SEPTEMBER AMAZON HAUL: Stock Your Closet With Great Fall Pieces!

Happy Friday, ladies! TODAY IS SO SO GOOD, SO GET READY!

If you feel like you need some really great basics that are going to take you through Fall, you are in the right place! I found some awesome pieces that are perfect for both now (when it’s still warm) and later (when the temps finally drop).  And EVERYTHING I’m featuring today is super affordable.

Sure, I order a lot that I never show y’all…But the items that I do end up featuring are really good, and I totally stand behind them.  And with me as your shopping tour guide, I hope to make shopping Amazon fashion easy and even FUN!

 

ATHLEISURE

Let’s kick things off with AWESOME LEGGINGS and this zip up jacket.  The leggings are the cropped version of the leggings that I’ve been talking about since January.  I prefer the long ones when wearing them with sweaters, tunics, and boots.  But I prefer these cropped ones when wearing athleisure.

They are high waisted, have a wide waistband, and they suck you in while still allowing you to breathe.  I LOVE THEM.  I’m wearing a small.

And this zip up jacket reminds me very much of the Zella live in jacket that is $89!  And this one is ONLY $22.50, which is just about 1/4 of the price!  CRAZY!  It has thumb holes, a stand up collar, and I love the contrasting black zipper.  It comes in 8 colors.  I’m wearing a medium (I buy mediums in Zella jackets as well) and I’m not going to dry this jacket. I will dry for like 5 minutes and then hang to dry the rest of the way.

You can see above how the tee that I’m wearing under the jacket is peeking out.  It’s a swing tee and not a work out tee.  If I wasn’t actually planning on working out, and I was just planning on running around town, I would throw on this tee instead of the standard fitted work out tee.  I like how it gives me a bit more coverage and hides my backside.

This funnel neck sweatshirt is what sweatshirt dreams are made of.  The funnel neck adds lots of style, and I love the relaxed vibe it gives.  And it has thumb holes too!

It’s super soft and totally made for leggings.  I love it so much in fact that the light grey heather one is now on it’s way to me as well.  The grey top will obviously look great with leggings, but I’m also hoping that it might make a cute little set with these joggers you will see in a minute!  I’m wearing a medium.

I showed this fleece pullover  to y’all when it first came in, but I just threw it on with shorts.  Now you can see it styled the way it was meant to be styled….at least in my world…with leggings.  I’ll of course wear it with jeans too, but my goodness the outfit below sure is comfy.  Of course, if it’s cold enough outside to be wearing the pullover, you might prefer to be wearing the long version of the leggings.  I’m wearing a medium in the pullover.

I went ahead and showed y’all this outfit this past Friday because I just couldn’t wait!

Here’s the back story:  I found a pair of joggers on Amazon last year, but they sold out immediately and never restocked.  I’ve probably ordered 5 more pairs since then, but I haven’t liked any of them.  BUT GREAT NEWS!  I’ve finally found a new pair, I LOVE THEM, and they are ONLY $18.  They come in 8 colors, so I’m guessing that many of you will end up grabbing an additional pair after your first pair arrives.  Those of you that are really smart will go ahead and just grab two right off the bat BECAUSE EIGHTEEN DOLLARS.

I got my regular size smalls, and I love the fit.  They are obviously super comfy, but I also think they are incredibly flattering.  (When I pulled them out of the box, I thought they looked huge, but they actually fit me great.  Still, if you are between sizes, I would size down.)

I think this is such a cute early Fall outfit.  I went totally casual to a girl’s dinner last week, and I was so comfy while eating my chips and guac.

Sadly, the Amazon camo crew neck tee keeps going in and out of stock, but there’s a great v neck version (also at Amazon with better stock!) and another crew neck version HERE at Nordstrom.   Size up in the Amazon tees, they are a very slim fit.

I’m still loving the Amazon denim jacket. It’s a little bit longer and a little bit less fitted than our beloved must have denim jacket, and it’s just what so many of y’all were looking for.  (Click HERE to see the jacket styled with black jeans.)  I highly recommend everything in this outfit, including the bag strap and mesh sneakers!

THE BEST JACKET – AND IT’S ONLY $32

I showed this outfit on Friday too.  Waiting is hard, y’all.

This jacket (in olive) was on my Fall Faves under $50 collage AND IT IS SO FREAKING GOOD.  And it’s actually way under $50 at ONLY $32!

Sooooooooooooo many of y’all ordered the jacket, and I’ve received sooooooooooo many messages from y’all this week saying that you are just as obsessed with the jacket as I am! NOBODY can believe the quality and the style for the price!!!  The olive is sold out in most sizes, but I don’t want that to discourage y’all from trying the jacket in a different color.

Here it is in blush.  I’m wearing a small, but I would definitely say to size down if between sizes.  (I talked about another blush military jacket last week, but it was a MUCH heavier jacket.)  This one is lightweight, and it’s 97% cotton and 3% elastane, so it has some stretch to it which is awesome.  You can also cinch the waist in if you wish.  Oh, and it’s machine washable!  THIS JACKET IS AWESOME.

You can see it all zipped up on the right.  The small was a little tight on me when it was zipped, but the medium was too big.  I will rarely (if ever) zip and button the jacket, so I stuck with the small.

And here it is in navy!  It also comes in black, khaki, and a light olive.  Please don’t let the fact that the olive is gone discourage you from giving this jacket a try.  All the colors are great and super versatile!

LONG LINE CARDIGANS AND A GREAT PAIR OF JEANS

Here I am in the same outfit as above, but I’ve switched out the military jacket for a long line cardigan.  I’m wearing the pale heather here, but it comes in 9 total colors.  I LOVE the look of it, but I do wish it was a little softer.  It’s not itchy or anything though, so I’m keeping it since I love the fit, the length, and the color.  I’m wearing a small.  Consider sizing down.

Okay, y’all!  THE JEANS!  We’ve talked about them before, but let’s review.

I grabbed the jeans on Amazon, and they are the Democracy brand. I’m not sure how this works, but I think Democracy is a sister brand to Wit and Wisdom, so all of you Wit and Wisdom lovers need to pay extra close attention.  They are officially called jeggings because of their extreme stretch, but they DO have a functional button and zipper.

They are super stretchy (but don’t stretch out or sag during the day!) and are super similar to the Wit and Wisdom jeans with the Ab-solution technology that we all know and love.  They boast a no gap waistband, slimming mesh panels, and booty lift technology. The jeans also come in a dark indigo, black, grey, and a non distressed version of the medium wash that I’m in below.

For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

And these mesh sneakers (that I’m wearing in ALL of the outfits above) are freaking fantastic.  Let’s review for those who haven’t seen me talk about them before:  Mine are the “apricot”, but I think they are more of a nice neutral taupe with maybe a hint of blush.  I’m typically a 6-6/12, and the 6s were good for me in these.

These sneakers are like no other sneakers I’ve ever had.  They almost feel like a thick and tight sock when wearing them, but they are obviously shoes because of the soles and the tread on the bottom.  I talked about these briefly last week, and I had some readers weigh in that already own them.  One reader said she “wore them all over Europe with no pain” and another said that she “pops them in the washing machine and they come out perfectly“.  Another said that she wears them without socks “but they never get stinky like her Converse“.  All really good information, right?

They come in TONS of colors and go on easily with just a little tug on the tabs in the back.

CAMO SNEAKERS AND OTHER GREAT FALL BASICS

Did y’all see the camo sneakers from Walmart that I talked about last week?  Click HERE to see them styled with boyfriend jeans. I still love them, but so many of you told me that they were out of your size, so I set out to find an alternative and found the ones below.  They aren’t under $10 like the Walmart ones, but they are still a good deal at just under $40.

Click HERE to see several other versions of these sneakers from the same maker.  One has laces, one has elastic bands where laces would be, and there’s even a high top version.  In addition to camo, there are tons of other color options as well…including leopard!

Here’s the same cream cardi as above, just styled differently. Just fyi, I’ve completely gotten over the fact that it’s not kitten soft, and I’m keeping it.  Tags are off, and it’s in my closet.  It’s just so cute, and I know I’ll get tons of use out of it.

This hooded pullover is crazy soft, lightweight, breathable, and not see thru.  I ordered it thinking I would wear it with leggings, but it’s cut much slimmer than I expected.  I love it with a 1/2 tuck with jeans, but it’s not enough of a relaxed fit to wear with leggings.

TRIED AND TRUE FAVORITES

I’ve got some tried and true favorites that I want to share again today because they have been restocked!!!

First of all, the tote!

The tote is reversible...so if you aren’t brave enough for the large leopard tote, you could reverse it for a cognac tote with an awesome leopard lining inside!  It comes in solid colors too, but I was drawn to the leopard.  It’s made of high quality vegan leather and has the cute little tassel that hangs off one of the straps.

The price is amazing at just under $45, but my one complaint is that there are no interior pockets.  However, this won’t be an issue if you pop in one of the bag organizers that we’ve talked about before!  This bag could definitely accommodate an XL organizer (they come in 3 sizes).

They call this a sweatshirt, but I think it’s more like a jersey hoodie.  I also happen to think it’s awesome.  I sized up to a medium, and I’m glad I did.  It is reallllllllllly soft and comfortable.It would also be cute with regular blue jeans.

I wasn’t sure about this next tee, but I wanted to give it a try because it was different than all of my other tees.  It has a small turtleneck and a boxy fit, but the material is so soft and comfy and it drapes nicely!

These are the earrings I grabbed for Fall last year and they are now available again!

They are all lightweight, DARLING, and UNDER $10!  And if you click through to the shape you like, you’ll see that there are tons of color choices in each style.

And yes, some of my favorite pajamas are from Amazon too!  I’m wearing the dark blue stripe.  As always, I ordered a medium in the pajamas because I never want to be wearing pajamas that are too snug.  The mediums in the bottoms are a bit big on me, but I do think I require a medium in the top for it not to pull.  If you have a smaller chest, I think you could stick with your regular size and still have room.

I’m very impressed with the quality on these.  They are VERY soft, VERY stretchy, and VERY comfy.  I’ve washed them no less than 20 times, and they hold up beautifully in the wash!
