Today is Part II of my Designer Denim post with Nordstrom.

So in Part I I showed you my new pair of AG skinny ankle jeans.
For Part II, it was my plan to take you on a shopping trip with me where I would try on several different brands and styles to give y’all a comprehensive review of what’s out there.
HOWEVER.
You know what they say about the best laid plans.
I headed to the store, tried on several pair (but there weren’t many available in my size in store)….so I didn’t really find any that I loved on me.
I decided I would go home and order several, but that didn’t happen either.
So, here’s the new plan for Part II.
I’m just going to make an even stronger case for the jeans I already have AND LOVE.
AG should call me and put me on their marketing team.
Like I should go on a 23 city speaking tour spreading my love.
Or something like that.

There are varying washes and levels of distressing to choose from, so everybody should be able to find a pair they love.
Are they expensive? Yes.

I mentioned this in the first post, but these babies fit like a glove.
And I’m telling you, they make me feel like a million bucks.
And I’m telling you, they make me feel like a million bucks.
My favorite part about them is that even though they are VERY fitted throughout, they are still comfy! It’s astounding really. The ankle length and the super fitted calf makes them great for converse, flats, and booties. But they are also perfect for tall boots because they tuck in beautifully (without any bagging at the knees).
In this first outfit I’m super casual; wearing them with a sweatshirt and my converse.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the sweatshirt. If you prefer a longer sweatshirt, check THIS one out. And THIS is a cute striped hoodie.
And remember, a reader recommended THESE socks saying they are perfect for converse and booties! Mine are on their way to me. I hope to have them in time to put my review of them on Friday’s post.
This purpose of this next picture is to show you how the jeans look great with

Last year these UGGs sold out in grey, but they are back! I suspect they will sell out of the popular sizes pretty quickly again. I wear them out of the house all the time with both jeans and leggings. AND I wear them in the house as house shoes when it’s super cold outside.

I know many of you already have this tunic!
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the tunic because I wanted it to be long and loose enough to wear with leggings (which is totally possible if you are 5’4″ or under).

THIS TUNIC is definitely going to be a favorite all fall long!
It is thin, so know that you will have to wear a long cami with it for sure. It also goes up on the sides a little, which is another reason I will be wearing a long cami or tank with it (I’ve linked a great one that’s long).

Here’s another look at the jeans with tall boots.
I wanted to try this top because so many of the blouses you can find in the stores right now are all VERY long.
This is a great option for a blouse that isn’t as long as most that are available right now.
The patterned band on the bottom makes this blouse look great without being tucked in…so those of you that prefer to leave your shirts out (and not even do a 1/2 tuck), this blouse is for you!

It was a tiny bit tight across the chest, but the medium would most probably be too loose on me.

Not sure if anyone has posted this already but the Miz Mooz West boots (which I own and love thanks to you) are still available on Amazon. I buy almost EVERYTHING on Amazon and a good bit of their shoes have free ship and free returns if you have Prime, which is as good as Nordstrom! Could you show some jeans that are longer in length? While they look the appropriate length on your 5 4 frame, anyone 5 5 and taller would look ridiculous. I am 5 11 so a lot of your recommendations are not feasible. I love all of your shirt recommendations, I just wish that you could show something for longer legged people.

Just FYI ~ those Paige jeans Sheaffer's sister is wearing are 34.5 inches in length. That's pretty long even for us tall girls. Plus, they look great!

I love my AG jeans that I bought during last year's anniversary sale but since I'm currently pregnant, they are not fitting so well these days. As a public service announcement for any other pregnant ladies out there, the AG maternity jeans are just as wonderful as the regular jeans. They are so soft it almost feels like you're wearing leggings. I do not see any AG maternity jeans on the Nordstrom website but I got mine at A Pea In the Pod.

I bought my first pair of AGs over ten years ago. The Angel. And I still wear them. I also have the legging and Stilt. I'm currently stalking the Ballad slim bootcut. But I primarily wear gym clothes so I don't really need them.
For tall girls, The AG Angel does have a very generous inseam (maybe 35"). I need the length but even they are about 1/2" too long with flats.

aren't AG jeans made in the USA? that may make the price worth it to some people and an important thing for people to know that they weren't made in a third world country by a child like so much other apparel.
