LADIES, TODAY IS REALLY GOOD.
I always have so much fun doing these AMAZON HAULS, and I get so excited to share the deals I’ve found with ya’ll! This month’s haul is awesome.
Here’s a little peek at September’s finds…
COMFY BASICS / ATHLEISURE
Let’s kick things off with some comfy basics. BECAUSE WHY NOT. It’s 2020 y’all.
You probably remember this exact same outfit from last month, but with a hot pink hoodie. That’s right, I love the hoodie so much I ended up grabbing it in the blue too. This blue is such a pretty color and the sweatshirt is cozy, warm, and well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the hooded sweatshirt and a small in the joggers. I wanted to make sure the sweatshirt had a relaxed fit, and it totally does.
These are the slip on sneakers I’ve been talking about for over a year now. They are crazy comfy, and feel more like a tight stock than a shoe. It’s awesome that they slip on and off so easily, and this apricot color is a wonderful neutral. I recommend sizing down a 1/2.
slip on sneakers (6701 Apricot – size down a 1/2)
As soon as it starts getting cooler, a sweatshirt and denim shorts is one of my favorite combos.
Here’s the pink one that I showed you last month. I loved the color of this hoodie so much that I ended up hopping online to grab the joggers to match. It’s a lot of pink when worn together, but it’s fun.
I’ve got another sweatshirt, because why not. This one is from last year, but I pull it out a lot because it’s so soft. I love lounging around the house in this one. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It’s a little big across the shoulders, but I think a small would be too small across the chest.
Since I love the cut and feel of the above sweatshirt, I about died when I saw the new pattern available. This is one of those sweatshirts that will be a lot of fun to style. I’ll dress it up with black jeans, neutral booties, and gold jewelry.
This sweatshirt is SO FALL. I love the clay and white abstract zebra print.
This next outfit is still going under COMFY BASICS because of the joggers. I LOVE the jogger and denim jacket combo and find it’s an outfit I repeat over and over again.
I first introduced you this fabulous denim jacket last year. It has a good amount of stretch so it doesn’t feel boxy or stiff, which qualifies it as comfy also! It comes in 3 great washes, and it’s a more generous fit and has a bit more length that the must have denim jacket. It’s really good and UNDER $40.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the light wash jacket on the left, and I’m wearing a medium in the medium wash jacket on the right.
Is this next item a sweatshirt? Is it a dress?
IT’S BOTH Y’ALL.
This sweatshirt dress is really cute, very comfy, and it comes in several color choices. I’m wearing a small. It’s a little long for my liking, but that’s great news for everybody that’s over 5’4″.
Did you catch a glimpse of the sneakers above? They aren’t from Amazon, but they definitely deserve a highlight. They are just as comfy as they are DARLING. I’ll be wearing these babies all Fall long with ankle jeans and sweaters. Size down a 1/2.
We’ve talked about everything in this outfit before, but every single piece deserves another highlight when talking about COZY items.
This hoodie is AWESOME. First of all, it’s flattering, which is always a very important criteria for me. I WANT FLATTERING. ALWAYS. There’s just something about the way it’s cut and the design and placement of the bottom band and the pockets that just make it a great little jacket for leggings. I loved this vibrant blue, but there are 5 other available colors as well. My other favorite color is the dark grey space dye. AND LADIES. IT’S ONLY $25 (or less depending on the color)!
And do we need to talk about the sneakers and the leggings again? I’m going to sum up my recommendation for both in 2 words: GET. THEM.
Seriously. Get them both. And go ahead and throw in the hoodie and the earrings.
I’m wearing a medium in the hoodie, a small in the leggings, and I suggest sizing down a 1/2 in the sneakers.
I. LOVE. THIS. ENTIRE. OUTFIT.
And this wasn’t available in my size (I think I’d need a medium), but if you are a small, GRAB IT! There are 30 available, so I don’t expect it to be around for long.
This striped hoodie is so dang cute!
CUTE AND CASUAL
A step or two up from the comfy athleisure section above, we’ve now got some cute and casual outfits.
Do y’all remember this cardi? I showed it last month with blue denim and camo sneakers, but I love showing y’all different ways to style items. I like it here with black on black, the neutral booties, and check out the leopard belt!!!
I love the fit, the length, and the color of the cardi. And it’s 100% cotton, which I know so many of us love. This “terra cotta” is a gorgeous color, but it looks more pink in my pictures than it actually is. It definitely has some blush tones in it, but terra cotta is a good description of the color (although it leans more pink clay than orange). I hope that helps. Haha!
I’m wearing a small, and I might even be able to go x-small because the shoulders do hang off a bit. The shoulders don’t bother me enough to exchange it, so I’m keeping the small.
Here’s the cardi last month styled a bit more casually with jeans and sneakers.
I first showed this leopard tee back during this summer. Do you remember it? It comes in a 2 pack with the above black tee. You really need to go check out all of the color combinations available! I think it looks great with the black denim and medium wash denim jacket.
To help jog your memory (and give you a better look at the tee), here’s how I styled the leopard tee styled for warmer weather.
And maybe you remember the black tee styled this Summer too. This is the same tee seen above with the black jeans and terra cotta cardi.
All right, ladies.
Please listen to me when I tell you that this cardi is CRAZY soft. The ratings are fantastic, and I couldn’t agree more. It comes in 13 colors, so there’s something for everybody. I got this last year and have worn it so many times, and I keep finding new ways to style it.
For size reference, I’m wearing the x-small/small.
Both colors are from last year, but the outfits and pics are new!
This leopard sweater is from last year too, but you can bet that it’s going to be in heavy rotation again. I’m very picky about my leopard patterns, and this one is greatness. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
When styled with either a pair of nice black pants or a pencil skirt, this is definitely nice enough for the office.
And check this out! This is a tiny bit out of my comfort zone, but I actually really like this black ruched body con dress. Looks like I’m ready for a night out when styled with a denim jacket and booties!
And if you want to feel like you’re wearing pajamas, just pair it with one of the super soft cardigans from above. The ruching on the dress holds my tummy in a bit, but it’s still very comfy!
This striped sweater is adorable. I’m wearing a small, but I need a medium. It’s definitely snug.
This sweater would also be so cute with regular denim and Converse.
I’ve never met a stripe I didn’t like, but I really love these thick colorful stripes on this sweater. That’s actually a navy stripe, so it will probably be better with regular denim, but I didn’t mind it with the black jeans at all. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
You might remember this blue sweater from last month, but I’ve styled it a little differently here. When a sweater is this soft, it deserves another mention. It’s got a double v neck (front and back), ribbing details, and a split hem. It’s got a great fit. And did I mention SOFT? It isn’t tight, but it’s not slouchy either. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
Tons of other great casual options can be found in this post. And almost all of the items are still in stock!
FOR THE OFFICE
This ruffle neck blouse is made for the office. But I’m telling you, it would work for date night too! All of the pretty details like the split ruffled neck and the slightly poofy and gathered sleeves make it feel special.
I love this pattern, and it actually comes in a couple of more patterns and several solids as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This collared wrap dress feels very DVF. It looks high end, but it’s just a small percentage of the price of a real DVF. I would need to add a snap closure on the chest to be comfortable wearing it, but this is such a great dress. And you’re not going to believe it, but it’s just under $40. It comes in solids too, but I think this pattern is much more forgiving than a solid would be. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
EARLIER THIS MONTH
I’ve heard from lots of readers that you like seeing all of my Amazon finds for the month in 1 easy to shop post. So, we’re about to review some items I first showed earlier in the month.
I highlighted several pj sets, and they are all super cute. If you want to see what all I have to say about each set, click HERE to see individual pictures and hear my thoughts.
This tie dye pullover was perfect for Carter’s soccer game at 9:00 on Saturday morning. I mean, it was perfect until about 10:00. After that, it was a little warm, but it was still super cute. Haha!
I thought the neck was a little large, but when I went to go grab the link, it’s being shown worn off the shoulder. So, worn on the shoulder, the neck looks a little large. I’m guessing it’s perfect worn off the shoulder. I would definitely wear it with a cami or tank under it for it to still be super casual.
tie dye pullover / cut off shorts and pink sneakers no longer available
This sweatshirt is from Old Navy, but the leggings are the Amazon ones that I’m OBSESSED with. They are very comparable to the Zellas, but much less expensive. Officially, they are called High Waist Power Flex Leggings – With Tummy Control. They are FANTASTIC because they suck you in while still allowing you to breathe. It says they promote both compression and support, and they are not see thru at all. I’m wearing a small in the leggings and love the fit. Click HERE for all the different legging lengths that are available.
Did y’all see the Under $25 Fall collage?
Here’s the FABULOUS cardi that I featured in the collage. Even though Amazon just raised the priced, it’s still very worth it.
Here’s one review: It’s hard to find lightweight sweaters that you can wash without needing fabric softener for static (i.e. not polyester or acrylic). These dry really well hanging: just hang on a felt/rubber hanger and shape/smooth out a few times while it is drying. Stretch to remove any lingering wrinkles. And this reviewer actually owns 5 colors of this sweater, so she clearly loves it.
It’s soft, lightweight, and has a good bit of stretch to it (which I really like). The “mocha mousse” is a great neutral color for Fall, although it’s reading more pink in these pictures than it really is. I would describe it as “mocha” that leans brown with blush undertones.
It also comes in other great basic colors like black, navy, grey, and cream. This cardi is an awesome staple to have in your wardrobe and multiple colors in your closet wouldn’t hurt. These cardigans are casual enough to wear with jeans and sneakers, but they are definitely nice enough for the office as well.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
GREAT FINDS THAT ARE STILL IN STOCK
Originally, I wasn’t sure about this next tee, but I wanted to give it a try because it was different than all of my other tees. It has a small turtleneck and a boxy fit, but the material is so soft and comfy and it drapes nicely!
For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the top
These are the earrings I grabbed for Fall last year and they are now available again! They are all lightweight, DARLING, and UNDER $10!
This hoodie is a very from last year and it’s definitely been a staple for me. Because of the fabric, it feels a bit nicer than just a regular ol’ sweatshirt. It too comes in several color options.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This cardi is FANTASTIC and it’s on SUPER SALE right now depending on what color you are interested in. I’m wearing a small here, and it’s not as long on me as it is on the model, so I would suggest sizing up if you want it longer like it looks on the model. The small isn’t cropped at all (and it actually fits great), it’s just not the length I was expecting it to be.
The cardi has fantastic reviews, and in addition to wearing it casually, this would also be a great cardigan for the office.
So. Stinkin. Cute.
Almost done, but before you go…
Just for fun…
THE LAST 3 THINGS I PRIMED
*Just yesterday I grabbed this 12 piece set of white pumpkins for UNDER $20! They will go great in my tiered stand in the kitchen.
*I’m so pumped to receive this spice colored chunky pullover!
*This short sleeved striped sweater is beautiful and classic. I love the color combo of light blue, blush, cream, and black.
