Friday Favorites: A GREAT SHIRT! THE BEST SANDALS EVER! AND SOME AMAZING DEALS!!

I LOVE AN EMBROIDERED TOP

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve absolutely loved Mexican shirts and Mexican dresses.  And I don’t know about you, but I would ROCK a Mexican dress with a great pair of jellies.  Or maybe some nice white Keds.  Please tell me I’m not the only one.  #memories

Well, I found a great Mexican shirt on Amazon!

It’s very well made, the embroidery is beautiful, and I love that this one link has so many color combinations to choose from! It’s a crisp cotton with no stretch, so I definitely need a medium to accommodate my chest.

My exact shirt is B69-R, but this particular combo is now sold out in most sizes.  The good news is that there are a handful of other red options as well as a myriad of other color combos that are available!

The easiest way to shop this shirt is to go down to the SIZE drop down box (underneath all of the shirts in the boxes) and choose your desired size.  I’m wearing a medium, and although it’s very roomy, I need a medium to have plenty of give in the chest area.  So choose your desired size, and the colors that ARE available in your size will remain bright while the colors NOT available in your size will become faded.

I was planning on sharing the shorts with y’all today too.  The people at Blank NYC were nice enough to send me their new white pair that were supposed to debut on Nordstrom this week.  Well, they were on the site on Wednesday (as well as a great light wash option too), and they were no longer there on Thursday.  They appeared to be fully stocked when they first appeared, so we’re hoping to get to the bottom of it soon, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed they will show back up!  I’ll  of course be sure to let you know the second I see them back again, because I love them!

I also wanted to shoot the top with my new Target cut offs (in case you don’t love a white denim short), so you could see how the top looks with regular denim as well!  Sadly, these distressed denim shorts flew off the shelves when I posted them on Wednesday, but I still wanted you to see the shirt with regular denim shorts.  I’m hoping for a restock on these as well.

I FOUND THE SANDALS IN STOCK!

When I initially highlighted the cognac sandals below (and above), they sold out immediately in the cognac at Nordstrom.  Then I found them on Sam Edelman’s site, and they sold out there in the cognac too.

Well, now I have a couple more sources for you!!!

But before you look for the size you need to grab, I recommend you size down a 1/2.  Other readers agree.  Also, I have the regular width. From what other readers say you have to have a very wide fit to really need the wide option.

OUR MIDDLE SCHOOLER

So, this little guy graduated 5th grade on Wednesday.  It was obviously quite a bit different than we thought it would be, but it was still a sweet little day.

The picture on the left is Carter on the first day of 5th grade and the picture on the right is this past Wednesday!  It was super bright outside (hence the squinty eyes), but I had to grab a picture.  Notice the difference of where his shoulders hit the door.  He’s grown several inches and he really lost his baby face!

Through the years…

The teachers did a drive by parade through all of the neighborhoods, and this is Carter with his friend (and our neighbor) Mallie waiting for the teachers!  I sure do love these kiddos.

SOME FESTIVE OUTFIT INSPIRATION

Now that it’s almost June, it’s going to be July 4th before we knew it.  And since there are some shipping delays we are all having to deal with now, I thought I would go ahead and throw out some festive outfit ideas so the pieces will have plenty of time to arrive before the holiday.

I have a handful of suggestions to help get you all sorts of festive for a barbecue and fireworks show!

The tee is soft with a great fit.  It’s not boxy, but not too tight either.  I’m wearing a medium and definitely needed the room in the chest.  Such a cute and easy outfit for a festive 4th!

I showed this last year, but this also makes a great casual maxi for your 4th…AND it makes a perfect dress for when you are getting a spray tan because it’s loose and light!

(The side by side below is Before and After my spray tan at Suddenly Sunless. I will say that the picture on the right was before I showered, so it’s looks reallllllllllly aggressive….but a shower always lightens it up quite a bit and leaves me golden brown.)

I actually showed this dress in another  Amazon post with wedges and statement earrings, but I prefer wearing it more casually.

I’m wearing a small, and it comes in lots of additional color options!  It’s under $30.

COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD MOISTURIZER FLASH SALE

SHEER RENEWAL CREAM

The Sheer Renewal Cream is by far the best moisturizer I’ve ever used – it’s a must have for me! I hate to admit it, but I’ve spent WAY too much money on more expensive creams (like La Mer, cringe!) and never saw results, but I could tell a difference in my skin after a little over 2 months of using this cream.  I’ve used the Sheer Renewal Cream every single day for the past 3 years. It’s light and provides my skin with the moisture it needs without being greasy, heavy, or clogging my pores. It is the perfect cream to start your day – it absorbs quickly, leaves your skin soft, and acts as the perfect primer for your make up! I am never without this cream and order just about every other time or so that it goes on sale.

Face Oil #9

The Face Oil #9 is my favorite CR product (and I consistently use 8 CR products, so that’s saying a lot)! I use one pump of this oil mixed with the Sheer Renewal Cream as a part of my daily routine. It provides that extra moisture I need especially during the dry winter months or after a day in the sun. I’ve been using this product for about a year and have noticed an EXTREME difference in my skin. I was starting to develop laugh lines and can honestly say that after using this product, they have vanished…completely. I wish I had a before and after picture to share with you guys! Don’t let the price of the product scare you – it lasts FOREVER. A little teeny tiny bit goes a long way!

EXTREME RECOVERY CREAM

The Extreme Recovery Cream (not pictured because I’m out!) is one of the first products I tried, and it’s actually what got me hooked on Colleen Rothschild! I use this as a night cream and apply it after I’ve washed my face with the cleansing balm. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized before bed. I also apply the cream to my neck to keep my skin looking youthful! I’ve tried several night creams and they all clogged my pores or made me break out, but the Extreme Recovery Cream provides the right amount of moisture without being too heavy or greasy. This product has also helped tremendously with my fine lines. I’ve been out of this cream for about a week and can tell my skin is craving the moisture! Go ahead and add it to your cart – you won’t be disappointed!
