Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Influencer Level Can Shop Now!

I know many of you have been waiting for what seems like a sweet forever for today!  If you are “Influencer” status at Nordstrom, today is the day you can finally shop! The new level is unlocked at 8:30 a.m. CST, so you can start moving items from your Wish List to your bag at that time!  Most items are still hanging on with stock, but I’m betting that today is the day that we start to see popular items sell out.

I’ve got lots more picks at the bottom of today’s post, but we are going to start out with the itty bitty boot cut jeans in the Anniversary Sale  They are worth every penny of their $78 price tag, but RIGHT NOW YOU CAN GET THEM FOR ONLY $49.90.  And that’s a total steal.  More on the jeans in a minute…

The navy floral blouse isn’t part of the Anniversary Sale (which means anybody can buy it today), and it’s super cute.  It’s got a split neck with ties, a pretty navy floral pattern, little pleats and gathers on the sleeves, and a flowy fit.  I’m wearing a medium because I wanted it a little blousy.  And as always, when you buy Treasure & Bond items, Nordstrom will donate 2.5% of net sales to organizations that work to empower youth.  (This sweater is from Treasure and Bond and probably a Top 5 item for me from the sale – I grabbed it in black and pink, but the stock on it is going fast).

And you’ll notice I’m wearing my must have earrings again!!!  You haven’t seen them on the blog for several months now because I could only find one…..well I finally found the other one!  #backinrotationbaby

I think the bracelets are both so dainty and pretty.  The stars are a lot of fun.

Now, it’s time to talk about the jeans…

These itty bitty boot cut jeans are part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

I got my first pair (a super dark wash) like 5 years ago and named them a MUST HAVE way back then.  Then I got a light wash and showed them to you just last month (but the popular sizes sold out really fast).

WELL TODAY I’VE GOT THIS GREAT MEDIUM WASH!  And they are UNDER $50 right now.  SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.

And they are just as wonderful and magical as the other itty bitty boot cut jeans I’ve shown in the past.  They lengthen your legs, they slim you out, they are incredibly comfortable, and they will make you look AND FEEL great.  I’m wearing my regular size 4, but size down if between sizes.  I wear 3 inch block heels with them, and they are the perfect length on me.  I wouldn’t recommend ordering the petites unless you are 5’2″ and under.  And if you are 5’7″ or over, the regular length will probably be too short on you if you aren’t wearing with flat shoes.

This is a great early Fall look.  And if you switched out the booties for wedges, you could definitely wear it right now!

I took these pics before the sale started since Wit and Wisdom sent me the jeans to preview , and I was wearing last year’s booties.  But I recommend this pair of neutral booties from this year’s sale that I grabbed for myself and love.  I settled on the “tortilla suede”.

I’ve shared this a million times before, but these are the jeans I call the gateway jeans.  Once you try them, you will want to try others from the brand for sure.

After trying just 1 pair, many become loyal fans of the brand, and some pretty much end up only wearing Wit and Wisdom denim.  BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD.  And once you try jeans with so much stretch that make you look fantastic, why in the world would you stray? MORE ANNIVERSARY SALE PICKS

I’ve got several new picks for y’all today, but to make it easy, I thought I should go ahead and highlight the favorite shoes that were highlighted on Friday’s post. These were the shoes I purchased for myself.  And I ended up ordering these mules with the chain in “tan suede” when I got home (definitely size up a 1/2).  I saw them in a couple of my pics when I was writing a blog post and I kept thinking about them, so I caved!  Ha!

And remember, I also ordered these rose gold sneakers for myself, even thought they are from the little kid’s department.  What can I say, the rose gold spoke to me.  I’m a 6.5, I ordered a 5.5, and they arrived yesterday and are perfect.  UPDATE:   I put the rose gold sneakers on again today, and although they fit, I realized that they are way too wide across the toes. So they are now going back. I’m so sad!  And don’t forget I already had these leopard flats and these Sorel booties  which I already loved and adored.

Let’s start out with a seriously cute and cozy outfit.  I love this full jogger set.

The top is lightweight and incredibly cozy. I’m wearing a small in this one, but I would prefer the x-small.

These joggers are super soft, made out of the same cozy fleece as the top, and you’re going to want to wear them 24/7.  I’m also wearing the regular smalls in the joggers; HOWEVER, they do have quite a bit of room.  I actually prefer these joggers in a petite small on my frame.  I have them pulled up a bit on my calves here to achieve the kind of cropped look.

So yeah, once you put the set on, you’re not going to want to take any of it off.  But that’s okay.  I will support you in your quest for comfort.

Here’s the same set as above, but in olive. I showed it to you last week, but I thought you needed to see it here again. Because it’s 2020, y’all.  And I feel like it should be officially declared the year of the jogger.

This pullover is still super soft, but it’s got a little more style.  The color block has fun animal print choices, and the top is banded at the hem.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the top.

Here’s 1 more jogging set option.

I think it’s a cool and modern take on a jogger set!  I love this black/grey version, but there are 4 combos and I really like the blush/wine combo too.  I’m wearing a small in the top and the joggers, although I would prefer a petite small in the joggers.

I’ve had a lot of questions on if the joggers are thin. They are thin, but it’s one of the reasons I like them!  I would maybe steer away from the super light options, but mine in grey and olive aren’t see thru at all.  (The only reason I don’t have black is because #doghair.)

As long as we’re talking about cozy, let’s continue the conversation.

You can’t get much cozier than the items seen here, but the bralette shown is almost out of stock.

Luckily, this bralette also has fantastic reviews and the stock is holding better.  I ordered it to try for myself, so I will report back, but the reviews are really amazing so you might want to grab it before it’s gone too.  I know I just declared 2020 the year of the joggers, but maybe it should be declared the year of the bralette.  I mean, WHO NEEDS UNDERWIRE RIGHT NOW.

Let’s talk sizes:  I wear the x-small/small in the blardigan, a medium in the bra (although the picture shows a large because it’s all they had and I needed a new one for this shot), and a small in the undies (although the picture shows mediums because I needed a new pair for the shot).

If you want an easy and inexpensive pajama set, I got you.  The tee is just under $12 and the pants are just under $20!  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the tee and a small in the pants.  Several color options available.

This year, the Anniversary Sale has lots of great graphic tee options!  I’m wearing a medium in the sweatshirt (it’s super soft on the inside) and a small in the Indoorsy tee.  I wish the cuffs were tighter on the tee, but I think the messaging is so on brand for 2020.  Haha!

This blouson sleeve wrap top is a great find.  It’s the super soft fleecy fabric that we know and love from Gibson, but it’s dressed up with the wrap front and the blouson sleeves!  It’s cute with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough to pair with a pencil skirt or work pants.  I’m wearing a small here, and it’s a much more fitted look than the other Gibson v neck tunics I showed earlier in the post.  It is tacked together at the chest, which I appreciate.

This twist hem top is just under $30 and an incredible value!  I love how it is drapes perfectly and has the adorable twist hem.  It’s great with jeans, but definitely nice enough for the office as well.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

You saw this sweater in “burgundy beet” last week, but I also wanted you to see the stripe!

This sweater is kind of a cross between a turtleneck and a cowl neck.  Whatever it is, I like it.  It’s a very soft chenille, and it’s long enough to cover your bum, but it’s also easy to do a 1/2 tuck with it if you’d like.  You won’t believe how many colors it comes in, as well as a couple of stripe combos.  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I can’t believe it’s only $34.90 right now!  In fact, I didn’t come home with one of these, but I just threw the rust in my cart.  I’m going to love it with regular denim, but think it’s going to be great with my grey jeans too!

This was Carter either a year or two ago with THE BEST VALUES OF THE ENTIRE SALE.

IT’S $24.90 y’all, it’s soft as all get out, it looks pretty (I love the fringe!), and it launders great.  Buy SEVERAL for your own home (just to keep your family from fighting over it), and then buy them as gifts too.  THIS BLANKET IS AMAZING.

Throw one over the back of your couch, throw one on the foot of your bed, and pile them up in a great basket.  You’re going to want to have plenty on hand or your family will fight over them.  I’m not even kidding.

And keep in mind that they make great gifts for pretty much EVERYBODY you will ever give a gift to.  Seriously, toddlers to grandmas and everybody in between loves this blanket.

This sweater is the perfect style, fit, and length for leggings. I especially love the little side slit and the snap detailing.  However, this oatmeal color was a little too sheer for my liking, and I think you would need a cami with this color specifically.  Just grab another color if you don’t want to deal with a cami.

Sizing Tips: I’m wearing a small in the sweater.  I’m wearing a medium in the leggings, and it took some effort on my part to get them on, but that could be because I was close to having a heat stroke in the dressing room.  Once they were on, they were quite comfortable!  I wear a small in Zella leggings for reference…but needed a medium in these.

You can see here that I’m wearing them with booties, but they would look amazing with tall boots.  You know how it’s sometimes hard to smoothly tuck your jeans into tall boots because of all the fabric?  Well, these SPANX denim leggings would totally fix that problem!  You would just slip your tall boots right on without having to fight with extra fabric.

Here’s a lightweight sweater that I’ve actually been wearing for a couple of years now, and I just can’t quit it.  It’s the super soft fleece material that Gibson is known for, and it really is amazing fabric.  It’s hard to see in the black, but it has a great little twist happening up front.  This top is great for those of you that don’t like doing a half tuck, even though you like the look.  This gives the illusion of a half tuck and is very flattering.  It also comes in several solids, a grey stripe, and the oatmeal animal print.

There are several different Charlotte Tilbury sets in the sale, and they all look awesome.  Two are make up sets and two are Magic Cream sets. I went with the less expensive Magic Cream set called the Glowing Skin Set (which they didn’t have in my store, but I ordered it).

Supergoop has several sets in the sale as well.  This Play sunscreen is a superfine mist, and the whole family loves it.  This set of 3 is an amazing deal.

Every single year I grab this NEST diffuser set for myself.  The grapefruit diffuser goes in my closet and the bamboo diffuser goes in the dining room.  They smell absolutely divine.
