NEW SUMMER FINDS

I’m so excited about this neutral henley sweater. Now, the site shows it without a cami under it, but you can see here that it’s a very open weave so I will definitely be wearing a cami. I’m wearing a medium, and it’s a perfectly relaxed fit. I love it with these denim shorts, but you’ll see it styled a couple of different ways later in the post.

These denim shorts are good, y’all. They are a button up fly, which I don’t normally love, but I really love these shorts. I like how they are very comfy, but not too short. They have a frayed hem (I cut off some of the long and straggly pieces), but they shorts are not distressed. Most reviewers say to size down, but I ordered my regular size and like the really relaxed fit.

This block print top is such a unique color combination, and I love the mixed prints. It has a relaxed fit (can be worn tucked or out) and has a longer sleeve which y’all know I love. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If you don’t have a large chest, I think you could probably size down.

At our next retailer that’s not a sale going on, but the pieces are fantastic. This red and pink floral dress caught my eye immediately. It’s one of my favorite color combos, the pattern is whimsical, and I love the flowy fit. Also notice the little ruffle on the sleeves and the flirty dropped waist skirt. It’s a really great dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I could do a small in this one so definitely consider sizing down (especially if between sizes).

Okay, so I have yet another dress that I’m totally and completely smitten with. This floral shirt dress is one that gives me $240 Tuckernuck vibes, but it’s Under $100! In fact, it’s only $88! It’s got a banded collar, a v-neckline, a belted waist, and it’s fully lined. It’s beautifully made and looks like a much more expensive dress than it actually is. This is on the shorter side (which y’all know I happen to like), but if you’re above 5’8″ or so, I’m not sure if it will work for you. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Are you interested in a top with some real WOW factor? This blue striped embroidered top might be for you. The background is a tiny little blue pinstripe, the sleeves are embroidered with gorgeous and colorful flowers, and you can see the neck and the bodice have a colorblock stripe. The collar is smocked, and there’s elastic on the bottom of the sleeves. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. Imagine how great this would look with white wide leg jeans!

These denim shorts ARE SO GOOD. They have a 6″ inseam, so they provide a good amount of length, but I don’t feel matronly in them at all! I just feel covered, but cute. Basically, I still feel like a cool and hip mom, while managing to stay totally age appropriate. They are slim cut which makes them flattering, but I love the roominess of the leg opening. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but I would suggest sizing down if between sizes because they are definitely roomy.

If you like really blousy and voluminous sleeves, this blue embroidered top is for you. I love the colors and the patterns and the general shape, but I have broad shoulders as it is and sleeves that are this voluminous tend to make me look and feel bigger than I want to. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

St. Tropez Sets

I can hardly believe this myself, but I’m going to talk about the super popular St. Tropez shorts once again because there are several colors that are NOW 30% OFF.

Do you remember these shorts? I’m still wearing them and still loving them. (This outfit is actually full of favorites – the sweater, necklace, shorts, and sandals all made May’s Top 12 list!) You’ve seen all of these pieces separately, but this is the first time you’re seeing them in an outfit all together.

The linen pull-on shorts are obviously incredibly comfortable with a wide elastic waistband. They have almost 760 reviews with an average rating of 4.6 STARS. I grabbed them in a medium, but I’m exchanging them for a small. They were just a little too roomy for my liking, and I think the smalls are still going to be a relaxed fit (which I want).

The sweater is a perfect staple for everybody to have at least 1 in their closet (and it’s ON SALE too). It’s great for spring, but since it’s super lightweight, you’ll also find it’s good all the way thru summer. I will say that the sizing does seem a bit inconsistent, but that’s okay. I have a medium in all 3 colors, but the white one seems a bit bigger than the others. I would say to consider sizing down if between sizes.

Here it is in real life! Sadly, this scalloped version of the shorts aren’t on sale, but the blouse is!

This linen set is definitely expensive, but my goodness it is OH SO CHIC. The eyelet pattern is gorgeous, and I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the scallops on the blouse and the shorts. I’m wearing a medium in the top and a small in the shorts.

If you wanted the set to look a bit dressier, you could wear it without the neutral cami at all and show some skin. Now that’s not for me, but maybe that’s for you! 😉 You could also of course pair this outfit with a black cami instead.

SALE ALERT

This embroidered shift dress is a really great red with really fun embroidery, and right now it’s 30% OFF! It’s 100% cotton and y’all know I love the shift fit, but there are several details that make it really special. The square neckline is very unique, and the geometric cut outs and embroidered flowers make it really stand out. It has a hidden zipper, but I was able to just slip this one over my head (which I prefer).

It is lined underneath in the same red colorway, so there’s no need to wear a slip. I’m wearing a small here, but I actually think a medium might be a better fit. It looks a bit roomier on the model, and I think I might like it better that way.
