Now, without further ado, here’s Mandy!
Hey y’all! 
I’m Mandy Rose and I have a lifestyle blog called House of Rose where I write about 
home decor, diy, fashion, adoption and my life as a boy mom. 
I also have a blog that is co-authored by my hubby called Dollars and Roses where we teach people how we have turned our blogs into successful online businesses. 
My most recent venture? I’m the co-founder of Happy Mommy Box! A monthly subscription service to encourage and inspire mothers. 
I grew up thinking I would be a mama to all sassy girls, but God had different plans for me. He has blessed me with THREE wild and crazy boys. In the last week I have dressed up as a superhero, played GI Joes and attended my first WWE live event. I wouldn’t trade their dirt-loving-bug-finding-spiderman-pretending ways for anything in this world.

But one thing I haven’t lost as a boy mom is my desire to get all prettied up! I absolutely adore fashion. 

And while on most days my style is yoga pants and a hoodie…I love to get dressed up and accessorize.

The thing about me and my style is that I get on “kicks”. Do y’all ever do that?

And I apologize because I am still on my chevron kick. I don’t even care that it’s going out of style. 

There is just something about chevron that captivates me. Every time.  
Especially multi-colored chevron.

Luckily Pinterest has been a huge source of style inspiration for me and has helped me go from looking like a frumpy mom to a boy mom fashionista.

Well, maybe not quite a fashionista…but I can pretend, right?

I mean…I even wore bright pink lip stick last week. A first for me.

For the last 32 years I have been avoiding any type of color on my lips in fear that I would look “overdone”. I feel like I have been depriving myself. Man do I love the newfound lips I have created!

It’s interesting how much sassier you feel with some bright pink lips. 😉 

You should try it. 
I love the Tarte lip color because it stays on your lips FOREVER and it doesn’t kiss off if you are trying to smooch on the hubs. Or in my case, the littles before they head off to school. You know how NOT COOL it would be if they showed up at school with kiss marks on their cheeks. Trust me.

Thanks so much for allowing me to do some girly stuff Sheaffer! Being stuck around boys all the time will get to ya. Ha!

    I have the chevron Toms and the black Kut from the Kloth faux leather jacket. Love them both and bought them around the anniversary sale. It is always nice to buy things when they are on sale (even though the Toms were not on sale). I will admit that I only thought Nordstrom's carried expensive clothing lines since I don't have one near me. I shop there more now than ever and crack up when I see the reactions of others around here when they ask where I got it from and I say Nordstrom's. I think they have the same perspective. Thanks again for your awesome finds on the sale items.
