My Obsession Continues. #ilovenavypufferwithtoggles

If you’ve been reading the blog for over a couple of months, there is something you have probably learned about me.
When I fall in love with something, I fall HARD.
Like the blardigan (yes, you can wear it out of the house, pay no attention to the model wearing it with lingerie).  But for the record, if I looked like that, I would wear it with lingerie.  Possibly out of the house.
My MUST HAVE shirt.
I could go on and on.
When I find something I like, I wear it constantly.
What can I say, I love deeply.
And I like to share that love with the world.
And some sort of character quirk I have makes me feel like you guys need to love the same things too.
Well, I have two new favorite things.
You know they are favorites because even though I’ve only owned them a short time, they’ve appeared in many outfit and ig posts over the last several weeks.

So today you are going to get to see yet another outfit with my new navy puffer.  WITH TOGGLES.
Because I don’t know if you’ve heard.
But it has toggles.

I saw this picture on Pinterest, and I knew I could copy it (with my own spin).
I also knew I wanted to know this girl.
  Who are her friends?  What is her name? Where is she?
Where did she find that belt?  What about her bracelets?
And most importantly…What is she listening to on those headphones?
I want to know it all.

I flipped the mustard to the pants and the red to the shirt, and I loved the look!

I wanted you to see the vest zipped up with the toggles fastened AND with the hood on.
And remember, the hood is completely removable too.
It easily zips on and off.

My red lace striped tee is from LOFT several years ago, but I found several similar tees.  These tees are great for all fall and winter, but especially great during the holiday season!

I got them last year and wear them all fall and winter long because they go with everything.

 SANTA ALERT #1
I had these next items as an alert last year, and they were so popular, I thought they were definitely worth mentioning again.

Nordstrom started carrying THESE Moon and Lola personalized and
monogrammed bracelets and necklaces last year.
They are mainly carried online, but if you are in the area,
they do have them exclusively at the Northpark store (at least I know they did last year).
Because that’s how Northpark rolls.  All sorts of exclusive.  😉

 Most girls LOVE a monogram, but think about this…
if you know somebody that JUST got married or is ABOUT to get married, how much would she LOVE something with her new monogram?!?
Yes.  If you’re wanting squeals of delight, this could be the gift.

The sweet girl that helped me at Northpark said her manager recommends that these pieces are ordered soon to ensure Christmas delivery because since they take a good 3 weeks before they will arrive on your doorstep. 
  I like both the script and the block version , but I do think the block version is easier to read.
 My favorite piece is definitely THIS block necklace.
My favorite colors are the antique gold, blond tortoise, tiger’s eye, and hot pink.

There’s a charity I recently learned about that’s helping women in need in the Dallas area.  I thought some of you ladies might want to know about it too!
I think it’s a really cool idea!
It’s called The Gift of Joy Project, and Kayle Kimbrough, one of it’s founders, 
has this to say about it:  
 
Our mission is to provide the gift of joy to women in local shelters, transitional housing, and maternity homes at Christmas time in the form of a shoebox filled with small luxury items. Through this small gift, we hope to bring a smile to the face of a woman facing a difficult situation, and remind her that she is not forgotten by her community.

You could think of these gifts as a subscription box for a women in need, packed by another women in her community. They’re filled with items such as makeup, small accessories, chocolates, planners, gift cards. You can also add fun things such as a sweet note, a card, tissue paper, or confetti inside to jazz it up. The boxes will be going to women at 15 North Texas shelters, including Genesis Women’s Shelter, GRACE Grapevine, and Dallas Life Foundation.

    I love the Tom's wedges and I think they are a must for everyone! I can't believe how they go with any and every outfit!

    I wore the Toms cheetah booties all over NYC this weekend, and they were so cute and comfy. Love your other pics, too! I also have a navy puffer vest from JCrew that I wear all.the.time. Such a great piece for fall and winter!

    Oh I love the idea behind Gift of Joy. Definitely on my charitable giving list for this holiday season now.

    And while it's not the navy puffer with toggles, I got my tweed puffer from Old Navy this week and it is my new favorite item. I paired it yesterday with grey skinnies from Loft, a black sweater from Banana Republic, and my orange hunter boots.

    I have been in a Nordstrom store exactly one time in my life. The nearest store to me is a three hour drive. I did not realize how easy it is to order online from Nordstrom.

    New convert here. I have ordered three things over the weekend. I am impressed that they were shipped on weekend days.

    If the product and their return process works as well as their ordering process/quick shipment works, I will be their customer for life!

    So – question – since whenever you fall in love with stuff you wear it constantly, does that mean that when you find a new love you donate/sell/throw out other stuff from your closet (since you won't be wearing it much more anyways)? Just wondering because you seem to refresh your wardrobe much more than I do, and I constantly STRUGGLE to keep my closet paired down (and I'm using "paired down" pretty loosely). Thinking you might have some really good closet management tips… 🙂

      Hi Lisa! Great question. I wish I was better at this, but I too really struggle with removing items from my closet. I go through twice a year and purge, but I don't purge nearly enough. I have heard a cool thing that others do: Turn all of your hanger around in your closet and don't turn it back around the right way until you wear it again. If you haven't worn it all during it's season, then donate it! I've never actually done this, but it sounds good in theory!!! 🙂

    Yay, finally something in a size I can order!! lol I got the Lucky Brand red lace stripe shirt and on clearance that is a fantastic price and will be so cute for the holidays. We're moving from sunny beautiful CA to snowy MA next June and I sure could use that puffer vest, I love me some toggles!

    Sheaffer, just got my vest in the mail today. I LOVE it! I have such a hard time finding clothes. I also ordered the must have black shirt, and I couldn't believe it when it fit!
