August Amazon Haul

LADIES, TODAY IS PRETTY FLIPPING AWESOME.

And I feel like I say this a lot, BUT TODAY’S HAUL JUST MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE AMAZON HAUL YET.  I think I even said it last month, but this month tops last month for sure.  I have fewer items that I’m featuring…BUT I’M IN LOVE WITH THESE ITEMS!  I get sooo excited when I find these awesome pieces (and incredible deals) on Amazon, and I always can hardly wait to share them with y’all.

Here’s a little peek…

Back in March, who would have thought that we would be well into August and life would still look like it does now.

So since it’s 2020 and all, I thought I would go ahead and kick things off with a couple of super cute and cozy items.  Items that are perfect for lounging around the house, because heaven knows we are all still doing a whole lot of that.

I’m dying over this little set.  Joggers and a little short sleeve sweatshirt?  YES, PLEASE!  And they are lined with a super soft fleecy material that will make you never want to take them off.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small in both the sweatshirt and the joggers.  However, I think I would possibly prefer a medium in the top.  As you can see, the band is pretty tight around my upper arm.  I thought it was supposed to be like that, until I saw the pic of it on the model.  I think I need a little extra room.  Haha!

But it’s super cute, right?

And I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit by pairing the joggers with this brightly colored long sleeved hoodie!  It’s by the same maker, and it’s also lined with the super soft fleece.  And as much as I love the above short sleeved sweatshirt, I love this one even more.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the hooded sweatshirt and a small in the joggers.  I wanted to make sure the sweatshirt had a relaxed fit, and it totally does.

I love the color of this hoodie so much that I hopped online to grab the joggers to match.

I’ll obviously be wearing both tops with the joggers, but I’ll be pairing them with denim shorts and jeans as well!

And one more sweatshirt.  Because why not.

It’s fleece lined too and has a bit of stretch to it.  This is the pale grey heather, and it also comes in charcoal grey, medium grey, and navy.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’ve shown you this next item in heathered grey and in a navy stripe over the last year.  It’s a tunic tee, but I wear it as a nightgown, and I love it so much.  However, I’ve heard from lots of readers that y’all actually wear them as tunic tees and love them.  I guess they would be great with leggings and long cardis, especially for you taller ladies!

Puff sleeves are all the rage right now, and this is a great little top!

The puff sleeves on this baby are more dramatic than any other puff sleeve top I own, but I’m here for it.  It would be great for a girl’s night out or date night with skinny jeans, but it would also be great with a tailored pair of pants for the office.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small (but it is a little snug across the chest).

This is the same sweater I got last year in leopard and in camel, and I wore the heck out of both of them.  When they added this beautiful Kelly green, it took me about 2 seconds to scoop it up.  This is one of my very favorite colors, but it’s very seldom that I can find anything in this exact shade.  It’s fitted, so I’m wearing a medium so it won’t be too tight.

I love pairing this color green with leopard, so I busted out my beloved leopard flats.

It looks great with black jeans too!  These jeans aren’t Amazon, but they are UNDER $45 and STILL IN STOCK at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (and everybody can finally shop)!  I’m wearing my regular size 4 in the jeans, but size down if between sizes.  They are wonderfully stretchy and will make you look and feel great!

This next find is a really great one!

I love a cardi….and I love the fit, the length, and the color of this one. And it’s 100% cotton, which I know so many love.

I’m wearing the “terra cotta” and it’s a gorgeous color, but it looks more pink in my pictures than it actually is.  It definitely has some blush tones in it, but terra cotta is a good description of  the color (although it leans more pink clay than orange).  I hope that helps.  Haha!

I’m wearing a small, and I might even be able to go x-small because the shoulders do hang off a bit.  The shoulders don’t bother me enough to exchange it, so I’m keeping the small.  This color looks awesome with my camo slip on sneakers  that are still available in the sale!  Incredibly comfy and true to size, and there are great neutral colors available too if you don’t dig the camo.

And here’s the navy!  It’s a great color too, and it also comes in an olive green, a light pink, a powder blue, and a yellow.  The terra cotta and the navy are definitely my favorite colors, and I think both would be a great addition to any closet.

I’m wearing the same tassel necklace as I was above, and it’s a total steal at just under $13.  The beads are natural amazonite and so so pretty.

This blouse is DARLING.  And so feminine.  And just really pretty.  This is “love potion” and I think it’s a hot pink in real life (like in my picture below).  It looks like a more muted pink on Amazon, but it truly is a really great hot pink.

It’s got a split neck and ruffle and flutter sleeves.  It looks fabulous with black jeans (seen here), it will look great with regular denim, and it’s perfect for the office too.  I’m wearing a 6, but could probably wear a 4.

This is not the first time the Amazon denim jacket has made an appearance on a monthly haul.  In fact, it’s probably like the 10th time, but it’s here again because it deserves to be.

This is the light wash, and I’m wearing a small.  It’s got a perfect amount of stretch in it, it’s got a great little fit, and it can be worn basically all year long.

What you see here is one of my Fall uniforms that I swear by.  And just think, you could switch out the black tee for a white tee and the black mules for some wedge sneakers and you’d have a completely different look.

Here’s the medium wash.  I’m wearing the size medium in this one, and you can see it’s a little bit longer and the fit is a tad more generous.

This is truly an awesome denim jacket.  If you don’t have a denim jacket THAT YOU LOVE in your closet, fix that right now.  You will never regret it.

I showed you this black tee last month (it’s the one that comes in a 2 pack with the leopard tee for Under $20), and it’s definitely become one of the tees I reach for over and over again.  Showing it here with some denim and my Amazon mules for a great early Fall look.

And check out the leopard weekender bag!  I had a reader recommend this to me, AND Y’ALL.  It’s awesome.  It’s definitely roomy enough to pack yourself up for a weekend away, but it’s not too big that once full it’s too hard to carry.  The strap is cushy and comfortable on your shoulder, and I love that it has a separate compartment for shoes on the bottom.  It’s a FABULOUS value at just under $40.

Get this.  They are only $25.  TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS.  They have a padded foot bed, are very comfy, and slip on easily (but don’t slip off when I walk)!  They are true to size and a wonderful transitional shoe to take you into Fall.  They are true to size, but size up if between sizes.

It’s SUPER SALE ALERT time!

Yesterday afternoon I went to grab the link for this jacket, and I could NOT believe the prices.  Prices have gone up a bit since then (Amazon is known for this), but the jacket is still a great deal! All sizes and colors are different prices (I have no idea why), but the medium in grey is still under $20 and the small is under $25 (as of Thursday night).

Here’s what you need to know about the jacket: it’s a tiny bit cropped (not really cropped, but shorter that most jackets) and quite boxy, but that is what it’s supposed to be! I LOVE the stand up collar and I truly can’t believe the price. I’m wearing a small, and it’s still quite oversized, so I think the x-small would actually work on me.

How adorable is this sweater?  I’ve got it in a flat lay right now because I accidentally ordered an x-small.  #oops  But look how cute it is!  And it’s just at $15!  FIFTEEN DOLLARS!

I found this picture on my phone and don’t think I ever showed you this jumpsuit because it sold out before I could.  BUT NOW IT’S BACK!  It’s sooooo great for lounging around the house, but I love wearing it around town too after throwing a jacket on top.  I’m wearing a small.

I ordered some of the above items in new colors and wanted to show them off too.

The popover (#3) made the list because everybody loved the red and white striped one I got several months ago.  I put the the navy one in the collage above because the red one was sold out, and because I had ordered the navy one to try out!  Well, it arrived.  And it’s SO GOOD.  It’s great with denim shorts, but will be great with jeans too.

My favorite way to wear it is to leave the top 2 buttons open and casually cuff the sleeves up 2 cuffs.  This is a great shirt, and my newest addition is the stripe seen in the above collage.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, which is most often true to size for me with shirts that have buttons and/or no give in the chest.

I LOVE the beaded earrings too.  They are an amazing deal at under $15, light as a feather, and come in several color options.  I’m wearing the turquoise, but I also have them in “yellow”, which is actually a beautiful multicolor option.

And my favorite denim shorts are BACK IN STOCK!  True to size.

I ordered this color combo popover too, and it’s cute, but I like the one above better.  I’m keeping the navy striped, but still wanted y’all to see this option as well.

This puff sleeve dress is #17 in the collage above. I originally showed it to you in the dalmation print, but it sold out immediately, so I wanted to order this navy stripe to give you another choice.

The dress is freaking adorable and it’s crazy soft with a great little puff sleeve.  For size reference, I’m wearing the small.  It also comes in a white and black stripe, a solid black, and a handful of other choices.

Soooo many readers have already purchased this dress and are singing it’s praises.  I love it when y’all confirm my love for something.  This dress is so good.

1.  These joggers in hot pink.

2.  These jeans have fantastic reviews, so I wanted to give them a try!  I’ll review them next month.

3. I needed a new microwaveable heating pad.  You know, to replace the one that I caught on fire.

4. This under $20 sweater in cobalt blue.  Looks like it’s going to be great with denim and for the office!

5. I’ve never seen this puff sleeve chambray top before, but I can’t wait to wear it with black jeans and neutral booties this Fall!
