She is all sorts of fabulous, and you guys are just going to love her.

So without further ado….here’s Nina!
I keep myself busy on a daily basis being a wife, mom to two babies, and lifestyle blogger.
On my blog, I share snapshots of my every day life as well as posts
on topics ranging from parenting, entertaining, gift giving, fashion,
and product reviews… sometimes a little more… sometimes a little
less! But I’m always dedicated to bringing the very best products,
resources, and ideas to my readers.
I was so excited when Sheaffer asked me to guest post here on Pinterest Told Me To. I was introduced to Sheaffer by my very good friend Erin, otherwise known as the Blue-Eyed Bride. Earlier this Summer, I got to know Sheaffer a little better when we teamed up with a group of bloggers to host the big Erin Condren Life Planner giveaway. She is a lot of fun to work with and her enthusiasm is contagious! I love that about her.
I kicked around a few ideas, but I
kept going back to my original plan. My Pinterest Vest from J.Crew!
When I think about the phrase, “Pinterest Told Me To…” This vest is
the first thing that comes to mind. And with Fall right around the
corner, I thought it just made sense!
I saw this vest last Fall while shopping on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. I
passed it up (for the bargain price of full retail) because I was
disappointed it was a herringbone print and not actually herringbone
wool.
Then, no lie, no more than two weeks later, it hit Pinterest! Big time.
It was everywhere and also sold out on the J.Crew website.
I’m not one to normally buy into the craze, but I did for this vest. I
just had to have one. I set up saved searches on eBay (with
notifications and reminders too). I think I lost three auctions before
finally winning the prize. My Pinterest Vest!
And let me tell you. It was one of the best purchases I have ever made.
(Even if I had to pay more than retail.) I LOVE this thing! I dress it
up for church and I dress it down for weekdays… Last Winter, I even
wore it with my baby bump and yoga pants. It also looks great over a
black cashmere sweater for those extra chilly days.

I picked up the following two things.
This paisley print blouse HERE . I think it will look great with my Vigoss cuffed jeans and these booties or my skinny jeans and my tall wedge boots!
I also threw THIS necklace in my cart.
It is so dainty and pretty and is the PERFECT necklace to layer with a shorter necklace.
It looks totally “blah”on the website, but it is so SO pretty in person!
I also liked this sweater. It was very thin, so you might prefer to wear a cami under it,
but I liked that about it.

Thank you!! You are so sweet. I fell in love with the classic green Hunters when I attended Martha Stewart's show in NYC over 5 years ago. Most of her production staff was running around in leggings and Hunters… it was the beginning of the "wearing leggings as pants" era! I bought them before I left the city. 🙂

After I saw the photo of the vest, I had a "I have to have one" moment. I love it. So, I checked online but they were sold out. I then began calling around to various J. Crew Factory stores. I actually located one in my size in Florida. It arrived today and it is perfect! I can't wait to wear it. Thank you, Nina, for this post. You have added a great fall/ winter addition to my closet.
FYI- when I was calling other store the Charleston, SC store did have a few large and x- large vests in stock.
