AMAZON DRAWSTRING SHORTS

So I found a pair of shorts on Amazon, and I’m super excited about them.  More on the shorts in a second because I want to talk first about this puff sleeve dot sweater.  The color is beautiful (I’m wearing “pink”) and the little dots are adorable.  It’s got a really subtle puff sleeve and fits great.  I haven’t laundered it yet, so I can’t comment on that.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I ordered these drawstring shorts on a whim, and I was totally surprised by them in the best way.  I ordered both a small and a medium to compare the fits, but the small hasn’t arrived yet.  I’m in the medium here, and I like the fit, but they are definitely roomy.  They are so comfy (not stiff at all), they’ve got pockets, and I think they are just a great casual look!  And they’re not linen, but the totally look like linen WITHOUT the wrinkles that often come with linen.

I wanted to show you several different ways to style the shorts, so here they are with the cheetah tee I first showed y’all back in the fall.   I’m wearing a medium in the tee.

The shorts are great with just a regular ol’ tee as well.  But dang, I should have used my Fake Bake.

These turquoise earrings became fast favorites for me. They are teeny tiny, and although there’s just 1 post, there’s 2 little studs.  They are so fun to wear, a little bit edgy, and I’ve received so many compliments on them. When you wear them horizontally, it even kind of looks like there are 2 studs in separate holes.  They’re awesome.  The layered necklace is great too.

MUSCLE TANK

I highlighted this muscle tank in the Under $40  Summer Favorites collage earlier this week.  And it’s not just Under $40, it’s actually just under $20!  I have plenty of short sleeve Caslon tees, but this is the first sleeveless tee I’ve purchased from the brand.  It comes in several stripes, lots of solids, and even camo.  It will be great with both denim and white shorts, as well as jeans.  I’m wearing the medium here, but I definitely need a small.  It’s quite wide and baggy, I just have it tucked up here so you can’t tell.

PINK TEE

This pink eyelet tee is adorable.  It’s very lightweight, the eyelet is darling, and I love the relaxed feel with the long ties. It also comes in white, blue, and black.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.  I ordered a small at first, and it was a little tight across the chest and a tiny bit short.  I definitely prefer the fit of the medium on me.
