfit…
I just ended out subbing out the grey Madewell tee for a tunic length black tee for the extra length. This tunic tee is short sleeve and PERFECT for leggings. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And how fun is this plaid boyfriend shirt. It’s super soft, and a great relaxed fit for a button up. You’ll see it in just a second all buttoned up with jeans, but I’m wearing it open here kind of as a light jacket. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And here it is worn more traditionally with jeans and booties, like a true button up.
And I think it looks awesome with the jacket from Wednesday’s post. The jacket is a gorgeous wine color and it’s got some stretch in it (which I think is always necessary in a great jacket). It’s not bulky at all, but the material does have some weight to it, so it will be awesome all the way into late fall. True to size for me, I’m wearing a medium.
All items you’ve seen before, just mixed and matched together!
I showed this floral peasant blouse with gray jeans on Wednesday’s post, and it looked awesome! I love it here with regular denim as well. I think the floral pattern is so pretty, and I’m loving the dark and moody colors. It definitely has a boho vibe, and I think the fit is so fun. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I’m going to order the small to try it as well. The sizing is generous, and I know the fit is supposed to be swingy and relaxed, so I’m not sure yet what size I’m going to prefer.
This is the first time I’m sharing this faux suede jacket. And it’s so good. It’s a beautiful caramel color, it has bronze buttons, and tiny little pleats with super subtle puff sleeves. And probably most importantly, it has quite a bit of stretch in it! I didn’t realize it until I went to grab the link last night, but I styled it just like they did on the site.
It is on the fitted side, and it’s also on the short side, so it probably won’t work on you if you have a long torso. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Here’s the puff sleeve tee shown 1 more time! So now you’ve seen it with light gray jeans, with the best black pants ever, with regular (medium wash) denim, and now with black jeans. I’m telling you, this is a great top. It’s obviously super versatile.
And now you’ve seen this jacket with grey denim, with regular denim, and now with black denim. It too is super versatile.
And looky here…..
Now you’ve seen this peasant blouse with gray denim, regular denim, and now black denim.
Say it with me now, y’all….. IT’S VERSATILE.
And maybe one of my favorite outfits of the day, these Vuori performance joggers are GIVING ME LIFE. These are the “doogwood heather”, and I’m wearing a small. You will not find a softer pair of joggers. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Also yes. I’ve paired them with a Vuori crewneck sweatshirt and I can’t even explain the comfort level. I mean, it’s next level. And how cute it is it all styled with a favorite denim jacket? For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the sweatshirt and a small in the joggers.
And here’s the grey sweater again.
And the jeans again.
But together this time.
I first showed you this tie front top a couple of months ago I think, but I’m finding it’s perfect for transitioning to fall. It’s relaxed, it’s flowy, and it’s a pretty fall floral. I’m wearing a medium.
And the last outfit today!
Let’s have a moment for this plaid shacket. I’m still not sure if I’m a shacket girl or not, but this one might sway me. I love the colors. It’s lined, so it’s not itchy at all. It’s obviously oversized, it’s warm (but not crazy hot), and it has pockets! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
