and it was a big hit!
Find that post HERE.
Today, the SPLURGE vs. STEAL post is dedicated to the Stella and Dot Kimberly Necklace
that we all know and love.
If you’ve been reading this blog since the beginning, you’ve probably seen it no less than 100 times.
NOW LISTEN GIRLS.
If you already have the Stella and Dot necklace and paid full price for it, THAT’S OKAY!
Join the club!
That’s what I did too.
And believe you me,
I we got my our $$ out of it.
If I did a cost per wear analysis for myself, we’re probably talking like a nickel per wear or something ridiculous like that.
So, if you already have it, don’t kick yourself for paying full price for it.
In my opinion, the necklace was worth every bit of the $89 I paid for it.
If you never bought the necklace because you thought it was way too expensive,
TODAY IS YOUR LUCKY DAY!!!
And you know what, even if you already have one, when you see how good my “steal” option is, you might want to consider buying it for Christmas gifts. Especially because for the next 2 days it’s 20% OFF (the already low price) for Pinterest Told Me To readers!
The collage has the regular price for the Accessory Concierge version at $35, but remember that for 48 hours you get 20% OFF with the code PTMT20FALL!
That means that the necklace is actually $28 right now!!!!!!!!
TWENTY. EIGHT. DOLLARS.
THAT’S A $61 DIFFERENCE GIRLS!
Get it before it sells out!
Here’s another side by side of the splurge and the steal in real life.
Can’t tell the difference?
Neither can I.
9/10 dentists agree this is a freaking amazing knock-off.
In the collage below, Stella and Dot is on the left and Accessory Concierge is on the right.
I would be hard pressed to tell you the difference.
It looks like the Accessory Concierge version is maybe a teensy tiny bit wider. Maybe.
But without getting out a ruler, it’s hard to know.
And I have no idea where a ruler is.
While we’re on the subject, I also have no idea where Carter’s Sperry’s are since the move…but that is neither here nor there.
I was afraid that the Accessory Concierge version was going to “feel” cheap. I’m not sure what that means, expect that I was maybe expecting it to be really light and just feel different.
Well it’s not light.
And it doesn’t feel different.
I’m telling you, I agree with the dentists.
This is a freaking good knock-off.
I thought I would show you the Accessory Concierge necklace in some outfit pictures, along with some of my other favorite pieces from Accessory Concierge!
Remember, the code PTMT20FALLwill get you 20% off of your entire jewelry purchase!
And I can’t say enough nice things about the people at Accessory Concierge or the jewelry that I own. And no, this is not a sponsored post. I just really REALLY like everything!
I adore all 3 of them, and I highly recommend the earrings and the bracelet just as much as I do the necklace.
Isn’t the bracelet is to die for?!? I just love how it’s so sparkly and chunky!
I probably wear this bracelet at least 3x every single week. It’s a great bracelet, and would also make a fantastic Christmas gift!

You should know that I envision my friend Andrea jumping over her couch at 5:45 a.m. to grab her credit card out of her tote bag as soon as she sees the beaded bracelet.
Don’t hurt yourself Andrea.
And just for the record, my favs are the leopard cuff, the tassel necklace, and the turquoise drusy pendant. I think all 3 of these pieces would be great to spruce up a fall wardrobe!
Just imagine all of them with skinny jeans, tees, boyfriend cardigans, and boots!
Remember, the code is: PTMT20FALL

And last but not least, I wanted to make sure you saw one of their newer pieces they recently sent to me so I could help promote it for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Find the Fight Like a Girl bracelet HERE.
As soon as I got this bracelet, I photographed it for this post, and then I promptly put it back in the box and dropped it off on Manda’s front porch.
I know this is technically Breast Cancer awareness month, and Manda doesn’t have breast cancer, but she’s still FIGHTING and needed some jewelry. 🙂
(FYI: I will highlight more breast cancer awareness products later this month.)

20% of the proceeds go to breastcancerfund.org.
Oops…fight like a girl is sold out….but Here Comes a Fighter is still available HERE.
Cushion cut bracelet HERE. Seriously, couldn’t love it more if I tried.
You know what, let’s go ahead and make it an official Santa Alert!
And just for fun, here’s just a portion of my 1st
Splurge vs. Steal post.
In that post, I was making the case for a cognac tote.
And Pinterest proved my point quite nicely.
If you can afford the Madewell tote that’s all over Pinterest (it’s $168), then go for it!
It’s classic, well made, and probably worth every single penny.
I think it
would be totally worth the splurge, but if you don’t want to spend that
much on a bag, I have an alternative for you that I found online at
*The look-alike tote is reversible, so you can get the cognac color by either ordering the black, gold, olive or oxblood and just turning it inside out!
And this morning I got this comment from a reader (thank you Amy!):
I have the black/cognac “steal” tote from Nordstrom, and I love it! I
get SO many compliments on it! You just can’t beat $48 for a great bag.
The Madewell tote is obviously higher quality, but for $48, this Nordstrom look-a-like is a really great substitute.
Now that you’ve seen 2 Splurge vs. Steal posts, what do you think?
Should I make this a regular thing? Sound off in the comments!
While “watching” football yesterday ;), I scoured the Nordstrom site for some great deals!

It’s not on sale, but the pea coat everybody went crazy for during the anniversary sale (that sold out super fast) is now back in stock.
And even though it’s not on sale…it’s ONLY $58.
So, if you wanted to, you could just act like it was on sale.
Hey, whatever helps you sleep at night. 😉
The collar is soooooo cute and it’s just a great coat.
