What 3 Things I’m Obsessed With AND my FAV Crock Pot Recipe

First of all, if you are a follower, you might have seen a picture on your blog reader late last night with no post attached to it.
That’s because I’m a big ol’ ding dong.
I started writing a post for next week, and then I hit “publish” instead of “save”.
Doh!
Not cool.
Anyway…that post will actually hit news stands on Monday. It’s actually one I’m really excited about because it involves another blogger!  A blogger that you are going to LOVE (if you don’t already).
So, stay tuned!

One other housekeeping item, I saw this morning that Kelly over at Kelly’s Korner  was hosting a CROCKPOTALOOZA!
I ADORE cooking in the crock pot, so I couldn’t resist linking up at the last minute!
Nothing makes me feel like a better wife and mom than walking in the door and smelling some type of heavenly scent in the house and knowing that dinner is ready!
One of my fav recipes comes from one of my besties, Shay over at Mix and Match Mama.
Here are her Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings.

It’s basically Chicken and Dumplings with all of the bells and whistles, but not all the muss and fuss.

Okay….so I had soooo much fun reading everybody’s comments on yesterday’s post!
Although, I must say that I did have a favorite.
Yesterday I talked about this cat and what looks like a pair of sad little boobs on her.
My friend Alli wrote, “that poor cat, I so relate”.

So…..now that you’ve hopefully had a little laugh too…..on to my current obsessions!

If you’ve been reading for several weeks, you know I’m a huge fan of NARS lip gloss, specifically the Sweet Dreams lip gloss.  You can read what I think about it here.

Well, thanks to my little sister,  I am now cuckoo for a NARS velvet matte lip pencil.

 My sister, Conner, is the one on the left.

I totally hijacked this picture off of her facebook page, hope she doesn’t mind.
(If I had arms like that, you could rent a billboard in Times Square, plaster me on it,
and I wouldn’t mind.)

She’s really the fashionista of the family.

But…to be fair, when you’re like a 00…you can shop designer brands at the end of the season and buy things for like 80% off.  I mean, come on, who in the world is a double 00.
{Just remembered a funny story, when she was getting ready to go off to college her freshman year, we were all over at my parent’s house helping her load up her car.  Chris (my hubby) was taking some of her hanging clothes to the car, and he held up a LaCoste shirt she had hanging on a baby hanger.}
NO LIE.
It seriously looked like it would fit a 3 year old.

Anyway, we were out of town together this weekend, and I saw this little NARS stick in her make-up bag.  I of course had to try it.

“LOVE” doesn’t seem to adequately describe the feelings I have for this product.

When I wore it at the ranch I absolutely became a believer.

It stays on like a lip pencil would, but it’s not drying like a lip pencil is.

In short, it is some amazing hybrid combination that is AWESOME.

You’ll see why.  And you will probably become obsessed yourself.
