I’ve got lots of random stuff to share with you today, and I’m super excited about all of it! We’re talking everything from one of our favorite SUPER EASY dinners, to a HUGE SALE on some favorite pieces, to a hot pink jogger set, to a Bible. Yep, a whole lot of THIS and THAT today!

AMAZON TOP 5
I had tons of really awesome Amazon finds that I was so pumped to share with y’all last month. And since y’all always love knowing the reader favorites, I’m going to share the TOP 5 today!
5) This little dress was hugely popular with y’all. I’ve received tons of “I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS DRESS!” e-mails. I KNOW. I CAN’T HARDLY BELIEVE IT EITHER. It’s so affordable, and I absolutely love that it can be worn 3 ways. Click HERE to see the black option on me and a blush animal pattern as well. This dress could be worn with sandals to a brunch with friends, you could pair it with pumps for the office, and if you styled it right you could even wear it to a much more formal affair! #versatile
4) This feminine and flirty blouse looks great worn casually with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough for the office as well. Click HERE to see it on me with regular denim, with black jeans, and with black pants for the office. Many of you said you wouldn’t have given this blouse a 2nd look on the Amazon site, but after seeing it styled, you’re glad you made the purchase! Yay!
3) This 2 pack of tees is an incredible value. You can click HERE to see me in the leopard tee and the black tee. I also have the hot pink tee in the 2 pack with the blue and white stripe. (These two packs are #16 on my Amazon All Time Favorites collage.)
2) This cardi is going to be in constant rotation in my wardrobe. It will be great to throw on with jeans and flats or booties all Fall and Winter long. You can click HERE to see me in both the blushy rust and the navy. It was y’alls #2 favorite, but I think it is my #1 favorite.
1) This perfect transitional sweater was at the tip top of your lists. It comes in TONS of great colors (I have the camel and a leopard pattern too from last year), but the gorgeous Kelly green I showed this month looks amazing with black denim, with blue denim, and it’s so fun to style it with leopard shoes or accessories! Click HERE to see me in the green sweater.
I spent a lot of time doing video try-ons of the Amazon hauls over the last couple of weeks, so if you haven’t seen them, I would love it if you would go check them out! Go to my instagram profile page, and you can find my Amazon Haul highlights right here (where all the hot pink arrows are pointing). You can see the clothes “in real life”, you can hear all I have to say about them, and then I put a swipe up either to the post or to the exact item so you can easily find the item.
I highlighted lots of great casual items in my Amazon Haul Part 1, I highlighted lots of great WORK WEAR items in my Amazon Haul Part 2, and I highlighted what I think have been the best of the best Amazon items over the last 18 months. If you missed any of them, go check them out now!

JOGGER SET
I already showed you this hooded sweatshirt with grey joggers. I loved those pieces so much, I decided I wanted to order the pink joggers too so I could have a matching set.
Y’all know I love a great sweatshirt and have tons to choose from, but this is one of my warmer options. I grabbed the pretty blue too and know they’ll both be in steady rotation.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the hooded sweatshirt and a small in the joggers. I wanted to make sure the sweatshirt had a relaxed fit, and it totally does.
If you aren’t a fan of the the head to toe pink, remember that you can mix and match with a different color pair of pants!

And just a reminder, I’ll be pairing the hoodie with denim shorts and jeans as well!

HUDDLE GROUP
Last week Carter started attending a Huddle Group with a bunch of 6th grade boys, and we are so excited about it! A family from our school (Shout Out, Harris family!) goes to a different church than we do, and their church decided to do these break out groups (they are calling them “Huddle Groups”) with kids that are doing life together. The groups are hosted in homes, and I’m thrilled that the Harris family volunteered to run one.
They will meet weekly, have fellowship, and hear and talk about lessons from the Bible. The first meeting was last week, and Carter had the best time.
Before heading out the door last week, we couldn’t find his Bible, so he took one of my childhood Bibles with him. We still can’t find his, so I grabbed this Bible for him and it was delivered yesterday. It’s awesome. It’s thin and light, but the font is still easy to read! The “leather” cover is very soft and flexible, and even though Carter loves the look of it, I feel like this Bible is great for everybody. It looks a tiny bit masculine, but it definitely doesn’t look juvenile. It’s actually a very pretty Bible.
Although I ordered it at first thinking it would just be what he used until we found his other one, this will now be Carter’s “official” Bible. He’s really excited about it.
These are some of his other books and devotionals we love and recommend. We’ve been reading out of The Jesus Storybook Bible since he was 2, but we still enjoy it!

ONE POT DINNER
I don’t know if your families are the same, but we are creatures of habit over here. We have favorite meals that we cook over and over and over again. One of our favorites is a one pot shrimp boil dinner.
It’s crazy easy and super delicious.
Here’s how you make it: Boil a large pot of water, and then drop the different items in at different times. Start with the small potatoes because they take the longest time to become tender. Depending on their size, usually about 15 minutes is good. Next drop the corn in. This time we used fresh corn, but frozen works too. After the corn has been in about 10 minutes, it’s time for the sausage. We use turkey sausage and it’s already cooked, so it just needs to get hot. After the sausage has been in for about 5 minutes, drop the shrimp in. When the shrimp turns pink, the whole pot is ready!
Drain the pot, and then throw it all on a large platter. Sprinkle with Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning and some garlic powder, and serve with lemon wedges and butter. You could also throw white onion, lemon wedges, and garlic in the pot as well. We all LOVE this dinner, and I love that there’s only 1 pot to clean at the end!

DID YOU SEE MY STICK VACUUM POST?
Did you see my vacuum post on Monday? I did a VERY THOROUGH review of our new vacuum, and I let you in on a dirty little secret we have: we are constantly battling hair in our house. Thanks heavens for our new MOOSOO STICK VACUUM, because it makes managing the hair so much easier!
Over the last 2 days I’ve received several comments from readers letting me know that they already own and love a MOOSOO vacuum! I loved hearing their feedback and endorsement of the product as well.
This little fella does a great job helping us keep this place clean. And he MUCH PREFERS this vacuum to both the dust buster (it hurt his back to lean over) and our big vacuum (really big and awkward for him to control). This MOOSOO STICK VACUUM is so easy for him to just grab and go!
If you’re still on the fence about the vacuum, I encourage you to hop over to instastories to see the vacuum in action. Carter does a great job showing how he uses the vacuum and talking about why he loves it so much. Look on my highlights here where all of the purple arrows are pointing!
And if you are a dog lover, you really need to take a second to check out the post because it’s got sooooooooo many great pics throughout the years. And if you are new here and haven’t seen the post where I announced that we got them, you simply must go read it. Carter didn’t know we were getting two, so the post tells you how we told him (and even links to the video where he finds out)! I cry every single time I watch it. It’s seriously one of my very favorite memories of my entire life.

GIBSON SITE WIDE SALE
Gibson is having their 1st EVER SITE WIDE SALE, and it starts today! Ladies. EVERYTHING that you find on the site today is ON SALE, we’re talking 50-80% OFF! Here’s what you need to know: shipping is a flat $5, everything is final sale, and OHHHHEMMMMGEEEEE the deals are NEXT LEVEL. Click HERE to see all that they have to offer!
Let’s kick things off with this blazer! It sold out at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but you can get it on the Gibson site right now for 50% OFF!
I mean, HOW CUTE IS THIS OUTFIT.
It’s a STRETCHY BLAZER. WHICH IS GENIUS.
It’s got a whole lot of stretch in it, but it’s like a totally legit blazer. And because it’s got so much give, you aren’t uncomfortable and you don’t feel restricted wearing it like I always do with normal blazers.
stretchy blazer / basic tee /sunglasses / blingy hoop earrings / necklace / dark wash ankle jeans / neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
Here’s the second thing you need to know…it’s $50 RIGHT NOW! Hurry before it’s gone again. I’m so excited that everybody that missed out during the anniversary sale has another shot!
And notice how when you turn up the cuffs on this black one, there’s a little pinstripe lining inside. Such a fabulous detail! I’m wearing a medium here because I have boobs and my rib cage and shoulders are kind of broad too, but I think most of you will be totally good in your regular size.
If you are still working from home and doing Zoom meetings, throw this blazer over any tee and you’ll be Zoom ready and still comfy! If you work in an office, this jacket needs to go in your cart asap. I don’t work in an office, and I’m still thrilled to have it in my closet now.
I die over the pinstripe cuffs. DIE.
stretchy blazer / basic tee /sunglasses / blingy hoop earrings / necklace / dark wash ankle jeans /neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
This next sale item is one of my favorite dresses OF ALL TIMES. It’s a color block pattern in a gorgeous pink and beautiful red. #yesplease The silhouette is incredibly flattering, it’s got an adorable little feminine ruffle at the neck, and the little bow at the waist is darling.
Oh, wait. One more thing. IT HAS POCKETS.
It’s made of a crisp cotton poplin, and I feel great in it.
AND IT’S 50% OFF, MAKING IT ONLY $42!!!! WOWZA!
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, which is true to size for me in a dress like this (because I need the room in the chest). It has a side zipper, but because of the elastic waist and the bit of stretch in the fabric, I’m able to just pull this one over my head. Unless you need extra room like me, I would suggest sizing down.
ruffle wrap dress / sunglasses / statement earrings / sea green necklace / dainty necklace / bracelet / similar wedges / white clutch several years old
I was absolutely thrilled when I put this on! I love it so much.
ruffle wrap dress / sunglasses / statement earrings / sea green necklace / dainty necklace / bracelet / similar wedges
I appreciate that there’s a little snap on the bust to guard against a wardrobe malfunction. And the cut is so flattering to the arms and shoulders.
ruffle wrap dress / sunglasses / statement earrings / bracelet
AND I MEAN! LOOK AT THE BOW!
I’m so happy to have this in my closet.
ruffle wrap dress / sunglasses / statement earrings / sea green necklace / dainty necklace / bracelet
And y’all. This embroidered tee is ON SALE for $15. WHAT THE WHAT. I have it in all of the colors and wear them all ALL THE TIME. It’s soft, I love the fit, and it’s just plain DARLING. I wear a small.
FIFTEEN DOLLARS!!!!!
embroidered tee /my favorite denim shorts / cognac tote / navy Shoreline Converse
I really love the light pink one too. Also $15!
And last but certainly not least, this jumpsuit is 50% OFF too! It’s DARLING, and it feels like I’m wearing pajamas. For size reference, I’m wearing a small and it’s still quite roomy. I would recommend sizing down.
It can be worn off or on the shoulder (see picture on site for how it looks on the shoulder) and I like it both ways. You could dress it down with flat sandals and a tote, or you could dress it up with wedges and bold jewelry! I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Click HERE to see all that they have to offer! It’s totally worth your time to browse around a bit yourself because there are some truly incredible deals that you can score right now. The are some amazing cozy bargains, some really great dresses and jumpsuits all for under $50 (some as low as $25), and there are quite a few UNDER $20 BARGAINS! I’m grabbing this cozy off the shoulder top for myself in grey for ONLY $19, this open front fleece cardi in grey leopard for ONLY $19 (will be so cute with both denim shorts and joggers with a white tee), and I love this cozy top in both the hot pink and the classic leopard!

The site wouldn’t let me grab images, but I’m really excited about this loose tunic sweatshirt from Old Navy. And this snow leopard sweatshirt with these snow leopard joggers are to die for.

This sweater is fabulous. I also grabbed this cardi.
***
How fun is this camo puff sleeved pullover?!?
And I’m so excited about this embroidered lace blouse. It’s special, and I can’t wait to wear it!

I love a LOFT package arriving today with this dress, this rainbow stitch sweater, and this striped tee.

I loved this post! And that black blazer on you is super cute!

Carter has the sweetest group of friends at his school/neighborhood!! I love that picture of them all huddled together!!
Julie says
Great post! You look gorgeous in that ruffle wrap dress! On a mission to convince hubby that we need the stick vac, soon!! Is there a crevice tool included with the one you have? It looks like it does by the info but did not see a photo of it. I would love to be able to get right up against the walls/molding on the carpet.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Julie! Not sure if it’s considered a crevice tool, but the picture below the collage of Carter with the dogs shows an attachment for you to see. It’s not tiny, but it does allow you to get in to small spaces. I think the regular vacuum head does a great job of getting right up against molding and walls. Let me know if you have other questions! xoxo
Julie says
Thank you, Sheaffer!? Hope I end up with the vacuum??
Amy Allen says
Enjoyed your “this and that” post! We love shrimp boil at our house too! I make it in the crock pot which makes it even easier. The stretchy blazer is so cute! Thanks for sharing about the Gibson Sale! Heading there now to shop!
Julee says
Hi Sheaffer,
I’ve been a long time reader and just bought the Natori bra during the anniversary sale and was curious as to how you wash it. With two little kiddos this mama doesn’t have time for hand washing a bra ?. Thanks so much for all you do. I love reading about all your amazing finds.

Sheaffer says
Hi, Julee! I don’t give it any special treatment at all! I just throw it in with everything else in the laundry, and I dry it too! xoxo
