Everybody loves a good sale, right? There’s just something about getting an item you love and feeling like you got it for a great price. I mean, I’m that girl that if you compliment my shirt in the line at the grocery store, I’ll respond excitedly (and maybe a tad dramatically) with “Thank you so much! I got it for $16!!!!!!”. I just can’t help myself.
Sharing things I love with y’all is of course a passion of mine, but I get really fired up when those things are on sale as well! So, today’s post is simple. I’m working with Nordstrom and sharing some of my favorite items from their current sale. A couple of the things I already owned went on sale, so I will of course be sharing those. And then at the end of the post, I’ll share some new to sale items that I like too! Let’s get started!
I’ve shown this sweater (but in the neutral color) 3 times over the last couple of weeks. It’s now 40% OFF, which makes it only $35.40! That’s a super reasonable price for a great basic sweater that will become a work horse in your closet. I love my neutral one so much, but I felt like it was high time this pretty rust color got some attention too. I paired it with a great pair of military green skinny cargo pants and my trusty denim jacket. And my cognac wedges that are also ON SALE!
Size References: I’m wearing a small in the sweater (which is true to size for me), and it’s perfectly loose…without being boxy. Some have said that they sized down, and you might want to do this if you have a smaller chest (or just prefer a more fitted sweater). I happened to like the way my regular size small fit me. I’m wearing a small in the jacket (true to size), but you might consider sizing up if you are planning on wearing thicker layers under it or just want a little extra room. I’m wearing a 27 in the pants, which is true to size for me. Usually a 27 is considered a 4, but these pants listed their 27s equivalent as a 6. Sometimes companies do this and whenever they do, I also default to the inches sizing. I went with my regular 27 (even though they were described it as a 6), and the 27s worked great on me.
Don’t you just love the colors in the necklace? And although it looked great with this sweater, I know it’s going to look awesome with my bright and happy springy and summery colors as well!
Sadly, my exact studded bag is no longer available, but I’ve linked a great cognac cross body bag option HERE. And please notice my arm party. I’m wearing my favorite blingy bangle, and I’ve stacked it with this great brass and “leather” wrap bracelet.
I loved how it all came together and thought it was perfect for a casual night out with the family. And as much as I loved the rust sweater with the olive pants, it would look just as great with my white distressed skinny jeans (and you can find some boyfriend jeans HERE) for a fresh spring look!

I know some of you have expressed interest that you wish there was a denim jacket that was the same cut as my above jacket…but not stone washed…and not the dark denim either. Well, now they’ve got it! Click HERE.
And you know you couldn’t leave without a close up of the back of these fun wedge booties (mine are the “Chestnut”). The “wood” heel, the loops and ties, the suede and the leather…I love everything about them. I wear them most often with ankle jeans and pants, but they are also tall enough for me to wear with my boot cut jeans when it’s cooler weather (and I can’t wear an open toe wedge).
And here’s the indoor shot for those that prefer it.
Now before you go today, I want to highlight some FABULOUS sale items. You can click HERE for the entire sale. These chunky studs have been a favorite of mine (and y’alls!) for over a year now. And now they come in some new color combinations. 2 pair come on one card for $9.98, so that’s quite a deal! The bar pendant keeps (going in and out of stock), and the fringe pendant also comes in black and white.
Click HERE for the AG legging ankle jean without any distressing! And I’ve gotta say, if you have an extra 5 seconds in your day, you have to click HERE and read the latest review. I want to be this girl’s friend. 😉
THIS would be a great jacket heading into Spring.
Here are some other the sale items. Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
Have a great Monday, y’all!
Oh, don’t forget that this Wednesday is What’s up Wednesday with Shay and Mel. I won’t be participating since it’s my Bachelor Recap day, but you can still link up on with Shay or Mel! Bonus Question: What’s your favorite beauty product?
