GIRLFRIEND JEANS BACK IN STOCK

LADIES!!!!  The girlfriend jeans are BACK IN STOCK!  When I first posted about them, they were gone in a flash.  And if you’re a loyal follower you know that they already received 1 restock, and they sold out SO FAST again.  So many of y’all were super disappointed, so I’m really happy to say that THEY’RE BACK BABY!  Now listen, I’m imagining this is it for these jeans, so you better move fast before they are gone forever.

These girlfriend jeans are super stretchy, soft as can be, crazy comfy, and I love the new vibe for those of you that want to add a non-skinny jean option to your closet.  (Listen, I’ve tried the mom jeans, and they ARE NOT FOR ME.)

When looking for a great pair of non skinny jeans, I tried on several pairs from several different brands.

OMG.

Y’all.

There is NO DOUBT that Wit and Wisdom is my brand.  Let’s be honest, I’ve low key known this for awhile, BUT NOW IT’S BEEN OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED. To be honest, I feel like I looked ridiculous in the other brands and styles that I tried, and I was so happy to slip back into my jeans with all the stretch and the Ab Solution technology.  I mean, life is too short to wear jeans without stretch in them.

I. LOVE. THESE. JEANS.

They aren’t skinny jeans, but they aren’t sloppy or baggy either.  Just a nice relaxed fit.  I’m wearing a 4 here (which is my regular size).  I think a 2 would fit, but I know they are supposed to be a slouchy and relaxed look, so I’m just going to keep the 4s and embrace this new relaxed style! (If you size down often, you might want to go ahead and size down in this pair.)

I’ve been wearing these jeans a lot.  Like, A LOT.

Here I am wearing them with just a basic crew neck tee and some sneakers.  I’m wearing a medium in the tee, size down a 1/2 in the sneakers.

This is the outfit I wore just yesterday!  It’s hard to see what the sweatshirt says, but it says “hibernating”, which is totally appropriate for my life right now.  Ha!  It’s a lightweight sweatshirt that’s very soft on the inside, and now it’s ON SALE!  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Here are some other outfits with the jeans that you’ve already seen, just to show how versatile they are!

The oversized pullover sweater is a new Amazon find.  I’m wearing the small/medium and love the slouchy fit. It’s soooooo soft and comes in 3 additional colors including camel and rose.  This is a great find, y’all.  It’s the perfect weight for Spring.  It looks great worn out or in a half tuck.

In the outfit above with the wedges, I have the jeans cuffed up once.  In the outfit below with the sneakers, I have them cuffed up twice.  I think they look great both ways. And please take notice of my $25 camo sneakers!

This crewneck pullover is everything I hoped it would be.  First of all, it’s the most beautiful and perfect shade of Kelly green. I buy everything I can get my hands on in this color. In addition to the gorgeous color, it’s soft and exactly the relaxed fit I was looking for.  It is on the shorter side, so if you have a super long torso, it might not work for you.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.  It comes in 10 color choices, so there’s something for everybody.

CAMO PANTS

I showed y’all these these camo pants on Monday’s post in a couple of different flat lays.  I wanted y’all to see that they are versatile and can be thought of as a neutral.

And today you get to see the pants on me in 3 different outfits.

For this first outfit, I paired the pants with a simple ruffle tee.  I think this is such a cute combo!  The tee is definitely on the thin side, but if you wear a nude bra, you’ll be good.  I’m wearing a medium in the tee.

The camo pants are awesome.  They are stretchy, comfy, and have the Ab Solution power mesh panels that I absolutely swear by.  They hit me right at the ankle and have cute little side slits. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.  If you are often between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.

You’ll see a close up of the embellished slide sandals later in the post so you can get a better look at them. They are comfy and adorable.  I’m normally a 6 1/2, sometimes a 6, and the 6 1/2s are good for me….but I do think they run a bit on the small side and would definitely consider sizing up a 1/2 size.

Styling the pants with a grey tee and the best denim jacket was a no brainer for me.   For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in both the tee and the jacket.  And great news, the jacket is 40% OFF right now!

MOVIE FUN

For the first time in over a year, we went to the movies!  We saw Tom and Jerry at The Movie House and Eatery and had the best time.  Going to The Movie House is one of Carter’s favorite things to do (we used to go at least once a month), the movie was cute, and it just felt so nice to be doing something normal with friends.  They had the theatre spaced out so we were 6 feet apart from other movie goers, and we felt super safe the entire time.

SANDAL REVIEW

The most worn sandals in my closet each year are cognac colored sandals, so every year I like to find current cognac colored sandals as options for y’all (and for me)!

This year I ordered 3 different pairs from Sam Edelman.  I LOVE Sam Edelman sandals.  I’ve had great luck with them over the last several years, and although I was willing to try other brands, these were my 3 favorite pair I found when shopping online.

I already owned the cut out slide sandals from last year, and they are back again this year and still a great option. This year I grabbed the embellished slide sandals for myself because I love the woven band and the tiny gold studs.  All 4 pairs highlighted below are great.  The buckle slide sandals look a bit more dressy to me, and the simple slide sandals are just that…super simple (and casual).

I think that the cut out slide sandals from last year run true to size, but I think the other three run a tad small and think that most people will need to size up a 1/2.  I think they also run on the narrower side (which I like), but if you have a wide foot these might be too narrow for you.

Last year I also added a pair of nude sandals to my closet and found that I really loved having them in rotation as well!  They look great with a tan, and I found that sometimes the dark brown is too heavy for an outfit, but a neutral sandal is perfect.  Here are 3 great options, although a couple of them seem to be going in and out of stock.  Boo!

These studded sandals are another pair of more neutral sandals I added to my closet last year.  But they were NEUTRAL WITH SASS.  I’ll be wearing the heck out of them this year too.  They no longer have them on the Nordstrom website, but you can still find them HERE.

I don’t usually love a strap across my ankle in a flat sandal because I feel like it cuts me off and makes my legs look short, but that’s not an issue with these at all because of the neutral color!  They have a cushioned sole, are true to size for me, and are quite comfortable which is an absolutely MUST for me in a shoe.  It seems from reading the reviews that if you have a wider foot, you might consider ordering up a 1/2 size.

They are different than any sandals I’ve ever owned, AND I LOVE THEM.  They’ve added some fun to my wardrobe, and I’ve been getting complimented on them like crazy. I can’t wait to keep styling them.

I couldn’t mention all of these neutral sandals without mentioning the studded espadrille wedges I snagged this year.  They are no longer at Nordstrom, but you can find them HERE.

If it were up to me, I would put them in all of your carts right now.  I feel like they are going to be THE hot shoes this Spring and Summer, but I’m afraid they’ll be sold out long before then (and like I said, they are already sold out at Nordstrom).

You should just get ’em while the gettin’ is good.

You’ll probably remember that last year I got the flat studded sandals and ADORED them, so I was thrilled when I saw that they came out with a wedge version this year. I got the tan and ordered my regular size, but the clear sure are cute too.

These are pretty tall at 4″, but they don’t feel nearly that high.  They are actually pretty dang comfortable and I was able to walk around my house with ease.  And come on, they are HOT.

And I wanted to also include one more sandal option for y’all today, although it’s neither cognac nor neutral.  BUT IT SURE IS SPARKLY.  These sparkly sandals have a padded foot bed and a tiny little wedge.

EMBROIDERED STRAP

So y’all saw this strap on the black bag in some of the first pics on today’s post.  The bag and strap combo is from Anthro and I love it.  But I also have found myself detaching the strap and putting it on my LV!  This was me running to the doctor the other day for a check up. I tell ya, this whole mask thing has gotten me reallllllly used to not wearing makeup in public.

AMAZON BRAS I LOVE

I don’t think I’ve ever talked to y’all about these bras because they sold out before they ever even arrived to me, which is too bad, because I immediately fell in love with them. I bought them probably over a year ago after hearing another blogger talk about them, although now I can’t remember who turned me on to them.  WELL, this is the first time I’ve seen them available again!

The prices vary by size and color (as they often do on Amazon), but some 2 packs are ONLY $12.99 right now!  They are super comfortable, and I love wearing them around the house.  They aren’t padded or even lined, so I really just wear these around the house, but I love the comfy support they give.
