Let’s start with some blouses that will transition us perfectly to fall!

This blouse is lightweight, great for early fall, and easy to dress up or down. The sleeves have a double ruffle, the collar has a small pleated ruffle, and the deep v is very flattering. I’m wearing the “B Red”, but there are 32 color and pattern options! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium (which is typical for me in a blouse like this), but it is more fitted across the chest than I am used to. I would suggest sizing up if between sizes.

This peplum babydoll blouse is perfect for those of you that don’t like to do a half tuck. The wide peplum hem lays nicely and is quite flattering. I love it, and I’m not the only one. It has 9,000 ratings, and the great majority are 5 stars. I’m wearing the “blue”, but there are 25 options. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Here’s another blouse that great with jeans, but it would also be perfect for the office. It’s got a single little flutter sleeve, and the cut is pretty and feminine. I’m wearing “A Brown 2”, but there are 40 options! FORTY! For size reference, I’m wearing the small, but I definitely need the medium. I accidentally ordered the small.

CARDIGANS

Okay, ladies.

I WAS INFLUENCED.

Literally, I feel like 1/2 of the influencers I follow told me that I needed this coatigan. They told me I needed it, I believed them, I bought it, and they were right.

It’s called a “coatigan” because it’s 50% coat and 50% cardigan. I’ll tell you this.. I think it’s 100% fabulous. I actually don’t love wearing a coat, so I think this is a great option. And because its 1/2 cardigan, you won’t even need to take it off when inside if you don’t want to. You could wear this all day long and it would be fine. It’s not bulky at all, but it will still keep you warm. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This open front cardigan is very soft and the prettiest pale pink, although it does come in several other colors. It covers your bum, so it would be plenty long enough to wear with leggings if you wanted to. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This long cardigan has a v-neck neckline, an open front, and 2 pockets. And again, this is another cardi that can be easily dressed up or down. It ranges in size from x-small to 6x. and I”m wearing a small.

Y’all.  It’s SO SOFT and SO COZY and SO FLIPPING CUTE.

I was unsure about the colors when I ordered the cardi, but I absolutely love the colors in person.  Officially this one is called “orange”.  I think this would be awesome to wear on Thanksgiving, and it looks like most sizes in this exact color and pattern will arrive in 1-2 days.

I can’t say I LOVE IT enough. It’s currently on sale, so I hope Amazon doesn’t jacket up the price soon. I hate it when they do that.

The jeans are from Amazon too!!!  They are stretchy (so super comfy) and have a nice straight leg instead of a skinny leg, so they are totally on trend.  They’ve got some moderate distressing, but there isn’t a ton of skin peeking through (and I prefer it that way).

I’m wearing the “A1 Ska Blue” but the darker “A Blue” is also great!  A lot of the other jeans on this link have material under the distressing, so make sure you realize that before you decide on what pair to order.

Okay, let’s talk sizing.  They aren’t sized like traditional jeans.  You choose from small, large, medium, large, and x-large.  I chose medium because I couldn’t imagine being the smallest size, but I think I could have actually gone for the small. This means that those of you that are typically under a 4 probably won’t be able to wear these jeans because even the smalls will be too big.  The reviews are mixed on these, but I like them!

This batwing cocoon cardigan is one of my very favorite Amazon finds over the last several years. I ordered it on a whim, and I didn’t even really love it when I took it out of the box. However, the moment I slipped it on I FELL IN LOVE.

It’s FABULOUS.

I’m wearing the “dark khaki” here, but think it’s more of a dark and rich brown. The forearms are ribbed and fitted, it’s a batwing sleeve, and it’s a cocoon fit. It’s fitted more around the bottom, so it kind of just envelopes you. I think it’s awesome.

For those of you that like a relaxed and slightly boxy fit, this chunky ribbed cardigan is for you! This one comes in black, mushroom (what I’m wearing), a creamy white, a dark mustard, teal, lavender, and butter. I think it looks like something you could get for over $100 at Banana Republic. There are a couple of reviews that mention it doesn’t wash up great, so I think I’ll be taking it to the dry cleaners.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

And here’s the same cardi in “olive oil”. It’s really hard to describe the color. It’s kind of a dark mustard, but it definitely leans green. Kinda like split pea soup. Haha! That sounds terrible, but I actually really like it. It’s a beautiful fall color. It’s fine unbuttoned, but I think it looks the cutest all buttoned up.

Okay! Get ready because it’s the batwing cocoon cardigan again! Before I was wearing it with a white tee, skinny jeans, and booties. Now I’m wearing it with my rust tee, straight leg jeans, and mules. I love both looks.

I think these leopard mules are the perfect choice for this outfit. Comfy and true to size!

Another great fall outfit combo. How pretty is the camel with the rust?

This is a cardi that’s great for running around town, but it’s definitely nice enough for the office as well. I’ve had this one for a couple of years now, and it still looks awesome. It’s light weight, and it’s an open design that lays perfectly. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. This one comes in 21 colors, and most sizes and colors are under $30. It’s a great buy and a perfect closet basic.

And how awesome are these colors with my floral mules! It’s what fall dreams are made of y’all.

This rust cardigan is the type of staple that should be in everybody’s closet. It’s lightweight, it’s soft, and it’s a great layering piece. This particular cardi comes in TONS of colors, so I know there is something for everybody. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I think it’s becoming obvious that I’ve had great luck with Amazon cardis. They are soooo soft and they can be worn year-round. You’ve seen this crewneck cardigan before on me in both camel and black. It’s a really great cardigan. Totally classic and an incredible value at under $25. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This bat wing cardigan is very cocoon-ish, in like the best way possible. I’m wearing the “a-mocha”, but it comes in over 20 colors.  Most colors are on sale right now, making this a great deal! The forearms are definitely super fitted, so if you don’t like tight things on your arms, beware. The tightness doesn’t bother me, and I like the way it makes the cardi look. This is listed as a chunky knit open cardigan, but I think it’s a popcorn knit. It’s a boyfriend fit, covers the bum, and is soft and stretchy with quite a bit of give. I’m wearing a small for a close fit, but I think I might prefer the more relaxed fit of the medium.

SWEATERS

I LOVE a short-sleeved sweater, and this puff sleeved one is DARLING. This link has v-neck options, crew neck options, and even square neck options! I’m wearing the C-beige, and while I’m definitely keeping this one because I think it’s the perfect neutral, I’m also going to get a bold color. I’m thinking the bright pink! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I took this right out of the box because it arrived while I was doing my try on, so it hadn’t yet received the wrinkle spray treatment, but how great are these sleeves! The boxy pleats, the subtle puff, and the banded hem… I love it all so much! This sweater has excellent ratings.

Also super highly rated with over 1,000 5 star reviews, this half-zip pullover is FABULOUS. I’m wearing the “solid rust red”, but it comes in 17 color options! I also love the light khaki and the solid denim blue. I love this style of sweater and the relaxed fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think a small would do.

I love a ruffle detail, and this ruffle sweater is darling. THE RUFFLE DETAILS ARE DARLING. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in this one, but I think I need a small. This is the “solid pink”. It doesn’t look as dark as the one on the site, but I still really like it.

These next two sweaters are AWESOME.

This hooded pullover is fabulous and looks much more expensive than it is. It comes in 6 colors, all great for fall. I love it here in “caramel”, but totally think of it as more of a warm rust. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. Size up for a more generous fit.

And check out this batwing pullover! First of all, the ratings are EXCELLENT. Secondly, you won’t even believe how soft this sweater is. It’s stupid soft, crazy cozy, and DARLING. I have it pulled up at my waist here, but the next picture will show you that it’s actually tunic length.

JEANS

I’ve got 3 pairs of great jeans for you today, ALL FROM AMAZON!

You’ve seen this pair of jeans before. These “light blue” jeans (definitely more of a medium wash) are stretchy, flattering, totally comfy, and ON SALE! They do have some distressing, but there are no open holes, which I like. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but most size down if between sizes. I do wish these were shorter on me (I’m 5’4″ with long legs for my height). As you can see below, I have them cuffed a couple of inches in order to be the perfect ankle length on me. I’m actually considering cutting these off at ankle length for a frayed hem. p.s. They have the Ab-Solution technology we all know and love!

The site calls these “vintage skinny jeans”, but I think they are a straight leg for sure. I would actually describe them as a slim straight leg, which I love. You get the benefit of the very “in” straight leg silhouette, but you still get the flattering vibes of a skinny jean. These are the “light blue vintage”, and the light wash is super on trend, even for fall. They’ve got Ab-Solution technology too, so you know they are both comfy and flattering as all get out. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

These jeans are a great light-medium wash that is totally on trend. I originally recommended them early this year, and I’ve received tons of feedback (at least 50 comments or e-mails!) from y’all letting me know that you ordered the jeans and love them too. They aren’t normal jean sizing, but at a regular 27 or sometimes 28 (depending on the jean brand), I ordered the medium. They have some serious stretch to them, so I think a small would have been fine, but I’m good with the fit of the mediums. They’re roomy, but I like that I have a slouchy pair of jeans.

My exact pair is the “36 sky blue”. As you can see online, they have a really jagged hem, but since I cuff mine up, you can’t see that hem.

I really like these jeans, and at under $40 they are an incredible buy. They’re obviously VERY distressed, so you won’t be wearing them to the office or anything. Haha!

TEES AND A FLEECE

This sassy leopard twist sleeve tee is so fun for fall. The pattern, the sleeves, the fit…it’s all fun! I’m wearing it with light denim here, but I know it will look really sharp with black denim too. If you’re not a leopard girl, not to worry, it comes in several solid colors as well. I’ve always thought that mules are the perfect shoe to help transition you into fall.

This floral pattern spoke to me. These are so cute with sweaters and jeans! Or with black work pants! This is a great little shoe that really makes a statement. Comfy and true to size.

These are from the same maker, but in a classic leopard (these are officially called “e-leopard). The reviews on these mules are excellent, and they’re an awesome deal at under $40. Comfy and true to size.

These are very similar to Sam Edelman mules, but this price is definitely better. I love the chunky gold chain and the style they will bring to outfits. Comfy and true to size.

I also love the tweed with the gold chain and the cognac color with the monochromatic chain.

Click HERE for the chunky booties seen below. These are from last year and I loved them and wore them constantly. Mine are the “light brown”, but there are several other very similar neutrals to choose from as well as white, cognac, black, snakeskin and others. The block heel, the pointy toe, and the deep cut out on the side all look awesome. They zip up the back, so they are very easy to get off and on. And listen, I clicked around, and all sizes and colors appear to be UNDER $50. What a deal! There’s a super similar pair available at Nordstrom right now, so these are a great more affordable option.

I think these are quite comfy and they are true to size for me. If you are often between sizes, I think I would recommend going down 1/2 a size.

This is some jewelry that I reach for all the time.

I’ve had everything you see here for over a year and the pieces look great with everything.

I bought a pair of neutral wedge sneakers that I absolutely loved several years ago, and it appears they are still well stocked! I find that I love throwing on a wedge sneaker with a lot of my casual fall outfits. They’re a step up from a pair of regular sneakers, but they are obviously more casual than a typical bootie.

These wedge sneakers are an incredible deal. All colors available are under $35, and many are under $30 right now. The ones I have are the “taupe”, and I like the perforations on the side and the band across the top. The fit is really cute and they are super comfy. True to size for me.

And these mesh sneakers are freaking fantastic.  Mine are the “apricot”, but I think they are more of a nice neutral taupe with maybe a hint of blush. True to size for me.

These sneakers are like no other sneakers I’ve ever had. They almost feel like a thick and tight sock when wearing them, but they are obviously shoes because of the soles and the tread on the bottom. I talked about these a lot last year, and tons of you purchased them. One reader said she “wore them all over Europe with no pain” and another said that she “pops them in the washing machine and they come out perfectly”. Another said that she wears them without socks “but they never get stinky like her Converse“. All really good information, right?

They come in TONS of colors and go on easily with just a little tug on the tabs in the back.

They have THOUSANDS of 5 Star Reviews, and the price point is $38.99.  INCREDIBLE.

Check out this leopard weekender bag! I had a reader recommend this to me a couple of years ago. AND Y’ALL, it’s awesome. It’s definitely roomy enough to pack yourself up for a weekend away, but it’s not too big that once full it’s too hard to carry. The strap is cushy and comfortable on your shoulder, and I love that it has a separate compartment for shoes on the bottom. It’s a FABULOUS value at just under $45. I’ve taken this on countless trips and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
