I ADORE this dress.
There are 5 reviews left on this dress, and they are all over the place.  2 left 5 stars, 1 left 4 stars, and 2 left 1 star.
Personally, I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I tried it on in store some time last month, and for some reason I left without it.
I was all, I don’t wear dresses that often, I don’t need this dress.
But it haunted me.
And I decided that even though I didn’t technically need it, I had to have it.
Because I loved it.
So I hopped online last week and ordered it.
The day after it arrived I met my photographer so he could grab some pics of me in it.
 And just to be clear, my photographer is my hubby. And I met him in the backyard.
 Because we’re fancy like that.  😉

For size reference, I’m wearing a Petite Small.
I’m almost 5’4″, and I like my dresses short, so I usually wear a petite in dresses and skirts, but never in pants or shorts.  I often wear a medium in dresses, but a small was perfect for me in this, so I think it runs just a tiny bit big.  But just a tiny bit.

I loved rolling the cuffs up for a casual look, but I felt like I looked really put together.
And I’m of course wearing my new favorite necklace and my tried and true blingy hoops.

You know that I have been carrying my St. Anne Florentine Leather tote (type Florentine in the search bar on the top left and then scroll down to the St. Anne) from  Barrington for over a year now.  I have other bags, and I sometimes like to mix it up (like with my new cross body or a fun fringe bag)….but I carry my leather tote 80% of the time.
Well, somebody call the sheriff, because there’s a new bag in town.
I have a 3 part series coming up with Barrington that starts in October, but I had to go ahead and preview my newest bag today, because it’s just that good.
I have no doubt I will still be carrying my leather St. Anne tote, but this one will definitely be in heavy rotation as well.  It’s a bit smaller than my St. Anne (it’s called The Savannah), it has a bit more structure to it, and it has a zippered top.  And I love the pattern and color.
I usually get my initials on my Barrington bags, but this time I got the Barrington crest…

I think it looks great with the military green of the dress.  I also think it will look so good paired with mustard! You’ll see the bag paired with jeans in a couple of weeks, and it looks great with those as well.  It’s a vibrant print and color (it actually kind of looks like denim in person, which sounds weird….but is AWESOME), and I know it will go with so much!

 This dress is everything I look for in a dress, but the 5 biggest positives about the dress follow:
