Y’all. The weather in my neck of the woods has me confused.
It’s a high of 32 one day and then 72 the next. 40 degree swings are hard. And because of this, it’s difficult to know what to put on each morning this time of year. Booties? Converse? A sweater? A tee? IT’S ALMOST TOO MUCH.
But I’ll tell you what I do know…I am dreaming of Spring! I’m craving pretty colors, flirty accessories, and all the happy clothes.
So I did what I do, and I started scouring internet land for inspiration. I wanted to be able to grab some items that would have me ready for the change in seasons, and I found a handful of items that I’m loving. Several of the items can be worn now (I have trouble with delayed gratification), and they will be absolutely perfect once the weather starts warming up. The pieces are bright and happy, and they will add a lot of joy to our wardrobes.
And GREAT NEWS! As part of my role as Kendra Scott brand ambassador, they gave me a 20% OFF code to pass on to y’all! Use the code SHEAFFER20 to get 20% OFF (and FREE SHIPPING) on your Kendra order right now!

- colorful wrap bracelet – This colorful double wrap bracelet (with a magnetic closure) is made up of a festive rainbow of beads and tiny pyramid studs. Great on it’s own and for stacking. Give me all the bright colors! {sheaffer20 will get you 20% OFF!}
- coral wedges – These coral wedges look designer to me, but they are a fantastic deal at just under $60. If you aren’t into the coral, they also come in black and neutral. Reviewers are saying they run a tad small, so consider sizing up a 1/2.
- hot pink earrings – I love hot pink with gold, and I love the pop of bold color all the “gold berry illusion” pieces from Kendra Scott would lend to your look! {sheaffer20 will get you 20% OFF!}
- hoop earrings – These hoops are large, super light, and made up of so many colors that they will go with just about anything! But really, THEY ARE BIG. If you love a big earring, you will die over these! {sheaffer20 will get you 20% OFF!}
- foldover clutch – Y’all know I love a great clutch. This one comes in black too, but I was immediately drawn to this pretty blush. I love that it has a snap closure and two zippered pockets. It’s totally chic, a great year round piece, and the leopard lining is a total bonus. I really love it when bags are lined with a great fabric!
- driving loafer – I got these last year and loved the preppy vibe they gave my outfits. And my word are they comfy. Great arch support, and I can be on my feet in them all day.
- Colleen Rothschild body bundle – This Tahitian Manoi body bundle is Colleen Rothschild’s newest launch and OH MY WORD. This bundle includes a creamy oil body wash, a body scrub, and a body butter. All 3 products are full size and a $106 value, but the introductory price for this bundle is $79! Hop over to the site to read about these products, but be prepared to have to have them after you do. My bundle arrived yesterday, and I’m in love. I love the smell (I’m very picky about scents) and my gosh all of the products are so hydrating!
- basket weave tote – I ordered this in white on a total whim, and I love it so much. The chunky basket weave is a totally modern take on a classic tote shape, and it’s a nod to the designer Bottega pieces with the woven designs.
- leopard dress – The button up shirt version of this dress is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. The dress looks FABULOUS. It’s a crisp cotton poplin with a grosgrain tie at the waist.
- pink and red tie dye sweater – I always love pink and red together, and tie dye is so hot right now! This sweater went 40% OFF yesterday, so it’s now ONLY $26.98!
- popover (blue classic stripe) – 100% cotton and 100% DARLING. It comes in several colors, and I love the casual vibe. It will be great with blue jeans, white jeans, and denim shorts. This will be a wardrobe staple for sure. And it’s from Amazon!
- color block sweater – This adorable color block sweater is also 100% cotton. The white, blue, and yellow color combination is so fresh and happy! Also from Amazon.
- cable cardigan –
It’s cute. And I love this color.UPDATE WEDNESDAY AT 1:30: This sweater arrived on my doorstep today, and although super cute, I can no longer recommend it. I tried it on, and it already snagged with a bracelet that shouldn’t have snagged it. So sorry! This cardigan came in as well and is darling! - light wash high waist crop jeans –
I’ve been wanting to add a pair of really light wash jeans to my closet for Spring. I’d already tried several, but none of them worked. Most of them were too skinny, but I wanted a casual and relaxed pair and these are perfect! True to size for me, but definitely size down if between sizes.UPDATE WEDNESDAY AT 1:30: Okay, so I’m going back on this recommendation too. I tried these on before recommending them and loved the fit, the length, and the wash. However, when I started trying to put together outfits with them today for Friday’s post, I realized that the wash across the zipper was way too dark and way too distracting. It’s possible that the jeans might vary a bit between pairs, but on my pair the dark area cannot be overlooked. Again, so sorry!

- ABC is trying to KILL ME DEAD. Please listen to me when I say this. I just about died when I found out that Monday’s episode was going to be 3 hours. I had heart palpitations and had to regulate my breathing. AND THEN THEY SPRUNG IT ON ME THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE A 2nd TWO HOUR EPISODE ON WEDNESDAY. I almost stroked out. That’s 5 HOURS. It almost feels irresponsible to commit to this much Bachelor in 1 week. BUT HERE WE GO.
- I want to sum up the Alayah drama for everybody: Peter sent her home. She came back. He gave her a rose when she wasn’t even technically on the date. And then he sent her home again. Before the rose ceremony. But don’t worry, I’m sure it’s just goodbye for now. #seeyouinparadiseAlayah
- MyKenna and her barrette got a rose. I feel like it should have counted as 2 roses. Because that barrette was AGGRESSIVE.
- Peter and his remaining 12 women headed to Costa Rica. Upon their arrival they squealed, they jumped on beds, and they danced in small groups in showers (fully clothed without the water on). AS ONE DOES.
- The group date was a swimsuit photo shoot for Cosmo. FOR REAL. I mean, that could be my worst nightmare. I would feel like Celeste Barber on that date. If you know, you know. And if you don’t know, you need to go ahead and give her a follow on instagram. You’re welcome.
- About an hour or so into the episode, I kept thinking that we have ALL been Tammy before, because we all had a friend at some point like Kelsey in college. Kelsey is the friend that always drank too much, always cried too much, and always fell in love with the guy too hard.
- Peter told Kelsey that somebody had said she was emotionally unstable. So she went straight to the group and asked who might have said this. It’s worth noting that while asking this, she appeared EXTREMELY EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE.
- Kelley got the last 1:1. She is beautiful and drama free, but I questioned both her interest in Peter and her ability to choose her own wardrobe. The red and white striped capri pants with the black cropped tank and the moccasin sandals were all an interesting choice.
- At this point, we were 2 hours into the show. BUT IT FELT LIKE 12. FOR REAL. How in the world was I going to get through another hour? AND THEN KELLEY BROUGHT IT. She told Peter that she wondered that if HE was there for the right reasons because he had been AND I QUOTE REWARDING THE DRAMA. I MEAN! Look at Kelley! Dropping truth bombs! And getting a rose for it. I was there for it, and so was Peter.
- Kelsey was determined to set the record straight with Peter. So she put on a full face of make-up and her Daisy Dukes. Again, AS ONE DOES. And y’all. He bought it. Hook, line, and sinker. AND YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT. He pulled a rose out of his back pocket and GAVE IT TO KELSEY. That’s right, ladies…he gave a rose to a girl that he wasn’t even on a date with. PETER. HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING??? He better keep his head on a swivel.
- MyKenna’s tongue was something else. Seriously. It was next level. It’s like it had a mind of it’s own. A psychotic and super sexy mind of it’s own.
12. JUSTICE FOR LEXI.
That’s all for today y’all! Look for Part II on Friday’s post!
