Hey, Ladies! I hope everybody had an amazing weekend with your people.
We had GORGEOUS weather, and we spent a whole lot of time outside getting our backyard spring and summer ready! We made TONS of outdoor progress!
Sadly, we did not make any progress on the Facebook front. My Sheaffer Told Me To Facebook page is still very much hacked :(, and they are still pushing out Teen Mom videos all day every day. We have spent hours and hours (and hours) working on getting this problem resolved, and we’ve still been unable to regain control of my page. We took the weekend off from working on it, but we’re going to be back at it this morning, so please send all your positive thoughts!
Okay…let’s move on to the post…
I’ve got some new FABULOUS spring/summer outfits for y’all today! I’ve got looks for all sorts of occasions: for the beach, for a wedding, for a graduation, for a date night, for a girlfriend lunch, for running around town, for just about wherever you are going!
Today’s pieces come from Nordstrom, Amazon, J Crew Factory, J Crew, and Walmart. And you’ll see that there are a handful of pieces that you will see in several of the outfits. I wanted to show that the pieces are versatile and can be used in lots of different outfits!
Let’s kick things off today with a beach look! I showed you this crochet cover-up on Friday’s post (click HERE to see it on me), and I talked about how I thought it would be so chic with a black swimsuit and gold jewelry. I think this outfit collage proves that! The bracelets are waterproof and perfect for the pool and beach. These flip flops have been my GO TO summer flip flops for like 5 years now. They are flexible (so super comfy) and waterproof.
I saw these absolutely stunning green flower sandals online, and I immediately knew that I wanted to build an outfit around them. I think this outfit is full of special pieces.
The sandals! The dress! The clutch! The earrings! The ring! EVERYTHING is special!
I don’t have any special occasion coming up, but I sure do wish I did! I would LOVE to wear this exact outfit.
The above outfit is obviously super dressy, but the outfit below shows how some of the pieces above can be worn much more casually as well.
This one shoulder dress is so unique. The flutter sleeve, the pleats falling from the one shoulder, the big tie at the waist, and the color…. I love it all! You could obviously wear a great pair of heels with this dress, but I think it also looks great with a pair of classic cognac Miller sandals.
This next outfit is SO ME. I already own the white jeans (they are a MUST HAVE) and the cognac Miller sandals and love and HIGHLY RECOMMEND both. So I basically feel like it’s my civic duty to buy the other items so I can show you the entire outfit on me. The floral top is everything I love in a top with the design and fit, and I think the colors and the pattern are gorgeous. I ordered a medium.
As soon as all the items get to me, I’ll feature the outfit on me on a post!
HOW CUTE IS THIS OUTFIT!
I mean, are you dying over the scalloped shorts? BECAUSE I’M DYING.
The sunglasses are the ones I’ve been wearing from Amazon for the past several years. I have them in black and tortoise, and I wear them in almost every outfit post you see. The raffia hoop earrings are lightweight, adorable, and super affordable from Amazon.
Talk about versatility…
You saw the earrings, the tote, and the sandals in the outfit above….
And now I’m styling them with this DARLING puff sleeve dress. I love the square neck, the ruffle on the sleeves, and the sweet little pattern. It arrives tomorrow, and if I like it even half as much as I think I’m going to, we’ll be in business!
I grabbed this floral blouse when I was at Nordstrom last week and love how easy breezy it is. It’s a super relaxed fit and it does run quite big, so I would definitely size down. I think it’s so fresh with the white jeans, the colorful earrings, and the hot pink clutch!
I can’t wait to show y’all these denim shorts later this week! They are sooooooo good. They have a 5″ inseam and are stretchy, comfy, and flattering like all things Wit and Wisdom. I have a feeling that these babies will start selling out as summer approaches, so get them while you can!
The code STMT20 will get you 20% off of the new Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted eye cream. And ladies….please listen when I say this to you…it’s my favorite new product find probably over the last year or so. Maybe even the last 2 years! I’m telling you that it is AWESOME. I put it on in the morning before I put on my makeup, and it does what it claims….IT ILLUMINATES! It’s a brand new product, but there are already 35 reviews and it looks like every single one of them might be 5 STARS.
It plumps fine lines, calms redness, disguises black circles AND MAKES YOU FREAKING GLOW! And in addition to the glowing, you’re getting all the benefits of an eye cream that’s working during the day. Get 20% OFF with STMT20.
POPULAR OUTFIT COLLAGES FROM EARLIER THIS MONTH…
Travel Style is something that I really put a lot of thought into. And while I of course want to look cute, above all else I want to be comfy! This outfit hits the mark!
The performance joggers are the joggers I named a must have back in the fall. I have several different colors, and I wear all of them constantly. They are so soft, so comfy, and so flattering. I wear a small in the joggers. I wear a medium in the tee and a small in the denim jacket. If you prefer a lighter wash, check out this new denim jacket. It looks fabulous.
The sneakers are probably my favorite purchase of 2023 thus far. They are just so dang cute! I love the colors, and I love that they are slip on with the bungee cord laces. True to size for me.
Somebody set me down on a chaise lounge and give me a drink with a tiny umbrella. This outfit collage inspires me.
I think a black suit with a black cover up is such a chic look. Top it off with gold jewelry and a straw hat and you’re all sorts of ready for pool side lounging. The straw hat has excellent reviews. I’ve never had a hat like this, but the reviews are convincing me I need to give it a try!
The flip flops have been my GO TO summer flops for years and years. They are flexible, water resistant, and all around awesome.
I love every single thing about this look.
I own (and LOVE) a red, white, and blue version of the pink striped suit. The fit is awesome and makes me feel great, and the little tie front is flirty and cute. The medium is perfect on me. The colorblock suit is one of my favorite color combos. Both suits are on SUPER SALE.
I own both the white jeans and the Mother jeans and they are both in constant rotation. I wear my regular size 27 in both. The white jeans are very stretchy, the Mother jeans definitely have some give, and both are incredibly comfy and cute.
And I’m DYING over these sandals. They are going to look awesome with a tan!
Okay, y’all! I’m laughing so hard. I’m also rolling my eyes SO HARD. See the earrings? Gorgeous, right?
Don’t buy them.
When I saved them for the collage, I thought they were $45. However, they are in fact NOT $45. THEY ARE $450. OOPS. I knew they were stunning.
I grabbed the flutter sleeve top in orange for a future post, and I’m totally smitten. (The post went live a couple of weeks ago, and you can see me in the orange one HERE.) It’s easy, breezy, gauzy, and just lovely. I needed a medium in the shirt, the small was way too tight across the bust. These denim shorts are awesome. Click HERE to see them on me (look for the pic with a hot pink short sleeve sweatshirt).
This ruffle midi dress is a little more romantic and feminine than I usually go for, but there was just something about this dress. And I thought it was just so pretty styled with the pearl accessories, the pale pink bag, and the creamy sandals.
This dress is just plain DARLING! And it’s FUN too! Am I brave enough to wear a dress with cut outs on the side? I’m not sure, but I want to be brave enough! And I feel like that should count for something.
So what do y’all think?
