First up, these jeans!
They are called the Evyn, they are ONLY $48, and I totally dig them.

When I took them out of the box, I looked at them and thought they were going to be wayyyyyyy too small, but they weren’t! I didn’t love them cuffed like they are shown on the site (I thought they hit me on a weird spot on my calf), so I just wore them straight.
I’m almost 5’4″ (just a smidge shy).
I think they are going to be FANTASTIC for us girls on the shorter side, but I would NOT recommend them if you are over 5′ 3 1/2″. They didn’t seem to stretch out during the day, even though they are super stretchy and comfy. (Often super stretchy jeans are totally sagging by the end of the day). However, I did feel like that as I walked the length of the jeans got shorter…which is why I recommend them for those under 5’3 1/2″.

And if you are 5’3 1/2″ or under, I think it could even work with leggings!
It’s a bit too short in the front for me to wear with leggings (again, I’m almost 5’4″), but the back is definitely long enough for me.

And here’s the top with the slim grey cord jeans from Joe Fresh c/o Joe Fresh (more on these in a minute)! For size reference, I’m wearing a size 4, so they are true to size!
The jacket that I’m wearing in these next pics is called “The Hannah”, it’s also from Gray Monroe, and I think it’s awesome! I also think it’s an AMAZING deal at $65!

The pics of the shirt online do a great job of showing the length from all angles. And you can see online that it also looks great with jeans!
The shirt is quite long…too long to do a 1/2 tuck successfully, but if you want a long tunic-type shirt, this is a great option! To be honest, I didn’t love this one (I felt like it would wrinkle easily), but I still felt like it was worth mentioning.
Okay, now back to the slim greys cords !
They are flattering, very comfy, true to size (I’m wearing a 4), and come in lots of different colors.
AND THEY ARE ON SALE FOR $19!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going to get them hemmed (I want them ankle length so I can wear them with booties and flats without cuffing them) and so they can tuck into tall boots more easily.

I’m wearing a small, but thought is was a bit tight across the chest. It’s sheer enough that you definitely need a cami. If the shirt was a little bigger (or my boobs were a little smaller), I would have loved this shirt! 😉
And see how the cords are a little long on me? I’m definitely going to get them hemmed.

Hi there! My twins sis and I have been following you for a couple years now! We are busy moms and teachers and just love all of your suggestions as we now have started just shopping with ‘shaffer’s advice’ instead of talking shopping by ourselves. I have never commented or messaged you but I found a ‘must have’ that I have been telling all of my friends about! While at Nordstrom’s in Vegas I bought some converse and a pair of Toms. The shoe salesman recommended the Nike ‘no show’ socks. They are unbelievable! I have tried many no show socks only to end up never wearing again because they end up slipping and driving me crazy! I have worn these solid for the last week with my converse, sperrys, and toms. I have walked all over Vegas in them and then I am a teacher and wore them walking around school! My sister and friends at work are all getting a pair this weekend. There is a little silicon pad on the heel that makes these stay put! Anyway, thought you’d like to know….I think they’d be great on your next Friday Favorites post or to keep in mind for stocking stuffers!

If you follow me on facebook (and you totally should!), then you saw me post THESE (purple ray cosmic) Zella leggings on Monday.
My favorite pair of Zella Live In Leggings EVER were very similar to these.
Something about the little tiny wavy lines makes these pants SUPER flattering.
These run true to size and will stay put during a work out.

I highlighted this blouse last week, and I received lots of comments and e-mails about it!
One reader even said it was her “favorite thing she’s ever ordered off the blog” (and that she’s “ordered more than she cares to admit!“).
She got it in store last week and said she “wore it to work on Friday with a black pencil skirt and heels and wore it out Friday night with my hubby with skinny jeans and booties!“
She also said “it didn’t wrinkle at all” and that it looked “just as great that night after wearing it all day”.

Very cute! Hey, when you take pictures, I noticed that your eyes are looking away. TIP: If you are taking a mirror picture look in the mirror not at yourself or at your camera screen but at the small camera circle or optic- make sense? If you are taking a reverse shot, just look at the camera circle, but DONT look at your own eyes or the camera screen- I promise it will make your pictures look better because you know how to take a solid Selfie!

I just have to tell you that I ordered the navy and medallion sweater and LOVE it! I had a baby 2 months ago and it's super flattering. I decided to order one for my sister's birthday since she also just had a baby and they were sold out online, but I was able to put one on hold at her store. I went into the LOFT near me (in Minnesota) to return the XS of the sweater (I kept the SM) and the sales ladies were all super excited to have another one in the store because they were all sold out – they said some lady had blogged about the sweater and they are all sold out!
