which is strange considering it is 105 degrees outside today.
Come on fall!!!
Yes. That’s right.
You’ve got 4 styles to choose from.
Below is the boot cut, but there are also some cuffed versions (distressed and non-distressed) and a light colored skinny jean.
Click HERE for all Vigoss jeans.
But if you need guidance on which ones I tried on, click HERE for my post!
And did I mention…THEY ARE UNDER $50!?!
And one more thing….
The MUST HAVE shirt is TOTALLY back in stock! Every color, every size.
It’s no longer on sale, but I promise it’s worth the regular price.
If there is a color you really want that you weren’t able to get, get it now!!!!
They even have the color in my picture, but it always sells out pretty quickly.
Remember it runs big so order 1 size down for sure!
Except for Algebra.
She says “I just want to go home.” and my heart is breaking for her.
Her emotions are so raw and so real, and the girl can’t stop crying.
I’m not kidding when I say there was probably at least 20 seconds (which in t.v. time seemed like AT LEAST 20 days) of Chris shaking his head back and forth and Des sniffing.
Harrison mentions the remaining 2 guys and asks if she wants to continue.
She says her heart has been broken, but her spirit hasn’t been.
She decides she wants to carry on.
(Of course she does. She has 13 producers behind the camera guys waving a contract around in the air and telling her she has no choice.)
Drew and Chris show up, and Harrison comes out to say that Brooks isn’t there (and I’m pretty sure both guys had to hold back from doing a happy dance). Des comes out and tells the guys that Brooks left on his own, and she can barely get through it.
And if you didn’t watch, I mean it when I say SHE CAN BARELY GET THROUGH IT.
Chris and Drew both look genuinely upset that Des is upset, which is very sweet.
But I have to wonder….
are they not concerned at all THAT SHE IS THIS UPSET?
Des pleads with them to let her know if they don’t want to accept the rose.
And for a split second, I had this horrible vision of her giving the remaining boys the rose and them being all “Peace Out Babe, you clearly still have the hots for Brooks” and then her running and jumping off the pier never to be seen or heard from again.
That didn’t happen.
Here they are hugging her after accepting their roses.
It is so very obvious that both of the guys are totally and completely invested.
They are both ready to propose and live happily ever after.
But here’s the kicker.
Des loves Brooks.
At this point, I was still 100% sure that Brooks was coming back.
And I was feeling super sorry for both remaining guys.
We come back from commercial break and see Des writing in her journal.
I’m imagining that it says something like this:
WHAT THE HELL?
Des gets dressed and throws on a 1/4 shirt (can’t even be classified as a 1/2 shirt) and what looks like a pair of black sweat pants. Interesting choie.
(To be fair, if I had abs like she does, I’m pretty sure I’d be wearing 1/4 shirts ALL DAY LONG. AND TWICE ON SUNDAY.)
She and Drew go horseback riding.
Party of 2,
and a couple of horses.
After the horseback riding FAIL the two are on the beach, and the producers have piped Des’s voice in saying that she is basically just NOT feeling it all with Drew and
that she is going to let him know it right then and there.
At that exact point Drew gives a toast and says “To being madly in love.”
Des then gives him the old “it’s not you, it’s me” speech and sends him on his way.
This is Drew’s confused look.
I feel ya Drew.
But before he goes, let’s take just a minute to talk about how pretty Drew is.
I mean. There is NO DENYING that this is one of the prettiest boys I’ve ever laid eyes on.
But pretty in a good way.
I do however question the one curl falling ever so gently onto his forehead.
Bye Bye Drew.
You’re pretty, but you’re boring.
So, just to update you on how I was feeling at this point….
I’m still 100% that Brooks is coming back.
And I’m imagining what it will be like when she turns around and sees him and then jumps into his arms and wraps her legs around them
(because we all know that is a requirement on The Bachelorette.)
Now it’s Chris’s turn.
I find myself wondering the following:
Is she even going to go on the date? Is she just going to send him packing with Drew?
Well, they do go on the date and it goes much better than the time spent with Drew.
MUCH LESS AWKWARD.
Well, except for when he walked up to her and said “Welcome.”
That was weird.
Des even seemed to be enjoying herself a bit on their date.
And you know what…I really REALLY started liking them together!
Chris pulls out a journal out of his bedside table (NO CHRIS NO! PLEASE! NO MORE POETRY!), and she says “You are so cute.”
I’ve noticed that she says that to Chris A LOT.
And isn’t “You are so cute!” pretty much code for “you’re nice, but I don’t want to get it on with you”?
So, even though I like Chris, I’m thinking that Des is probably about to give him the boot too.
Don’t you guys remember? She wants to run to the finish line with Brooks.
But then it cuts to Des in a 1:1 interview.
She’s bawling her head off…like seriously crying her face off….and she says that nobody has ever loved her like Chris loves her.
She says it feels amazing.
This is the starting point for my extreme confusion.
I start to question my belief that Brooks is going to come back, but I quickly dismiss any doubts I have and again feel like he’ll be showing back up any second.
Chris meets Des’s family.
Brother Nate is grilling Chris, but he is holding his own.
The brother just won’t stop.
To sum up the family time.
The brother is SUCH A TOOL.
And it is me, or is Chris MUCH cuter tonight than he was in the past?
He asks for Des’s hand in marriage, and the dad gives him his okay.
Although I’m thinking it doesn’t really matter because at this point I’m still 100% sure that Brooks is coming back.
Des sits down with her reject brother.
And you can tell that she is SO ANNOYED with him.
Not just kinda annoyed.
Like, I wish you weren’t my brother anymore annoyed.
Like I kinda wish you would just stop breathing and drop dead annoyed.
We see Des and Chris both looking over balconies.
And at this point I feel it necessary to say my feelings are now wavering.
I’m now only 99.9% sure Brooks is coming back.
You see Chris walking, and you just know he’s on his way to meet Neil Lane.
The door opens, and Brooks is already sitting their with Neil picking out a ring.
(But that would have been good, right?)
Brooks isn’t there, but Neil is.
Chris picks a gorgeous ring.
Des puts on her dress.
She cries some more about how much Chris loves her….
but she’s still not really saying how much she loves Chris.
I’m now only like 98.3% sure ol’ Brooks is coming back.
She walks up to the little proposal area that they have set up, and there is now only like 15 minutes left in the show. My “sureness” takes a nose dive, and I’m now only around 80% sure that Brooks is about to surface.
What is wrong with me?
Why am I still expecting him to show up?
I’m so sure.
What’s he going to do at this point?
Jump out of the bushes?
Chris gets out of the limo, takes several deep breaths, and heads to the proposal circle.
He immediately starts professing his love, but I can’t really get a read on her.
And then, just as you can tell he is about to drop to one knee,
everything in me starts screaming “DON’T DO IT CHRIS! DON’T GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEE!”
Just when he is about make the drop, Des tells him to wait and that she
Okay, now it’s time for After the Final Rose.
Des comes out looking gorgeous…but also looking like she could hurl at any given moment.
First up, Brooks comes out.
I know a lot of people are hating on Brooks, but I have lots of respect for the guy.
He didn’t get caught up in all of the hoopla and he followed his heart,
even though it didn’t lead him to Des.
Good for him for not drinking The Bachelorette kool-aid!
Was it just me or did Des look like she wanted to jump in Brooks’ arms and have him whisk her right out of the studio to a fantasy suite that she felt like she had been cheated out of in Antigua?
After seeing her reaction to seeing Brooks, I now want to bet you $10,020 that it
doesn’t last with Chris.
I think it is SO SO obvious that the girl still has it bad for Brooks.
I felt like she was looking at him wistfully and with longing.
Is anybody else with me on this?
Drew comes out…and there’s some more awkwardness.
Plus I find myself angry at Drew.
HOW IS HIS WAIST SO SMALL?
Then Chris comes out.
Chris is GENUINELY over the moon happy.
Des’s smile seems to be a bit forced.
He pulled out ANOTHER poem (I couldn’t make this stuff up), and Des said “You’re so cute” again.
She doesn’t love him.
So, that’s it.
The season is over.
And I can’t even tell you how excited I am about that.
I wish I had some really funny way to wrap it all up, but the fact is, I’m tired.
Tired of the show.
Tired of the shennanigans.
Tired of it all.
So, instead….I will just say……
until next season!
Something tells me this guy might recharge my Bachelor battery!
