Y’all.
Listen. Up.
This is like a Public Service Announcement.
I’m doing important things over here at Pinterest Told Me To.
I pinned this yesterday, and it is some good stuff.
Jump over to this blog if you want to see where the tutorial originated.
Basically, it’s just a super simple way to tie a scarf.
A super simple trick that makes a regular old scarf…even this plain grey one…..
look like it’s something special.
I actually think this kind of tie is best suited for a solid color scarf, because you can see the detail of the loops and knots.
It was SO easy. The key is definitely step #4 where you twist the loop.
That’s when the magic happens.
Check it out.
There is no denying that the girl who wears her scarf tied like this really has everything figured out and looks TOTALLY put together at all times.
But I’m going to let you in on a little secret.
I’m sans make-up as well as sans pants in this picture,
and I’m wearing a Cayman’s t-shirt I got on vacation around 10 years ago.
(It is sooo soft and one of my favorite sleeping shirts. I started wearing it several years ago after Chris rolled over one night and said, “Maybe you stop wearing the Vote for Pedro t-shirt to bed?” Will do babe. Will do.
I’m pretty sure another t-shirt wasn’t what he had in mind. Baby steps.)
Okay…back to the scarf tutorial…
even without my pants,
I feel like I could still walk out the door and run around town because the way this scarf is tied just makes me feel like I have it all together.
(I’ve actually had that dream before. I get to the grocery store, and I’m casually walking through the produce section when I suddenly realize I left my pants at home. Have you ever had that dream?)
And…..
as long as we’re sharing….
I’ll go ahead and tell you that I actually did leave the house one time without my pants.
Sure, it was just to the mailbox, but I literally was walking back up to the house before it even dawned on me that I had forgotten my drawers.
Shameful.
2)
I am obsessed with all things Fossil right now.
The more I look at this watch, the deeper in love I fall.
This might just be the prettiest thing I’ve seen in awhile.
Go ahead and take an appropriate amount of time to swoon.
Hubba Hubba.
Yes. I think I need this.
Ooooooooh. My friend Kasey texted me this pic this morning of her with my friends Carrie and Jill a couple of weekends ago at their girl’s weekend. First of all, look how cute my friends are. Second, check out Carrie’s black bubble necklace on her hot pink shirt. I am totally digging that combo.

Is it weird that I am obsessed with everything you're obsessed with!? Minus the Mc Donald's drink…but that is only because I haven't tried it yet, so by then end of the day we could be obsessed with the exact. same. things. And I got that LOFT email too…looks like it is going to be a good Friday!

I always have fun reading through people's lists like this. Yours oozes of personality, which is a huge plus. (: Looks like you've got a killer collection of things on the horizon! (Digging the color of that coat.) Scarves, accessories, coats, smoothies. Perfection.
