June Amazon Haul (And Some Big Style Sale Highlights)!

Let’s kick things off with this cute little t-shirt dress.   It’s not part of the sale (we’ll get to some sale items in a minute), but it’s SO DANG CUTE!

The sunglasses are only $12.99, and I’m so happy they’ve been restocked in both black and tortoise!  I love their big round frames and think they totally look designer.  They also have a combo pack where you can get both the tortoise and the black for ONLY $19.99.  I have and love both.  What a deal!

And you know me, I had to show it to you with a denim jacket as well.

If you changed the necklace, swapped out the sandals for booties or sneakers, and changed the bag to a cognac tote, you could wear this combo all the way into Fall.

This is my newest denim jacket from Amazon, and it’s SO good.

I’m wearing a small and love the fit.  It’s got a little bit of stretch to it, the collar does a good job of standing up on its own (if you want it to), and it’s not too long or too short.  It’s a great little jacket and an awesome price point at just a little over $40.

I’ve had this round rattan cross body bag for a couple of years now.  This bag is sturdy, well made, I love the shape, and its UNDER $25!

And ladies, the patent sandals have been one of my greatest surprises over the last couple of months.  If you recall, I first showed them to you in a collage.  I said they weren’t for me (because I don’t really like flip flops unless they are Havianas), but I ordered them anyway just so I could review them for you.   I gave them a great review, but still didn’t think they were for me.  And then I threw them on one day when I was running across the street to the neighbor’s house, and now I continue to reach for them.  They really are quite comfortable (the foot bed is a bit squishy), and I do love the color and the fact they are patent.  And of course they are a great option for those of you that love the look of a Tory Burch Miller sandal, but don’t want to pay the price.  These are soooo affordable at UNDER $35!

It’s a really pretty and vibrant blue with a tiny white stripe, and it’s got this great little understated puff sleeve.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

First of all, they are a great price point at under $35.  The reader reviews are fantastic on these babies, and I’m in full agreement.

This particular pair comes in 7 different washes, and these are the “beach wash”.  They’ve got a perfect amount of stretch to the (but they don’t stretch out during the day), they are very comfortable, and super flattering.  I did size up to a 28 to give me some extra wiggle room.

The circle straw tote is a quintessential Summer bag.  I’m showing the plain side here, but you’ll see in the next picture that it also comes with a colorful tassel.

And y’all!  Check out these tie dye slides.  Anything tie dye is all the rage right now, but I haven’t hopped on the trend UNTIL NOW.  I couldn’t resist these slides.  They are perfect for the pool and beach, but I’ve been wearing them around town as well.

Next up, we have a dress that isn’t a typical Amazon find because it’s a designer dress.  It’s from Paige.  Along with the designer label, it has a designer price tag, but it is part of the BIG STYLE SALE.

It comes in black and white, it’s lightweight, and it totally feels and looks like a designer dress.  In addition to the smocked waist, it also has smocking and a pretty little ruffle on the shoulders.

I’m low key obsessed and know this will be a dress I reach for again and again.  And again.

AND RIGHT NOW THIS DRESS is 43% OFF!  It’s regularly $209, but right now it’s ONLY $119.93!!!  WHAT A DEAL!

This swingy maxi dress is fabulous.

It comes in tons of color options, BUT THIS IS THE ONE I FELL IN LOVE WITH.  Seriously, how great are these colors!  And this floral print is GORGEOUS.  And great news, it’s on PRIME and you can get it by tomorrow!

I think this dress is actually better suited for smaller chested gals (there’s no stretch up top), so I will have to wear it with a jacket like above.

BUT GOOD GRIEF I LOVE THE COLORS AND PATTERNS.   My friend Keely and I talked about how this pattern would also make a great duvet and shams for a little girl’s room.  IT’S SO GOOD.  The fit is a bit like a glorified mumu, and I’m here for it.

This floral tie waist top is DARLING, it’s great with denim shorts, but I’ll love wearing it with white jeans as well.  The online pictures show it in a simple tie instead of a bow, but I feel like the tails are too long like that.  I actually really like the look with the bow, even though I’m not normally a bow gal.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the top.

I was initially attracted to the color of this flutter sleeve tee, although it does come in 6 total color choices. I really like the ruffles on the sleeve as well as the sleeve length.

It runs large, and I’m wearing the small here.

These white frayed hem denim shorts were a nice surprise!  They are a soft and stretchy material, and they are quite comfy.  I ordered up and am wearing a 6 (I most often do in white shorts), and I’m very happy with the fit.  Actually, I’ve found myself ordering up a size in shorts lately even if they aren’t white.  I’ve come to appreciate the bit of extra give and length a size up offers.  Haha!

The above shorts come in several colors, but these are my favorite options for Summer.  The prices differ depending on the size and wash you choose, but most of them are between $15 and $34!

Here’s another denim short option with the tee and the slides I showed at the beginning of the post.  I really like the fit of these shorts, but I wish the stitching wasn’t so aggressive.  I do wonder if the “light wash” option on this link is the same fit, because the stitching is so much better!  I’m wearing my regular 27s.

The striped flutter sleeve top is one of my most favorite recent Amazon finds!  It’s soft, it’s well made, it fits great, and I love the little flutter sleeve.  It’s a bit thicker than a normal t shirt, but I like the material a lot. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.  It’s a fantastic deal at ONLY $20.

These shorts aren’t from Amazon, but they definitely deserve a mention.  The drawstring shorts are insanely comfortable, really flattering, and just plain cute!  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Here are the aggressively stitched shorts again, but I sure do like the fit.

And let’s take another look at the top, because this striped flutter sleeve top is reallllllllllllllly great.  #highlyrecommend

And yep, I’m a big ol’ fan of the patent sandals now too.  #whowouldhavethought  #notme

It’s official.  I’m obsessed with puff sleeve and ruffle sleeve tees.

This pink peony color is low in stock, but there are lots of colors to choose from.  The cantaloupe, light peach, and black and white stripes are my other 3 favorites.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the tee.

Get me to the lake or the beach immediately! And how cute would this combo be on July 4th?!? Everything is under $40, the swimsuit is only $20, and the sunglasses are $12.99!

And here I am in the above outfit.

The striped swimsuit actually fits very similarly to a body suit.  The material is a good weight and stretchy, it’s got great coverage (back and bootie), removable pads, and it’s SO comfy. There’s also a coral stripe and a really great solid red, along with some other colors.

And please pay attention to the hat, bag, and flip flops as well.  I LOVE THEM ALL.

The neoprene tote is FANTASTIC and comes in lots of color choices  It has snaps on the sides that allow you to adjust the size, and it’s plenty of big for lots of towels, water bottles, sun screens, and snacks.

I showed this dress in my 5 SUMMER OUTFITS post last week, but here I dressed it down with a ball cap.

It’s a perfect maxi, y’all.

First of all, it’s ONLY $26.  And it comes in tons of colors and has excellent reviews.

I love that it’s not clingy, but it’s also not boxy at all.  It drapes really nicely and is super flattering.  The material is soft and light, and it feels great on the skin.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

And get this.  IT DOESN’T WRINKLE.  I pulled it right out of the package and it looked great.  This would be a  great little travel dress.

I love this dress, but before I say anything else about it, you need to know to size down AT LEAST 1 size.  I’m wearing an x-small here, and I’m NEVER an x-small.  The material is so soft and the fit is VERY relaxed.  See the picture on the right to realize just how big and stretchy it is.

If you want it to have a little more shape, throw a denim jacket on top to help define your waist.

I’ve been all about cute little tees from Amazon, and this is one of my favorites!

This Happy Camper tee is crazy soft and I really love the graphic. This is the green, but it also comes in fuchsia, grey, white, and blue.  I’m wearing a medium for a relaxed fit.

And these are another pair of sandals that are making me eat my words.  Pretty much right after I said I only wear flip flops if they are Havianas, I got this patent pair and the leopard pair below.  These leopard flip flops are really flexible and so dang cute.

With July 4th right around the corner, its time to grab some patriotic gear!  This America tee is soft (I won’t highlight a tee if it’s not soft), and I like that its festive.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the tee.

It’s becoming pretty obvious that I love a graphic tee in the summer, and you can’t get any better than the “BE KIND” message. It’s very soft, and I’m wearing a medium. I also grabbed it in a cream color because I loved the neon graphics!

If you know me, you know I love a Dr. Pepper.  ESPECIALLY with lots of ice in a styrofoam cup.  I don’t know why….but I know it’s AWESOME. #thisisanojudgementzone And you know who loves Dr. Pepper more than I do?  CARTER!  Besides chocolate chocolate chip Nothing Bundt Cake, it’s really the only sweet treat he loves.  I knew he would get a kick out of this shirt, so I grabbed it!  This one is super soft too, and I’m wearing a medium in it as well.

Okay, I guess it is time to move on from graphic tees.

Almost every single time I’ve shown a picture of myself in shorts this summer, I’ve been asked about my “tan.”  Last year I started using Fake Bake and was crazy impressed, but when the original formula sold out last month, I ordered the Fake Bake Darker and love it too!  It comes with a mitt that makes it so easy to apply without streaks, and you can see the formula going on which also promotes even application!  In the picture below, the product is on my right leg.  Love that healthy glow!

The above tanning spray is what allowed me to feel comfortable in my swimsuit yesterday at the lake!

The cover up is sold out in black, but there’s a small number still available in bright blue, green and white.  They are one size fits all which I questioned, but I really liked the fit.  There aren’t many left, so if you want it, grab it!  You can also click HERE for a classic beach cover up option.

It’s very well made, the embroidery is beautiful, and I love that this one link has so many color combinations to choose from! It’s a crisp cotton with no stretch, so I definitely need a medium to accommodate my chest.

My exact shirt is B69-R, but this particular combo is now sold out in most sizes.  The good news is that there are a handful of other red options as well as a myriad of other color combos that are available!

The easiest way to shop this shirt is to go down to the SIZE drop down box (underneath all of the shirts in the boxes) and choose your desired size.  I’m wearing a medium, and although it’s very roomy, I need a medium to have plenty of give in the chest area.  So choose your desired size, and the colors that ARE available in your size will remain bright while the colors NOT available in your size will become faded.
