AMAZON FASHION HAUL | 2019 PRIME DAY

IT’S PRIME DAY!

This is my first time to cover Prime Day, and I’m so excited!  Prime Day launched in the middle of the night, and it will end tomorrow at midnight…so for the next 36 hours, THE DEALS ARE GOING TO BE INSANE.  We’re talking similar to Black Friday, but for Amazon Prime members.  And their home page is super organized, so definitely hop over there to navigate the ever changing deals!

WHY WE LOVE AMAZON

I don’t know about y’all, but Amazon Prime has become a part of almost daily life around our house.  Even if I’m not placing daily orders, we’re pretty much always in a constant state of adding things to cart.  The ease of finding something on Prime and having it delivered (most of the time FOR FREE) THE NEXT DAY is such an amazing modern convenience.  Just the other day Carter needed a temporary uniform for his new soccer team, and instead of running all over town, I was able to PRIME the jersey, the shorts, the socks and a new water bottle all to my house the next day.  Heck, two of the items were even delivered SAME DAY!  Not having to run around to different sporting good stores is a convenience that our parents never knew.  But I tell you what, I’m so thankful for it!

2 DAY PARADE OF EPIC DEALS

So all day today and tomorrow, Amazon is going to be showing off.  Prime Day is basically like an Amazon holiday, and there will be a constant parade of mind blowing deals!

Yesterday I scoured SKU lists with thousands of products.  I almost went cross eyed, but look at some of the great stuff I found!  These are fantastic deals all the time, but they are stupid good on Prime Day.  I already have #3 and #8, and I’m grabbing #1, #6, and #10 today.  The flats (#5) look like the nude Vince Camuto flats I’ve worn for years.

My Monthly Amazon Fashion Haul

I found so many awesome pieces for y’all today, so get ready!  I MEAN, LOOK HOW CUTE!

I know you know I love a romper, and this one is no exception.  This brand is always super soft, fits great, and washes well.  And I love the little stripe on this one.  I’m wearing a small in the romper, a medium in the jacket, and the sandals are true to size.

And the sandals are ON SALE!  These have been my most worn sandals of the summer.

This tunic tee is from the same brand as the romper above….and I don’t know how it’s possible….but it’s even softer than the romper.  It’s a relaxed and boxy fit, and I love it.  I’m wearing a small in the tee.  This top would look great with white jeans, denim jeans, black jeans, and grey jeans.  It would also look awesome with a pair of joggers!

When I am wearing pants in the house (it does happen occasionally), it’s almost always an elastic waistband.  I love these little shorts I found and want them in all the colors.  I sized up to a medium because I always want plenty of room in my lounge wear.

The shorts are ONLY $12.50!  Sizes are limited.  And fyi, this is the Walmart tee THAT I LOVE.  It’s a thicker tee than my Madewell tees, and it’s awesome.

This dress comes in 12 colors, but I went for the navy.  I styled it with my ON SALE sandals, my rainbow tassel earrings (only $10.99 ) and this darling little clutch (only $15.99), and I had myself a cute little outfit.

The dress is fully lined and well made.  I’m wearing a small, but could actually use a medium for some extra room in the chest.  It’s kind of a cap sleeve, so keep that in mind if you don’t like your upper arms showing.

I wasn’t sure how this dress was going to look on me with my chest, but I like it!  I do think it would be even better on somebody with a flatter chest.

I love a baby doll dress, and the material of this one feels and looks like a linen.  The line across the top hits me mid chest, which I thought would be an issue, but I still like the dress.  I think the little pleats are precious.  Again, I’m wearing a small, but could probably use a medium.

I showed this dress last month styled for Summer, but I wanted to show you the same dress styled more for Fall! #versatile

All I did was grab a necklace with some Fall colors and choose a denim jacket with a darker wash (that was already in my closet).  Remember, this is the dressed I dubbed THE TRAVEL DRESS.  So comfy, so cute, and perfect for travel.

It’s a heavier knit than just a regular t-shirt, and I like that!  It is a relaxed fit, but not sloppy.  The trim around the neck is same as the trim around the armholes, which I will show you on instastories.  I’m wearing a small.

I love a peasant blouse and I’m feeling the mustard, but if you’re not a mustard girl, it comes in several other colors.

Yep, I’m wearing a Walmart tee again.  They truly are great.

And just like the striped maxi above, you saw this rust tiered skirt a couple of months ago.  In May I styled it with a white tee and my stonewashed denim jacket.  It looked all sorts of summer (click HERE to see).

I took the same skirt and got it Fall ready with a darker tee, a darker jacket, and a necklace with great Fall colors.

The skirt is a really cute fit, and I love this rusty color.  I ordered the small and the medium, and I preferred the fit of the medium because it gave me a little extra length.  (This is the only solid color it comes in, but it comes in several patterns as well.)

Well, I’ve got another super soft maxi for y’all.  I’m wearing a small, and I’m showing it on stories with a white denim jacket.  I loved the bold black and white floral.

BEST OF THE BEST FROM PREVIOUS MONTHS

Since I know many of you will be filling your carts today, I thought I would review some of the best of the best from my favorite Amazon fashion brands from all of my previous hauls!

Let’s start with these undies!  Awhile back I asked on instastories if there were certain Amazon finds that were y’alls favorites, and several of you raved about these undies.  So I got them.  #yalltoldmeto

And y’all were right.  They’re good.  And I can’t believe the price! They are very soft, very light weight, and they stay put! AND THEY ARE CHEAP!  Click HERE for the undies.

Changing gears and showing you a long sleeve wrap dress (with FANTASTIC reviews) that is beautifully made and rings in at just $35.  It comes in several colors, including a great leopard!

The material is sturdy, it doesn’t wrinkle, and it’s not see thru.  It reminds me very much of the famous DVF wrap dresses that are extremely popular, but much more expensive.  This is a great staple to have in your closet.

With the black, I do not see panty lines, but I’m not sure if that would be the same case with lighter color dresses.

If you have a larger chest, you will probably want to add a snap to make sure it stays closed properly.  This is a true wrap dress, and I think a snap would help guard against any wardrobe malfunctions.

I’ve got another dress for you, but this one is much more casual.  It’s just a regular ol’ t-shirt dress, but I’m telling you, you’ll reach for it time and time again.  This one is a dark olive green, but it comes in different heathered solids and some stripe combos well.

It’s a good one and is under $17.  I’m wearing a small.

I’m wearing a small, but I need to size up to a medium for a more relaxed fit.

I tried this sweater on towards the end of my try on session, and I was exhausted.  I should have shown you how great it looks with white denim too, but I didn’t have it in me, so you’re just going to have to trust me on this.  It looks GREAT with white denim.  It’s a perfect sweater to wear on chilly Spring and Summer nights, and it comes in 25 colors!

And please pay attention my denim shorts that are UNDER $15  (and from Walmart!).

Here’s the dress I styled for Fall above, but styled here for summer.  It really is THE TRAVEL DRESS that everybody should have.

Want a romper that you can live in?  Look no further.  It’s soft and comfy enough to wear to sleep, but it’s cute enough that you can wear it around town as well.  Slip it on and go!  I’m wearing my regular small, and it’s still got room.  I haven’t washed it yet, but I read reviews that said it washes well.  It also comes in navy, black, and a small stripe!

Oh.  AND IT HAS POCKETS.

It also comes in a sleeveless version from the same maker HERE and a sleeveless jumpsuit version HERE. Both have FANTASTIC reviews.  Any of these would be great to throw on with a denim jacket for travel.

The metallic and cognac sandals are awesome too. They aren’t from Amazon, but they are soooo cute, true to size, and ONLY $21.95 right now!

This is totally basic, BUT I LOVE IT.

I bought it in the heathered navy a couple of posts ago, so I knew I would wear this one all the time too.  I sized up in this, even though all other reviewers say either true to size or size down. It is really oversized, but I like it that way.  Still, I wouldn’t suggest sizing up.  Your regular size should be just fine.

It’s SUPER SOFT, CRAZY GOOD, and I just feel good in it!

This tunic tee is soft (a luxe jersey!), very forgiving, hides a mid-section well (not that any of us have one that needs to be hidden #winkwink), and is definitely long enough to be worn with leggings if you desire and it definitely covers the hiney.  It’s not clingy at all, and although it’s large, it drapes nicely. I really like the longer drop sleeves and how the pattern reverses on the cuff.

I’m wearing a small, but I might have even been able to go with the x-small.  I went with the stripes (because STRIPES), but it comes in several solids as well.  AND Y’ALL.  It’s ONLY $14!!!

This tee is from Daily Ritual, and it’s one of the Amazon brands that I’ve definitely come to trust.  So far, everything I’ve ordered from this brand has been top notch quality!

This next picture highlights a couple of finds from previous month’s posts.

Here’s a tunic tee from March that I am continuing to love so much!  (Click HERE to see it with army green cargo pants from Amazon and my denim jacket.)

I’m wearing it with my super soft cardi that I introduced y’all to back in February I believe.  I have been wearing the heck out of it, and it’s still available in 4 colors.  I highly recommend both the tee and the cardi.

This is one of those tops that I reach for weekly.  It’s just so easy to throw on and look put together with no effort.  It’s also from Daily Ritual.

Mine is the “blue heather”, but it comes in several other solids too.  The fit is perfectly slouchy, and the hood and ties make it extra cute!  As you can see, I’ll be wearing it casually with both jeans and shorts.  I’m wearing a small, so it’s true to size.

This is the same tunic tee you saw above with the button fly jeans, but now I’ve styled it with some new pants!  And try to act surprised, they are Daily Ritual too.  They’re not too tight, they’re not too loose, they’re just right.  I grabbed the olive, but they come in 4 other colors.  (Be careful though, one reviewer mentioned that the cream colored ones are a bit see thru.)

Because I don’t travel a lot, I wouldn’t have thought of this, but some reviewers mentioned that they are great for travel because they are so lightweight and pack very easily.

Also great for travel, these low profile wedges.  They are comfy, true to size, a little bit sporty looking, and UNDER $40!  They come in tons of color choices, including a snake skin and a fabulous leopard!

Another super soft and crazy comfy dress.  Apparently, I can’t get enough. The picture on the right shows you how you can tie up the side slit for a super casual look. This dress would even be great with flip flops as a beach cover up.  You could also dress it up with statement earrings and tall wedges.

The leopard tote is back in stock!

First of all, the tote is reversible...so if you aren’t brave enough for the large leopard tote, you could reverse it for a cognac tote with an awesome leopard lining inside!  It comes in solid colors too, but I was drawn to the leopard.  It’s made of high quality vegan leather and has the cute little tassel that hangs off one of the straps.

The price is amazing at under $40, but my one complaint is that there are no interior pockets.  However, this won’t be an issue if you pop in one of these bag organizers (click HERE for the post where I originally reviewed it)!  This bag could definitely accommodate an XL organizer (they come in 3 sizes).

The site calls this a sweatshirt, but I think it’s more like a jersey hoodie.  I also happen to think it’s awesome.  I sized up to a medium, and I’m glad I did.  It is reallllllllllly soft and comfortable.

I’m wearing my regular 27s in the shorts.  And in case you are new around these parts, these are my favorite denim shorts I’ve ever owned.

I wasn’t sure about this next tee, but I wanted to give it a try because it was different than all of my other tees.  It has a small turtleneck and a boxy fit, but the material is so soft and comfy and it drapes nicely! It’s also chic enough to be dressed up with leopard flats and gold statement earrings!

And the last outfit today, but definitely not the least…

A reader (shout out, Sam!) recommended to me that I try this button up.  THANK YOU, SAM!  I often have trouble with button ups pulling, so I didn’t have high hopes.  BUT I LOVE IT.  I went with a medium, which I most often do in button ups, and I liked the fit a lot.

Just for fun, I took a look at my Amazon order history to see the 3 last things I primed:  1.  a stroller fan for the Nordstrom dressing room try on session (one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!), 2. this self tanner (on special right now and I absolutely LOVE this one!  best one I’ve ever used!), and 3. this shirt in black gingham!

UPDATE:  I just saw that the pretty little halo studs I talked about last month just went on PRIME DAY DEAL! It’s hard to capture how sparkly they are in a photograph, but this picture shows the studs with the halo around them. They have stellar reviews and come packaged very nicely in a black jewelry box.
