Happy Wednesday, Everybody! It’s time to join up today with Shay and me to let everybody know WHAT’S UP this fine Wednesday! This post is sponsored by Zulily and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote pieces that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
Let’s get right to it!
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
Do you remember when I talked about Zulily earlier this month? It’s a funny sounding word, but it’s a site that many of you have been shopping for years, and I’m becoming hooked too.
It’s so much fun to hop on and look around for deals! I did my first post with them back in March, and I was so impressed with all they had to offer. The post a couple of weeks ago was full of great Fall finds, I’ve got some more cozy items today, and I’m looking forward to finding some awesome Christmas items next month!
LOOK HOW CUTE, Y’ALL!
1) hooded tunic / 2) feast mode tee (call out: For Your Guy!) / 3) lantern set / 4) 3 tiered wooden shelf / 5) Harry and David snack box / 6) letter board sign / 7) set of 5 LED candles / 8) metal and wood tier serving tray / 9) thankful and blessed pillow /10) blue and white stripe mixing bowl and whisk / 11) lumbar pillow with tassels / 12) personalized throw / 13) leopard throw / 14) pine in tin / 15) JOY sign / 16) I survived 2020 ornament /
1) hooded tunic / I mean, this seems like a perfect Thanksgiving top to me, especially if paired with leggings! #givemeallthedressing #givemealltherolls #youcankeepyourpumpkinpie
2) feast mode tee / We alternate years spending Thanksgiving with my family and Chris’s family, but both gatherings are super casual. If your Thanksgiving is casual too, your guy might like this graphic tee.
3) lantern set / These lanterns would be gorgeous on a mantle, a hearth, or a dining room table amongst some greenery. You could leave them out year round, but you could definitely make them festive around the holidays.
4) 3 tiered wooden shelf / This shelf is perfectly rustic, and I love how it’s styled here for a kitchen. I also think it would look great in a guest bathroom.
5) Harry and David snack box / This is a great little treat box that anybody would love to receive! It includes 4.5 oz. Moose Munch classic caramel premium popcorn, 5 oz. hickory-smoked summer sausage, 4 oz. sharp white cheddar cheese, 4 oz. mixed nuts, 4 oz. three-seed crackers, and 1.4 oz. honey hot mustard. It’s got all the makings to jump start you to an awesome charcuterie board!
6) letter board sign / Just imagine the fun messages you could highlight on this board.
7) set of 5 LED candles / I grabbed these for myself! I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with them yet, but I’m thinking some sort of festive arrangement on top of my dining room hutch.
8) metal and wood tier serving tray / This is one good looking tray! Pile it high with fruit in the kitchen or use it in your bathroom for makeup and/or jewelry.
9) thankful and blessed pillow / The message says it all. Throw it on your couch for an instant seasonal touch.
10) blue and white stripe mixing bowl and whisk / Is there lots of baking in your future? Or do you know somebody who likes to bake? This bowl is darling. It’s so darling, it would even look great displayed on a counter year round.
11) lumbar pillow with tassels / I love a throw pillow. And I really love a tassel. This one is bright and happy, and I think it would look great nestled amongst some holiday pillows come Christmas.
12) personalized throw / If your family is like my family, you can never have enough throws, and there’s only 3 of us! Love that this one can be personalized. It would make an excellent gift.
13) leopard throw / As I said, you can never have to many throws.
14) pine in tin / I’m a sucker for a faux pine tree. Especially a small one in a festive tin! This set of 3 trees is great too.
15) JOY sign / This adorable little print brings a smile to my face. It’s size could be great on a bookshelf, layered on a mantle, or even just on a side table.
16) I survived 2020 ornament / I think we all deserve this ornament. And how cute is this reindeer with a face mask.
Zulily’s inventory ranges from all sorts of adorable items for your kids, clothes for you (including bags, jewelry, and shoes), tech gadgets, beauty and makeup must haves, tons of fabulous home finds, and more! Every day new products are added to the site, but it’s important to know that you can’t waste time if you find something you have to have, because the deals only last a few days. Also, the prices can’t be beat, so things sell out quickly as well.
Also important, Zulily recently launched the Joy of Shopping, which explains their best price promise, unique finds and shipping. If you find the same item at Amazon.com or Walmart.com, they’ll match or even beat their price! WOW!
Thank you to Zulily for sponsoring this portion of the post, and for creating a site with so many darling items!

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT
It was 2 years ago that I headed to L.A. for the Holiday Glam collaboration with Gibson. It was so much fun, and when this popped up on my Timehop, I knew I needed to share it.
If you’re new around here, I was lucky enough to collaborate with these lovely ladies and Gibson to create a Holiday Glam line. We each had a shirt named after us at Nordstrom, and we got to spend 2 days in California hanging out and shooting the collection. It was a blast and an experience I will never forget.
Click HERE to see the behind the scenes post where we went to L.A., and click HERE to see the collection launch post (and see what pics of me were on the Nordstrom site)!

WHAT I’M LOVING
THE COLDER WEATHER! It’s been down right chilly in my neck of the woods this week! As I’m typing this right now (Tuesday morning), it’s 38 degrees. #BRRR
I mean, it’s so cold I’ve been having to break out my puffer to walk the dogs and for soccer games.
Do you remember my black puffer from last year? Well, it’s back! I wore it all over Boston on my girl’s trip, but I’ve so enjoyed having it here too. It’s such a great value. It’s warm, it’s water resistant, the pockets are deep, and it covers my bum! The quality is awesome, and the price is INCREDIBLE!!! This jacket also comes in grey and navy and has excellent reviews.
I got a medium, but if I didn’t need room in the chest, I probably could have stuck with a small.
black puffer / hoodie sweater / earrings / 7/8 leggings / neutral Adidas Edge Luxe sneakers (in clear brown/nude/white)

WHAT I’M EATING
I’m making taco soup for dinner tonight (YUM!), but we’ve still been eating the heck out of Hello Fresh over here. My favorite meal last week was the salmon with honey Dijon sauce with roasted green beans and potatoes on the side. SO GOOD and SO EASY! If you are interested in trying Hello Fresh for yourself, click HERE to order through my code and get $40 OFF.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO
Carter’s heel is feeling better, so he got to play soccer again a couple of weekends ago (it was rained out this past weekend). He played almost the whole game, HE SCORED, and he came off the field not limping! My mama heart sure was happy.
Here he is with his friend Ben.
And his friend Sean.
A couple of weeks ago I attended a little party at Erika’s house. She started hosting a Fall dinner for a group of friends three years ago, and it’s become one of my favorite traditions. The food is always delicious, and I really enjoy all the laughs and getting to spend time with some of my favorite people!
This year, the theme called for everybody to dress as witches. But here’s the deal, I’m NO FUN when it comes to costumes. So….I got creative and went as a 2020 witch……in a jogger set…..with my leopard mask. I was participating in the theme AND I was in a jogger set….WIN WIN! I ordered the little witch hat headband off of Amazon and called it a day.
And you can still use the code SHEAFFER20 for 20% OFF the jogger set!
pocket hoodie / joggers / witch hat headband/ black Edge Lux Adidas
I also wore a new set of fake eyelashes to the party. I wore them because I thought they were a little too much (a little too extra) for everyday, so a costume party seemed like the perfect place.
WELL.
Everybody loved them.
They all convinced me that they looked awesome, so I was excited to come home and link them for y’all. But here’s the deal, they appear to be sold out everywhere. They are called Charlotte’s Hollywood Glamour Lashes, so please leave a comment if you find them somewhere and then I can share them with everybody!
Erika did a beautiful job setting the table (she’s always the best hostess)!
And the food was a smorgasbord of delicious apps. Only some of the apps are pictured here, but my goodness the deviled eggs were next level. The top level here is Caprese skewers and the bottom level is beef skewers. My favorite was probably the spinach, artichoke, and cream cheese egg rolls (not pictured).
Love my people.

WHAT WE ARE DOING THIS WEEKEND
We have some fun family plans for the weekend. I’ll share pics on Friday Favorites next week!
*****************************
WHAT I’M WATCHING
Lifetime movies.
I have to be honest, they are bad. But good gracious they somehow suck me in every single time.
I didn’t realize what a problem cheerleaders murdering other cheerleaders is. BUT IT’S A PROBLEM, Y’ALL. Haha!
*****************************
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Silence.
Sweet silence.
The boys are off doing errands together.
I love a quiet house.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON
I’ve got lots of fun posts coming up that I’m really excited about!
Early next month I’ve got a post with Express, I’ve got some really great Amazon finds, and I’m going to be starting a 3 month long series with Zella! WooHoo!
I also have plans to share a delicious (and beautiful!) salad that you might want to fix for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

WHAT I’M WEARING
Did you see Monday’s post? Click HERE if you see anything you’d like to know more about. I’m not sure if they still are, but the faux leather jacket and the camo jacket were both ON SALE on Monday.
This is the outfit I was wearing under my puffer above. I’m IN LOVE with this hoodie sweater. I know I’m wearing it super casually here with leggings and sneakers, but it actually feels very luxe. And it looks and feels much more expensive than it’s under $40 price tag. I’m wearing a medium so it would be long enough for leggings, but if only wearing with jeans, a small would have been fine.
hoodie sweater / earrings / 7/8 leggings / neutral Adidas Edge Luxe sneakers (in clear brown/nude/white)
And finally, did you see yesterday’s surprise post? After I put the below outfit together, I decided to throw a post together for Tuesday. The sweater is just that good. Click HERE if you want to get to the post dedicated to this little gem. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
sweater / large monogrammed disc necklace /Amazon hoop earrings / stripe fold over clutch / gold party bangles /raw hem ankle jeans / neutral booties

Hi, Debbie! You have to be a Zulily member to view the site, which just requires you to share your e-mail. After you do that, you should be able to see everything! xoxo

I’m president of the ‘No Fun Club’ at Halloween! I would rather go to the dentist twice than wear a costume!! I’ll be wearing a Target tee that says ‘Boo’ and call it a day!!

Debbie Sheaffer says
Hi Sheaffer
Your Girlfriend Party’s look fabulous! Does the hostess make all the food or do friends contribute? It looks like a lot of time consuming detail. Thanks ~ Debbie Sheaffer
Sheaffer says
Hey, Debbie! For this particular night, Erika treats us all and takes care of everything which is SO AMAZING! She actually catered this night with a local company. xoxo
