Happy Friday, Everybody! WoooooooooooHoooooooooo!
Before we get to today’s post, I have a couple of housekeeping items to address:
- My Sheaffer Told Me To Facebook page is still hacked. 🙁 We are trying everything, and just as soon as we think we’re making progress, we hit another wall. I’ve heard from lots of people that the process is just incredibly slow, so we are holding out hope that I will eventually regain control of the page!
- I’m trying something a little different today, and you’ll notice that all of my selfies are on a white background. Personally, I like how the room in the background isn’t competing with the outfits, but you will notice that sometimes certain things still remain (like chair legs) that didn’t get picked up when the background was being erased. I really think the white background makes the outfits pop, so I hope y’all like it too.
Okay, let’s get to the post…
I’m of course happy because it’s Friday, but I’m also THRILLED that today is my monthly Amazon haul!!! Today’s stuff is SO GOOD, y’all. The items are DARLING, WELL MADE, and the prices are FANTASTIC. We all know that shopping Amazon can be hit or miss, but with me putting in the work for you, I’m hoping you’ll only have a cart full of HITS!
Here’s a little sneak peek of this month’s haul…
***********************
Let’s kick things off with this adorable embroidered dress. I showed it last year in red and y’all loved it, so I thought I should share in navy too. It comes in 14 colors! It’s totally festive and obviously perfect for a Mexican vacation! I love the little pom poms on the sleeves and the little ruffle at the bottom. I’m wearing a medium here, and I need the medium in the chest. Otherwise, a small would be fine.
I’m wearing neutral raffia hoop earrings a colorful bracelet stack and some patent sandals (in almond) with this dress, and I’m wearing them in a majority of outfits in today’s post. I highly recommend all of them, and I would suggest sizing up a 1/2 in the sandals.
embroidered dress / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / sandals
This dress is so soft, so feminine, and it feels like pajamas. The chest is fully smocked (which is super comfortable and forgiving), the sheer sleeves have a bit of length to them, and the skirt is lined with a ruffle at the bottom. It’s a really sweet little dress.
Officially this color is called “rosepink”, but I think it’s a soft lilac. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
swiss dot dress / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / sandals
I think you are going to have to just trust me on this boho tunic dress. It’s not photographing as cute as it is, and that’s a shame, BECAUSE IT’S SO DANG CUTE! I love it so much.
This is the “red-foral”, and it combines red, orange, blue, and turquoise. It slips on over your head, it’s super comfy, and the sleeves have a little elastic band on the cuff. Again, I know that it doesn’t look like much, but I think it’s my favorite item in this month’s haul. I also love the navy and pink one, so I went ahead and grabbed it too. Dress it up with wedges or keep it super casual with flat sandals. It could even work as a swimsuit cover up.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but it’s quite roomy. I ordered the navy and pink one in a small, so I’ll show it soon!

This flutter sleeve dress is a gorgeous red and super fun. I will say it’s a bit different than I was expecting. Online it looks like the dress kind of has a lacy texture, but the one I received does not. The neckline is a deep v, the sleeves are little bitty, and the dress isn’t lined….but I still like it a lot! I actually think it would work great as a cover up too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
flutter sleeve dress / bracelets / wedges
This pom pom straw tote is so cute and obviously pairs perfectly with the look!
flutter sleeve dress / bracelets / wedges
On the same link as above, I saw this dress just last night! IT’S SO FLIPPING CUTE! Don’t you worry, I’ve already ordered it for April’s post. #igotchu
This scoop neck swing dress has EXCELLENT RATINGS (over 9,000 5 star reviews) and is on sale for under $15!
This dress is a high crewneck (although they are calling it a scoop neck) and comes in around 20 colors. If you’re like me and prefer a different neckline than a high crewneck, you can click HERE to see dresses in the same material, but with different necklines and in different lengths. There’s something for everybody!
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
Now if you want a good laugh, go check out how the red one (that looks more like a coral) is styled. That’s gonna be a no for me dog. 🙂
denim jacket / swing dress / multicolor beaded necklace / lookalike tote / sandals
Do you see the denim jacket I’m wearing above? It’s from Amazon, but it’s 1 of 2 denim jackets I own from Amazon, and I happened to grab the wrong one for all of the outfits in today’s post. The one I’m wearing today is now sold out, so I wanted to direct you to another Amazon denim jacket I have and love. I have it in the “azure mood” in medium.
Here I am in an outfit from a previous post wearing the denim jacket that is still available.
This tank maxi dress is adorable, and I’m telling you, pretty much anything looks great with this jacket.
It’s a tank dress, and y’all know I pretty much always wear a jacket or cardi with tanks…but if you’re more confident without a jacket, YOU GO! I’m wearing the cheetah, but you’ve got 17 colors/patterns to choose from! Some are great for spring and summer, and others are great for fall. I’m wearing a medium, but I need a small.
tank maxi dress / denim jacket (A Azure Mood) / bracelet stack / sandals
This tiered dress screams summer! And this orange is so fun and will be totally gorgeous with a tan. It comes in 17 colors including classic black, crisp white, a vibrant turquoise, a soft blush, a chambray, and so much more! It’s one of those dresses that I bet many of you will buy in a couple of colors.
There’s elastic across the back band at the top, which makes it both forgiving and comfortable. I’m wearing a small here, but it is a bit tight across my chest. It’s a reallllllllllly great dress!
tiered tent dress / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / sandals
You know me, I had to throw on a denim jacket and a beaded necklace.
tiered tent dress /denim jacket / multicolor beaded necklace / studded sandals
I absolutely love a drawstring skirt moment. Today I’ve styled a couple of different skirts with a super fitted tee and a denim jacket. If I lost the jacket, I’d style the skirts with a more relaxed tee. I was really drawn to this green, but I really love the soft pink floral too. I think they are fun, flirty, and a really great option for spring and summer dressing! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
denim jacket / white tee / drawstring skirt / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / studded sandals
This skirt is the “T3” colorway. It’s a really great neutral with a spotted pattern. This one also look great with a tan! I love how flirty it is. Again, I’m wearing a small.
denim jacket / white tee / drawstring skirt / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / studded sandals
In this next outfit I’m wearing drawstring ruffle hem shorts. And listen, I’m just as surprised as you are. If you would have told me last week that I was going to be wearing ruffle hemmed shorts this week, I’m not sure I would have believed you, BUT HERE WE ARE. And here’s the kicker, I think they’re super cute! I’m wearing a medium here, but I might prefer a small? Or I don’t know, maybe I’m digging the loose fit.
denim jacket / white tee / drawstring ruffle hem shorts / crossbody bag / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / studded sandals
I’m in love with both the colors and the pattern of this button up shift dress. A pink and red palm print is the stuff my beach dreams are made of. 😉 For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I definitely need a small. It’s quite oversized.
button up shift dress / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / wedges
Super soft, feels like a jersey cotton, and so comfortable you will never want to take it off. This faux wrap dress has an empire waist and it softly drapes below the empire waist. It has THOUSANDS of 5-star reviews. For size reference, I’m wearing a small (and I could probably wear an x-small). It’s very generously sized.
faux wrap dress / lookalike tote
Try not to act surprised, but I thought it would be a good idea to style it with my beaded necklace and denim jacket. #cuetheshockandawe
faux wrap dress / denim jacket / woven tote / multicolor beaded necklace / studded sandals
Here’s the same dress that you see above, but it’s the short version, and I chose the navy dot. I like this v neck faux wrap on me so much more than the high crew neck (green dress shown earlier). For size reference, I’m wearing a small, and there’s still room.
faux wrap dress / bracelets / sandals (on right)
denim jacket / faux wrap dress / multicolor beaded necklace / lookalike tote / sandals (on right)
It comes in several colors, and I think dress is a great option for teachers. It’s super comfy, obviously long, and it looks great with a denim jacket thrown on top. Worn on it’s own, I actually think it leans a bit “Little House On The Prarie”, but the denim jacket fixes that. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
dress / denim jacket / heart earrings / similar cross necklace / TB Miller sandals (less expensive Amazon option HERE)
This dress is strapless and fabulous, but I’m telling you, nobody has to know it’s strapless if you don’t want them to. Just pull it on and look amazing. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
red strapless dress / denim jacket / multicolor beaded necklace / sandals
Do you have a little black dress that you love? I feel like everybody needs to have a great LBD in their closet, because you never know when the occasion might arise where you need one.
This one has a deep v and it’s quite short, which makes it sexy! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
little black dress / bracelets / studded heeled sandals
Do y’all remember this Happy Campter tee from a couple years ago? I’m still wearing it and still loving it! It’s very soft and super cute. I’m wearing a medium.
Here I have it paired with a new pair of Levi’s denim shorts. I LOVE these shorts, but here’s a pro tip: SIZE UP 2 SIZES. I had to size up 2 for a comfortable fit. If your tummy isn’t your problem area, you might need to only size up 1 size, but I went up two full sizes because they don’t have any stretch. I’m wearing a 29. I really like the light wash for summer, and the frayed hem is great fun.
Happy Campter tee / Levi’s denim shorts / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
So heads up, this pink and green blouse is really expensive. We’re talking like $130. But it’s special, and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The colors and the pattern are to die for, and I love the fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I of course love it with denim shorts…
pink and green blouse / Levi’s denim shorts / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
But it looks great with white denim too…
I think this entire outfit looks high end.
The white boot cut jeans are Democracy, so they have the Wit and Wisdom Ab-Solution technology we all know and love. I would suggest sizing down in the jeans, I’m wearing a 2.
pink and green blouse / raffia hoop earrings / white boot cut jeans / wedges
This camel heather open front cardigan is one I’ve owned for a couple of years now. It’s AWESOME and a basic that would serve you well in your closet. It’s lightweight, has a nice flowy fit, and it looks great with regular denim, white denim, black denim, and dress pants as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
white tee / open front cardigan / heart earrings / beaded necklace / jeans / TB Miller sandals (less expensive Amazon option HERE)
This swiss dot blouse is so pretty and so feminine with the v neck, the subtle puff sleeves, and the swiss dot detailing. I’m wearing the “15-purple 2”. It’s got a bit of length to it (as you can see on the right), but you can see on the left how you can still do a 1/2 tuck very easily.
swiss dot blouse / white jeans / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
I have several colors and versions of this puff sleeve sweater. It’s crazy soft (you seriously won’t believe how soft it is) with cute puffed sleeve that falls to the elbow (and y’all know I love a longer sleeve). I’ve shown it before in white and in a soft blush, and I have the crew neck version too. Yellow isn’t typically a color I go for, but I thought this lemon yellow was a lot of fun. The reviews are EXCELLENT, and this link has both v-neck and crew neck options. I love it with white denim and with denim shorts! Both the sleeves and the waist have a banded hem which you can leave out or tuck in. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
yellow puff sleeve sweater / white jeans / Levi’s denim shorts / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
I think it looks great styled with my multicolor straw bag.
yellow puff sleeve sweater / white jeans / multicolor straw bag / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
This puff sleeve tee is a super soft v-neck, and it has a super cute sleeve detail to give it extra feminine style. There are tons of colors to choose from, and I definitely want the basic white too. This is an awesome closet staple. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
pink puff sleeve tee / white boot cut jeans / multicolor straw bag / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
There’s nothing quite like a pretty white blouse in the summer. This one has a split neck and some fluttery sleeves. I’m wearing it super casually here with denim shorts, but it’s definitely nice enough for an office environment as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
white blouse / Levi’s denim shorts / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
Gosh I love a great lounge set.
And this is a really great lounge set.
This is the “beige”, and I’m wearing a medium. It’s not too thick, not too thin, and although I just wear it at home I could definitely run out to the mailbox in it or even walk the dogs.
Please ignore the chair leg that didn’t get picked up by the white background eraser. I laughed out loud when I saw it.
waffle knit pajama set (beige)
If you prefer short sleeves, here’s a short sleeve version that also has excellent reviews. I’m wearing a medium.
I’ve got another great lounge set. This one is a lightweight sweater material and somehow manages to be both adorable and a little bit sexy. The same link has some sleeveless versions as well.
It’s a relaxed fit, and the slouchy top will fall off your shoulder a bit (which is wear the sexy comes in). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And look! The top looks great styled in a real outfit as well!
lounge set top / Levi’s denim shorts / raffia hoop earrings / sandals
If you don’t have one of these cover ups yet… FIX THAT NOW. Like seriously, grab at least one now and thank me later.
I have it in both black and red from year’s past, and I’m quite sure it’s my favorite cover up I’ve ever owned. It’s one size fits all, and I never really get how that works, but it totally does! The smocked waist is super stretchy and I love the loose cap sleeves. It’s short (which I love), but it also keeps you totally covered up.
It’s very affordable, so this year I threw the “hollow out apricot” and “hollow out orange” in my cart.
I feel like this neutral one is so chic and would look absolutely amazing with a classic black swimsuit and gold jewelry.
cover up / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / sandals
Here it is in the orange. What a great color!
cover up / raffia hoop earrings / bracelets / sandals
This cover up comes in tons of great colors and patterns, and I really like the black stripe and the black palm options. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
cover up / straw beach bag / bracelets / sandals (on right)
I love a cover up that’s a little extra, and this kaftan cover up totally fits the bill! This one is a blue and white pattern that is like a graphic botanical print. Details include a striped neckline, a pink tie, and pink piping around the relaxed sleeves and down the side. This would be a great option for a vacation where you leave the pool or beach and head straight to lunch or dinner.

So what do you think? I hope y’all loved this post as much as I do. I was kind of blown away by this month’s finds, and I hope you found a couple of winners for yourself!
That’s all for today, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people!
Julie says
I like the pictures better with the background.
Sheaffer says
Hey, Julie! Thanks for letting me know! I hope others speak up. I’m so interested to know what the majority thinks! xoxo
AMANDA HEINLE says
Thank you for your fun finds. I always look forward to your posts. I also like the regular background as well. Have a great weekend.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Amanda! Thanks for casting your vote! xoxo
Stephanie Jennings says
I agree…I like the normal background better 🙂 You do look fabulous either way though.
Cassie says
I agree Julie.
Kristen says
I like pics better w/ background too!
Erika Slaughter says
You found so many treasures in this post, Sheaffer!
sandi says
Glad someone else spoke up before I did. Honestly, I prefer the home background, it seems more personal.
And the dress styled with the jeans is a BIG no 🙂
Sheaffer says
Hi, Sandi! I have to say, I’m surprised! I thought everybody was going to love the new white background. Haha! Well, it’s much less time consuming to do the regular ol’ way, so that’s good news for me! 🙂 xoxo
Pamela says
There are some really cute items in this post. Gotta say though that I am not a fan of this white background. But I still think you are cute as a button
Sheaffer says
Hi, Pamela! Thanks for the feedback and for framing it in such a kind way! I’ll say it again, I’m SO SURPRISED! I thought everybody was going to love it! Hahaha! #oops:)
Carly says
I personally like the white background much better. Here is why… I often find using a room ( mirror ) very distracting for me because I see all the other aspects of the design in the room as well. It’s what I do for a living and I am very visual. I can tell you exactly how I would redesign every room you have taken a picture in. I still wonder if there is something filling the antique wooden box on the dining table? For me white is a lovely way to showcase the item and not the room. You can clearly see the details of the items on the white. Go with your gut and you can always change back if you think it isn’t for everyone.
Mary Ellen says
Some really cute finds this month!! Thanks for sharing!
I like the white background!
Sheaffer says
Thanks, Mary Ellen! xoxo
Shay Shull says
I never minded the background, but the white is really nice and fresh too! I was praying over the FB thing just this morning. I’m still so sorry it’s taking this long.
Sheaffer says
Well friend, we are in the overwhelming MINORITY with liking the white background! 🙂 Haha! And thank you for praying!!! I know I can always count on you for prayers! xoxo
Heidi says
I feel bad commenting, but since you’re asking, I also love the photos with the background. It provides some visual interest and dimension and I almost feel like I can get a better sense of the length and proportion of clothes. But I know you probably spent a lot of work on this post, and you had some great finds!
Sheaffer says
Heidi, thank you so much for providing your feedback in such a kind way! Looks like I’ll be switching back to the old way. It’s wayyyy easier, so I guess I should consider this a win! 🙂 xoxo
sally says
So many good finds!! Just putting in my vote for the traditional background- I really prefer it over the white. Have a great weekend!
Kate says
It’s fun to try new things! Did you use an app or something like Photoshop?
But since you asked, I prefer having a background. Even a simple floor and wall base helps me relate.
Thank you for great ideas each week!
MindaC says
I’ll say what we’re all thinking “We miss the dogs!” 🙂
Can’t wait to check out some of this stuff. I love the lounge set with the sweater and shorts. I wear my blardigan year around even with shorts. This will be a little “sexier” for sure.
Jackie T. says
I actually like the white background. I also like your outdoor pics, those give me a sense of movement and real life.
Whichever way you choose, it’s all good my friend.
Keri says
Hi Sheaffer. What a fun haul of springy clothes! I am so ready for the ridiculously stormy weather we’ve been having in California to be over – yet another storm arrives on Tuesday! Anyway, adding my vote to return to the regular background. Somehow it helps me picture the item in person, and gives a better sense of proportion because I can see you in relation to your room. Hope that makes sense.
Nancy says
Totally prefer your regular background. All the white seriously caused some eye strain. Also, your real life background feels more relatable. Curious for the final vote tally in favor of white background vs. regular background😁
CASSIE says
GREAT HAUL AND LOVE THE WHITE BACKGROUND : )
Kelsey says
Another vote for the regular background! Love the Amazon hauls!
Jessamyn says
I’m sure you’re going to get tons of feedback both ways but I like the white background!
KD says
I like the regular background better too. But of course I’d read it either way – thanks for all the hard work you put into your posts!
Kim says
Is the kaftan cover up fabric a cotton or a silky material?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Kim! It’s rayon, but it’s very breathable. It’s soft, but it’s not silky at all. Hope this helps! xoxo
Therese says
How long did it take you to get boho tunic dress? I ordered one and it said end of May.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Therese! Mine arrived within the week. So sorry there seems to be a huge shipping delay now. 🙁
