Okay, Ladies!
Ambassadors….it’s YOUR TURN!!! It’s your time to shine! It’s the day for you to throw caution to the wind and throw some cardigans, jeans, and booties into your cart. This is going to be fun. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens at 8:30 a.m. CST, so if you’re an early riser, you have plenty of time to pour over this post and get a game plan.
Grab a Dr. Pepper (or a coffee if you’re a real adult) and a breakfast taco and LET’S GET BUSY.
Here’s what’s happening today.
I’m going to be showing you the BEST OF THE BEST. THE STUFF IS GOOD, Y’ALL. And although the post is long, please know that I tried on a ton of stuff that I’m not showing you today. If I tried it on and didn’t love it, I took it right off and didn’t even take a picture. Also, did you see yesterday that I revised my picks I made before the sale went live? Some of the things that I thought I was going to love, I didn’t. LIKE AT ALL. Click HERE and scroll to the bottom of the post to see that updated collage. There are big yellow Xs over things that I’m no longer recommending now that I’ve tried them. I’m looking at you camo sneakers I thought I was going to love. #ouch
Here’s a little peek at what you are going to see today!
SHOES
I want to start with shoes because I found several pair that I love this year! The 4 shoes I’m about to highlight are what you will see in all of the outfits in today’s post. You’ll also see these neutral mules, which I ended up ordering online when I got home. I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I also ordered these rose gold sneakers for myself, even thought they are from the little kid’s department. What can I say, the rose gold spoke to me. I’m a 6.5, I ordered a 5.5, and they arrived yesterday and are perfect. UPDATE: I put the rose gold sneakers on again today, and although they fit, I realized that they are way too wide across the toes. So they are now going back. I’m so sad! And don’t forget I already had these leopard flats and these Sorel booties (both at the bottom of today’s post) which I already loved and adored.
Time for a shoe parade!
Let’s break it down…
This “tan camel” is just the neutral I was looking for (but I wanted you to see the leopard too) in a great pair of neutral wedge sneakers! They are very easy to get on with the side zip and heel tab, and the the comfort level is ON POINT. I think a wedge sneaker like this is an essential part of a Fall wardrobe. They also come in a textured black. True to size for me.
THESE SLIP ON SNEAKERS ARE FANTASTIC. I hadn’t even noticed them when browsing online, but when I saw them in store, I knew I had to try them. They’ve got a tiny bit of a platform, are extremely comfortable, and they don’t slip off at all when walking. True to size for me.
Most sneakers like these that I’ve tried in the past tend to be a little too clunky for my taste, but not these! They have a slim profile and look very feminine. I went for the camo (even though it’s a darker camo than I would typically go for), but the “black” and the “pavement” are great options too and I love the texture on the solid colors.
These neutral block heel booties in “tortilla suede” are GORGEOUS. The color is beautiful and the stacked block heel is the perfect height (says 3 1/2″, but doesn’t feel that high at all). They are easy to walk in and quite comfy for a heeled bootie! I love these with skinny cropped jeans, with my boot cut jeans, and they’ll look good with Fall dresses too. True to size for me.
These leopard booties were a surprise to me. I didn’t love them online, but I LOVED them in person. The leopard pattern is so good, and the little studs are such a nice detail! I would normally think a stud was too much on a shoe like this, but I think they’re great on these! True to size.
JEWELRY
You will see the Michele watch, the blingy star necklace, the cuff bracelet, and the blingy hoop earrings in most of today’s outfits. I talked a little a bit about this on stories yesterday, but the picture on the link for the blingy star necklace is a bracelet. I called Nordstrom and talked to somebody on the online merchandising team, and the link is in fact for the necklace (the description states a 15″ chain). They are working on getting the picture changed, but it might be a couple of days. I’m wearing it in almost every outfit in today’s post, and I think it’s SO PRETTY.
That disc chain just just under $20 and the other 2 necklaces are under $40.
Michele watch / blingy star necklace / disc chain necklace / gold bar necklace / cuff bracelet / blingy hoop earrings
I’m so excited that I splurged on this Michele watch. I bought it before I even started trying on clothes because I wanted it in all of my outfit pics. Online I thought I liked the grey, but when I saw the navy in person, I knew it had to be mine. I’m not sure how many they have, but I think inventory may go fast on this since it’s such a great deal.
CLOTHES
This sweater is kind of a cross between a turtleneck and a cowl neck. Whatever it is, I like it. It’s a very soft chenille, and it’s long enough to cover your bum, but it’s also easy to do a 1/2 tuck with it if you’d like. You won’t believe how many colors it comes in, as well as a couple of stripe combos. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
This striped cross body bag screams Fall, and you’ll see that it goes with so many different outfits. And it not only goes with them, it kicks up the cute level too.
sweater / blingy hoop earrings / dark wash ankle jeans / striped cross body bag / neutral block heel booties
Let’s talk about THE JEANS I’m wearing above. Since I’m wearing them in the majority of the pictures on this post, I wanted to go ahead and take a closer look at them with y’all. I took this picture and wrote about them on Tuesday’s post, but they need a highlight again today since you’ll be seeing them over and over again today.
First off, these babies are $44.90. WHAT IN THE WORLD.
If you are looking for a classic pair of dark wash jeans with no distressing, LOOK NO FURTHER. I like distressing as much as the next gal, but I always need “clean” pairs in my closet as well. I love darker denim in Fall and Winter, and the dark wash makes them easy to dress up if you’d like. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. (I’m not wearing petite sizing in any of the jeans today.)
They are Wit and Wisdom, and they’ve got the Ab-Solution technology that we are all obsessed with. The power mesh panels slim and hold, they suck you in, but the jeans still manage to be super comfortable. Here’s the deal, I only wear jeans with stretch in them now. Life’s too short to wear non-stretchy jeans. Somebody needs to needlepoint that on a pillow.
I’m wearing them here with booties on the left and flats on the right so you can see that they work well with both. And they are skinny enough that they should also tuck nicely into tall boots too.
dark wash ankle jeans/ Sorel booties on left / leopard flats on right
This crewneck pullover sweater is definitely one of my favorite finds of this sale. It’s cozy, super soft, and I think it’s one of the best buys of the sale at ONLY $39.90. Make sure you size wayyyyyyy down. I’m wearing an x-small here, but I ended up actually grabbing these sweater in xx-smalls, and I am NEVER an xx small. Even the xx small is a relaxed fit.
In the next 2 pictures, you will see it in rust and black.
crewneck pullover sweater / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace/ striped Madewell bag / dark wash ankle jeans / leopard booties
This is the same sweater as above, but in rust. It’s a beautiful Fall color. I love how this outfit came together with all of the warm neutral colors in the sweater, bag, and booties. Remember to size way down in the sweater, I have it in an xx small.
The Tory Burch cross body bag is the other bag I bought in the sale. It’s an incredible deal, and I love how chic and classic it is with the gold chain, logo, and color combination.
crewneck pullover sweater / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace/ Tory Burch cross body bag / dark wash ankle jeans / neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
And now the same sweater in black! I told you it was a good one!
These leopard jeans were another surprise for me. Aren’t they fabulous? They’ve got a great amount of stretch and are incredibly flattering! They’d be great fun on a date night or a girl’s night out. I’m wearing my regular size 4 in these. And one reminder to size way down in the sweater. I grabbed the xx small.
crewneck pullover sweater / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace/ leopard jeans / neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
This leopard blouse is perfect for the office with a pair of nice black pants or a pencil skirt, but I think it looks awesome with jeans too. It’s classic, but totally sassy at the same time. It just flows nicely and isn’t clingy at all. I’m wearing a medium.
leopard blouse / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / coin pendant necklace/ Tory Burch cross body bag / dark wash ankle jeans / neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
LADIES.
HOW FLIPPING DARLING IS THIS BLAZER.
Here’s the first thing you need to know about it…drum roll please…it’s STRETCHY.
That’s right.
It’s a STRETCHY BLAZER. WHICH IS GENIUS.
It’s got a whole lot of stretch in it, but it’s like a totally legit blazer. And because it’s got so much give, you aren’t uncomfortable and you don’t feel restricted wearing it like I always do with normal blazers.
Here’s the second thing you need to know…it’s ONLY $49.90!
And notice how when you turn up the cuffs on this black one, there’s a little pinstripe lining inside. Such a fabulous detail! I’m wearing a medium here because I have boobs and my rib cage and shoulders are kind of broad too, but I think most of you will be totally good in your regular size.
stretchy blazer / basic tee / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / dark wash ankle jeans / neutral block heel booties “tortilla suede”
And here it is in red! Such a vibrant and fun color!
stretchy blazer / white scoop neck tee in sale / must have earrings / dainty necklace / dark wash ankle jeans / leopard flats
Okay, so this camo jacket was another great surprise for me! When I saw it online, I wasn’t interested at all. When I saw it on the hanger, I decided to give it a chance. After I slipped it on, I fell in love and ended up bringing it home with me. The hood is removable, so if you take it off, you have a more classic camo military style jacket.
It looks boxy and shapeless on the site, but that’s not the case at all! The waist can be cinched in and out, which really helps with styling! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
The jeans I’m wearing here are a medium wash, vs. the dark wash I’ve been wearing in most of the outfits. But don’t worry, they are still Wit and Wisdom! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
camo jacket / white tee / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / medium wash ankle jeans / neutral wedge sneakers
I’m keeping the jacket above, but this camo jacket is another good option that I wanted to show y’all! The camo pattern is more aggressive and quite a bit darker, but I still like it. It’s definitely more edgy than the jacket above, and I thought some of you might prefer that. I really like how the green lining under the zipper is a ribbon material. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in this one.
mask / camo jacket / white tee / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / medium wash ankle jeans / neutral wedge sneakers
This tee is a great basic and under $13. It comes in tons of colors and is perfect for layering. At $12.90, you will probably want to grab a couple of colors. I’m wearing a medium.
The frayed hem crop jeans jeans are Wit and Wisdom and have a bit of distressing, a frayed hem, and a cropped length. The rise is a little higher than most of my jeans, but it’s not too high. And yes, they have the Ab-Solution technology! #pleaseandthankyou Oh, AND THEY ARE UNDER $50!!! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular 4 (and I’m almost 5’4″).
basic tee / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / frayed hem jeans/ camo slip on sneakers
This lightweight sweater has a relaxed oversized fit and a high low hem. It’s really soft because it has just a touch of cashmere in it. Over the next several posts you will see me style the black one and the beige one too. It’s very versatile and can be dressed up or down. The high low hem makes a front tuck difficult, so I would suggest just wearing it out. I’m wearing a small, and it’s still very roomy.
These neutral mules didn’t leave the store with me, but I couldn’t stop thinking about them. And when I saw them in this picture, I hopped online and ordered them. They really are sooooo good and unlike anything else I have in my closet. Definitely size up a 1/2.
lightweight sweater / blingy hoop earrings / dark wash ankle jeans / striped cross body bag /neutral mules
Here’s the same sweater above, but in cream! The outfits in the next collage are different because I wanted to show how it could be dressed both up and down.
On the left, you see it worn casually with the striped Madewell bag and the camo slip on sneakers. On the right, it’s dressed up a bit with the TB bag and the neutral block heel booties. #versatile
lightweight sweater / blingy hoop earrings / dark wash ankle jeans
I tried on MANY suede, leather, and faux leather jackets…and this faux suede moto jacket was the clear winner! It’s a great neutral color and I love the edgy hardware. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
It feels luxe, so the price tag was a surprise at only $87.90! It looks and feels much more expensive than that.
faux suede moto jacket / lightweight sweater / blingy hoop earrings / dark wash ankle jeans / TB bag / neutral block heel booties
One of my favorite Fall outfit formulas is made up of a great tee, a great cardi, and super comfy wedge sneakers. Top it off with a darling bag and you are READY. FOR. FALL.
The cardigan is a beautiful color and it’s quite soft. I love the relaxed fit and that it’s open without any buttons. I’m wearing an x-small, so definitely size down.
tee / cardigan / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace/ striped Madewell bag /dark wash ankle jeans / wedge sneakers
Followed the same formula here, but switched out the grey tee for a white tee, and switched out the clay cardi for the olive cardi.
tee / cardigan / blingy hoop earrings / blingy star necklace/ striped Madewell bag /dark wash ankle jeans / wedge sneakers
This cardi comes in 8 colors and is ONLY $39.90! My favorite is this soft blush. It’s made of a very soft knit yarn and has a shawl collar. I’m wearing the x small.
The jeans I’m wearing here are a medium wash, vs. the dark wash I’ve been wearing in most of the outfits. But don’t worry, they are still Wit and Wisdom! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

COMFY COZY CLOTHES, PAJAMAS, and ATHLEISURE
It’s high time we talk about this year’s blardigan choices! For those that are new here, “blardigan” is a word I made up for this heavenly piece of clothing because it’s part blanket, part cardigan. It’s the softest thing you will ever put on your body. I wear mine almost every single night at home, but you can also wear it out and about! I named it a MUST HAVE almost 7 years ago now, and they come out with new colors and styles each year.
They also make the most wonderful gifts. I’ve gifted to them to every woman in my family over the past several years. They also make a lovely gift to a friend or family member who is going through chemo or has a family member in the hospital. It is always so cold in those rooms, and a blardigan provides both warmth and a reminder that somebody loves them and is thinking about them.
I’m wearing a small in the long blardigan and an x-small/small in the baby blardigan.
long blardigans (heather cocoa taupe on left and bisque on right) / baby blardigan (spruce in center)
basic tee / blingy hoop earrings / star necklace / dark wash ankle jeans / camo slip on sneakers on left and right / neutral wedge sneakers in middle
Are you like me? Do you buy a new pair of these pajamas every year when the sale comes around? Last year I grabbed the long navy striped ones, so this year I bought the short navy floral pair! I’ve talked about these the last couple of years, and I was excited that both the pants and the shorts are both in the sale again. I’m wearing a small in both. I usually size up in pajamas, but I’m able to stick to my regular smalls in these.
These pajamas are insanely soft, have such a cute fit, and wash like a dream. Click HERE for other pajama choices in the sale.
The UGG slippers are an incredible deal.
short pajamas / long pajamas and UGG slippers
Now let’s talk about some athleisure! We’ve got Zella leggings and Zella sweatshirts and both are awesome. (It was late in the day, and I couldn’t be bothered with shoes.)
This is called an Amazing Crewneck Sweatshirt on the site, and I would have to agree. It’s not a normal sweatshirt. First of all, it’s fleece lined. It doesn’t say this anywhere on the description, but it was definitely lined with the softest material ever! It’s long enough to cover the booty, it’s got a split hem, and it has pockets!!! I’m wearing a small in the sweatshirts.
Both leggings are high waisted, super flattering, and very comfy. However, I would only recommend the pink leggings if you’re going to be wearing a long top with them. I feel like they are going to show everything. Concerning the black leggings, I actually prefer the black 7/8 leggings with the side pocket to the full length ones I have on. I wear smalls in Zella leggings.
pink and grey sweatshirts / live in high waist black leggings / pink crop leggings
If you’re looking for something crazy warm, this furry fleece quarter zip jacket is for you! I love the stand up collar and the contrasting piping along the zipper, hemline, and cuffs. This beige pullover has a pretty blush piping, and the black has a lime green piping. I usually size up in Zella items like this, but the small was plenty roomy.
And can you believe these zebra crop leggings. Such a fun print! I’m wearing a small.
furry fleece quarter zip jacket /zebra crop leggings
And because I know so many of you are curious, here’s the leopard print Barefoot Dreams cardigan. I didn’t love it, but I wanted to include a picture for those that are dying over it. I’m wearing a small here. I would have liked to try the x small, but there were none in my store.
I feel like it’s just a little too bulky. The blardigans above are much more flattering in my opinion. HOWEVER, if you are just going to be wearing it around the house and you’re dying over this pattern, well then BY ALL MEANS. Haha!
You can also find the Barefoot Dreams blankets HERE, but please know that I prefer the Nordstrom Bliss throws (and they are a fraction of the price at ONLY $24.90). You can see those a little bit later in the post.
BAGS
In addition to the TB and Madewell bags in all of the outfits above, I also really like the 3 bags below. I just wanted to show you some more bags in case you needed some more options! I actually gasped when I saw the Marc Jacobs tote. It’s stunning in person.
Marc Jacobs tote / Kurt Geiger tweed cross body or shoulder bag/ Tory Burch cognac tote

OTHER TIP TOP FAVORITES
In an effort to streamline your shopping, I wanted to make sure to include my post from Tuesday right here as well. These are items that were either sent to me early by brands or that I already had from previous year’s sales and was THRILLED they were brought back. If you head to instastories on Friday morning, you can see all of the outfits below in video try ons! (I loaded the videos on Thursday at around 4:00, so they will expire around 4:00 today.)
I showed this top first on Tuesday, because I’m certain it’s going to be one of the first items to sell out. I mean, first of all, it’s STUPID COZY. It’s softer than soft, lightweight, and still warm (without being HOT). AND IT’S AN OATMEAL ANIMAL PRINT. It comes in several colors, and you might need a couple, but you definitely need this one. I’m wearing an x-small in it here, and there’s still plenty of room, so I would size down for sure. If you are familiar with other Gibson tops like this, the sizing is pretty typical. During the sale it’s just $33.90. And you will live in this top.
OH. AND GUESS WHAT. You can also get matching joggers (which I’m of course ordering).
For size reference, I’m wearing my regular 4s (and I’m almost 5’4″). I’m wearing regular sizing in all the jeans today, no petites.
cozy v neck tunic (plus size HERE)/ must have earrings / dainty necklace / frayed hem crop jeans / this year’s neutral wedge sneakers
ALL RIGHT.
As long as we’re talking cozy, let’s talk about this full jogger set. These joggers are super soft, made out of a cozy fleece, and you’re going to want to wear them 24/7. The top is made out of the same material for that matter. So yeah, once you put the set on, you’re not going to want to take any of it off. But that’s okay. I will support you in your quest for comfort. I’m wearing a small in these joggers, but I would prefer the petite small.
The top is the same as the oatmeal animal print above. I’m wearing a small in this one, but I would prefer the x-small. I’m also wearing the regular smalls in the joggers; HOWEVER, they do have quite a bit of room. I actually prefer these joggers in a petite small on my frame. I have them pulled up a bit on my calves here to achieve the kind of cropped look.
You buy both of these pieces separately, and they each come in several color options! And as you’ll see in later posts, you can mix and match different tops as well. Click HERE to see some of their other super soft top choices (that match the joggers). Some are color block, some are twist front, and some are v-neck.
I can tell you I’m going to be living in this set.
cozy v neck tunic (plus size HERE)/ matching joggers (plus size HERE)/ huggie earrings / dainty necklace / this year’s Adidas sneakers
You knew I wouldn’t wait long to talk about the itty bitty boot cut jeans in the sale.
I got my first pair (a super dark wash) like 5 years ago and named them a MUST HAVE way back then. Then I got a light wash and showed them to you just a couple of weeks ago (but the popular sizes sold out really fast).
WELL TODAY I’VE GOT THIS GREAT MEDIUM WASH! And the are UNDER $50. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.
They are just as wonderful as the other boot cut jeans I’ve shown in the past. They lengthen your legs, they slim you out, they are incredibly comfortable, and they will make you look AND FEEL great. I’m wearing my regular 4s. I wear 3 inch block heels with them, and they are the perfect length on me. I wouldn’t recommend ordering the petites unless you are 5’2″ or under.
Click HERE for the itty bitty boot cut jeans. These are my favorite wash they’ve ever offered. They are a really great year round color.
You got close up pics above, but here’s the entire outfit! The navy floral blouse isn’t part of the Anniversary Sale (which means anybody can buy it today), but it’s super cute. I’m wearing a medium because I wanted it little blousy.
I. LOVE. THESE. JEANS.
This itty bitty boot cut style from this brand is what I named THE GATEWAY JEANS years ago. Once you try them , you will fall in love with the brand, and you will want to try other jeans from the brand. They are stretchy, comfy, flattering, and all around glorious.
Most people become devoted to the brand, and some never wear another brand of denim ever again. SERIOUSLY. They really are that good.
navy floral blouse / must have earrings / dainty necklace / itty bitty boot cut jeans / similar taupe booties in this year’s sale
Here’s the cashmere sweater that I wore the heck out of last year. It was like my official sweater of 2019. I had it in both black and camel and wore them both CONSTANTLY. I highly recommend grabbing at least 1 at this price. I’m going to add the “pink compact” to my closet.
I would normally buy a medium in a sweater like this, but I followed the recommendation to size down and I’m glad I did. I despise clingy sweaters, and the small isn’t clingy, but it is fitted more than relaxed. I have so many relaxed sweaters in my closet, I’m glad to have some fitted options as well.
cashmere sweater / must have earrings / dainty necklace / dark wash ankle jeans / Sorel booties on left / leopard flats on right
I’ve got 1 more pair of Wit and Wisdom jeans for you today. These grey jeans are awesome. They also have the Ab-Solution technology too. AS ALL JEANS SHOULD.
They fit like a glove and I love the color. I like that I’ll be able to throw them in the mix amidst all of the blue denim I’ve got. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
This blouson sleeve wrap top is a great find too. In the coming days, you’ll also see it on me in the oatmeal color and the magenta. It’s the super soft fleecy fabric that we know and love, but it’s dressed up with the wrap front and the blouson sleeves! It’s cute with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough to pair with a pencil skirt or work pants. I’m wearing a small here, and it’s a much more fitted look than the other Gibson v neck tunics I showed earlier in the post. It is tacked together at the chest, which I appreciate.
blouson sleeve wrap top / must have earrings / dainty necklace / grey jeans / Sorel booties
And let’s do another jogger set….BECAUSE IT’S 2020 PEOPLE.
So I’m wearing the same joggers as I was in the olive green set up top, but these are obviously grey. And instead of wearing the over sized v neck, I’m wearing the color block pullover. I’m wearing a small in this top, and I wouldn’t want it any smaller. Again, I’m wearing a small in the joggers, but I prefer the petite small.
I think it’s a cool and modern take on a jogger set! I love this black/grey version, but there are 4 combos and I really like the blush/wine combo too. You need to check out all the options for sure.

TRIED AND TRUE ITEMS
NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE ITEMS THAT I’VE OWNED AND LOVED FOR AWHILE.
These items are all tried and true personal favorites of mine.
A couple of them are usually in the sale, but I’m always nervous for some reason that they will be left out, so I am always super excited to see when they bring them back!
THE BEST THROW EVER
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times….this blanket is one of THE BEST VALUES OF THE ENTIRE SALE.
IT’S $24.90 y’all, it’s soft as all get out, it looks pretty (I love the fringe!), and it launders great. Buy SEVERAL for your own home (just to keep your family from fighting over it), and then buy them as gifts too. THIS BLANKET IS AMAZING.
Throw one over the back of your couch, throw one on the foot of your bed, and pile them up in a great basket. You’re going to want to have plenty on hand or your family will fight over them. I’m not even kidding.
Click HERE for the throw. It makes a FANTASTIC Christmas present for anybody on your list. Seriously, ANYBODY. It’s also a great graduation present. STOCK UP ON THESE BABIES.
THE BABY BLARDIGAN
If you’re new here, a “blardigan” is part blanket and part cardigan. I named it a blardigan many moons ago, and the name stuck. Haha! And it’s a little piece of heaven on this here earth.
The baby blardigan is the shortest of all the blardigans, it has a rounded hem, and it has pockets. I wear it both in and out of the house and it seriously still brings a smile to my face each time I put it on even though I’ve been putting one on for like 7 years now. When I’m wearing it, I’m living my best life. The x-small/small is the size I prefer, but the next size up is just a more relaxed fit and has a bit of extra length (which others prefer). The arms are fitted, which is what allows it to be worn out of the house (and not just look like lounge wear), so consider sizing up if you prefer extra room in your arms.
This is the “He Pewter/Pearl”, but it comes in other colors that I will show later in the week. Click HERE for the baby blardigan.
MY GO TO BRAS AND UNDIES
I first purchased THIS BRA several years ago during the sale, and it’s become a tradition to get a new one every year. It’s expensive when not on sale ($72), but I have found that it’s SO WORTH the money. Grabbing it at the sale price at $47.90 is a no brainer. I named it a MUST HAVE several years ago, and I know so many of you are believers now too! If you doubt me, just check out the online reviews. The cups are perfectly rounded, it has just the right amount of lining, and the material is oh so comfy. And look how pretty the straps are! Click HERE for the bra. True to size for me.
I discovered the THESE UNDIES 4 years ago during the sale, and now they have a cult following. (They are called “girl briefs”, but they are definitely for women.) They stay in place without digging into the skin, rolling down, etc. Plus, they are pretty with the lace detailing. And I’m telling you, you can barely even tell you have them on! I wear a small, so they are true to size for me. I initially bought 1 pair to try several years ago, and then I immediately hopped on and purchased 3 more. Since my initial purchase, I’ve probably purchased 20 additional pair. When I found myself sad when they were all in the laundry, I started grabbing several pair every time they were on sale. Life’s too short to wear undies that you don’t love. You can quote me on that. It seems that my life mantras are all about comfort.
I get sooooo many comments from readers that say that they stock up on these every single year as well!
OH…and very important…I DO NOT HAND WASH THESE UNDIES! Who in the world would do that? I just wash them with everything else!!!
OH! AND CHECK THIS OUT! The strapless bra that I’ve been raving about for 6 years now (and have turned so many of y’all onto) is NOW IN THE SALE! My friend Meagan finally bought one last year, and she kept texting me about it saying things like “My saggy boobies have been perfectly happy and supported since 7 a.m. They feel confident again!” And days later “I’ve decided I only want to wear the strapless bra. Always.” YEP, THAT’S RIGHT. So many of us wear this strapless EVEN WHEN WE DON’T HAVE TO WEAR A STRAPLESS. That’s pretty much unheard of, y’all! Sizing tips: Some buy their regular size, and some size up in the band or the cup.
Click HERE for this strapless. Even if you are large chested, you need to try this bra. And you see it also comes with detachable straps. You can wear them straight, you can criss cross them in the back, or you can of course take them off all together.
AND, if you are a Hanky Panky devotee, don’t you worry! My favorite regular rise thongs can be found HERE.
SOREL BOOTIES
These Sorel booties were one of my Top 5 favorite purchases from all of 2019, and I was THRILLED when I saw they were in the sale this year. I styled them in several outfits above, but I knew they needed a big highlight.
These booties are fully waterproof, have an elastic insert on the inside and asymmetrical zip closure on the outside. They are easy to get off and on, and they have a removable padded insole. I love the wedge heel and the chunky textured sole. They give me some height, elongate my legs, and are still incredibly comfortable. True to size for me, but after reading reviews online, it seems like if you are between sizes that you should go up a 1/2 size.
In addition to the functionality, let’s talk about the fashion. Because they function great…BUT THEY LOOK GREAT TOO!
They somehow manage to be sporty, yet chic.
I ADORE THEM.
And OH MY WORD, I received literally hundreds of messages about these booties since I first introduced them at the very end of October last year. Everybody is so incredibly impressed with their comfort level and how they are so good at keeping our feet warm and dry.
Click HERE for the booties, they come in black and brown.
Here I am wearing them on my girl’s trip in Boston last year.
LEOPARD FLATS
These leopard flats were on the READER FAVORITES list in 2019! They were also personal favorites for me, and I wore these babies from March to November. I was pumped to see them in the sale.
They are very comfy and true to size for me. Readers suggest if you have a wide foot to size up a 1/2. They also come in black leather, taupe, and snakeskin.
HIGH WAISTED LEGGINGS
I’m SOOOOO HAPPY they brought these leggings back this year.
I ADORE THESE HIGH WAISTED ANKLE LEGGINGS. They come up above my belly button, and they suck me in like crazy, while somehow still allowing me to breathe and be 100% comfortable. THEY ARE MAGIC. Once I tried the high waisted option several years ago, I have never purchased the regular rise again.
If you prefer the longer length, click HERE to choose from full length, 7/8, plus size, and maternity.
Sizing tip: I’m wearing my regular size small. Click HERE for the leggings.
SPANX FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
The SPANX faux leather leggings are in the sale again too! WooHoo!
I’m telling you, if you want to feel like a million bucks, treat yourself to these leggings.
They are great quality, they wash well, they don’t stretch out, and perhaps most importantly – you will feel amazing in them! I size up to a medium in these (I wear a small in all other leggings), and they fit perfectly. I’m guessing a small would work too, but I really like the comfort level of the mediums. They are a couple of inches too long on my 5’4″ frame, but I only wear them with tall boots, so that’s not a problem. And that’s great news for you tall girls that would like to wear them with heels!
They suck you in and totally slim you down, while still allowing you to breathe. It’s a thing of wonder.

That’s it for today! I HOPE YOU LOVED TODAY’S POST AND FOUND IT SUPER HELPFUL. This sale is completely overwhelming, and it was definitely my goal to make it more manageable (and more fun!) for all of you to shop. I would love it if you would leave a comment telling me what your favorite items are and/or if there are certain things you would like to see me review that you didn’t see on today’s post! My store didn’t have a lot of the things I’d seen online and fallen in love with, so I placed an order that is supposed to arrive very soon.
GAME ON, LADIES. Go forth and shop your faces off.
AND EVERYBODY REPEAT AFTER ME: WE’RE NOT SPENDING MONEY, WE’RE SAVING MONEY.

You have so many great finds…but that watch is my FAVE!!!
Dalen says
Amazing roundup! What size were you wearing in the leopard Barefoot Dreams cardigan?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Dalen! Oops, I’ll go add that now. I’m in a small. I would have liked to have tried the x-small, but there wasn’t one at my store. xoxo
Sarah DeWald says
I’m definitely going to get the navy watch! And I was loving the Marc Jacobs bag online but I’m glad you loved it in person!
Sheaffer says
It’s amazing, Sarah! It looks like a $500 bag at least! xoxo
Kristen says
Oh the Ab Solution dark wash non-distressed jeans, when you say you wear a 4s, does that mean a 4 petite?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Kristen! I’m wearing a regular in all of the jeans. The 4s does not mean “short”, it just means I’m wearing 4s…like the 4. Hope this makes sense, sorry if it’s confusing. I’ll go change the wording on my post. xoxo
Kristen says
Ahhhh now I understand! Thanks.
Amy says
My wish list is so full!!! Can’t wait to shop. Do you think there will be items left next week when I can shop?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Amy! I hope so!!! There’s no way of really knowing, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed! xoxo
VICTORIA ADAMS says
I have been looking at the Marc Jacobs bag online. I am so glad you liked it! Is it an everyday bag? Or more of a work bag for a laptop?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Victoria! Hmmmmm….I didn’t even look at the inside of the bag, which was a total oversight on my part. As far as looks go, it could be either! xoxo
Darcy says
I love the combos you’ve put together and thanks for your honest comments.
PS – You look great! 🙂
Sheaffer says
Thank you, Darcy! xoxo
Patty N says
So sad that watch is sold out already!?
Lisa says
Love this post!
If I only chose to buy one sneaker this year—the wedge sneakers or slip ons which would you recommend?
Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hey, Lisa! Hmmmmmmmm……I guess I would say the wedge because you can wear them longer. Once it’s starts getting too cold, I’d feel silly in the slip ons….but I’d still wear the wedges. Hope this helps! xoxo
Kandy says
Great post with lots of great suggestions. I had a question about the ab solutions jeans. Is the “solution” just in the ab area? I’ve tried on some Jeans that also smash and flatten the butt. They weren’t flattering
Thanks so much,
Kandy
Sheaffer says
Hi, Kandy! These don’t flatten the butt. In fact, they lift the butt!!! xoxo
Julie Olesen says
Hi there!
I feel like the link to the pink and grey sweatshirt is not correct. The link takes me to a very short hooded sweatshirt. Is there a way to get the correct link?
Thank you!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Julie! It wasn’t correct. 🙁 I grabbed the right link, but the technology is failing me. It seems that links that were grabbed during a certain time period are redirecting to other items. I’m SO SORRY! I’ve fixed the link, and it should hold how. You can also search Zella Amazing Crewneck Sweatshirt and find it that way. So sorry for the confusion. xoxo
Andrea Clark says
Hey Sheaffer, I just wanted to double check the sizing on the Vince Camuto leopard top. Nordstrom says it runs large and recommends sizing down, but I know you’re not a large, and you said you’re wearing a medium. I just want to make sure I’m completely prepared for tomorrow! Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Andrea! I am wearing a medium in the top. They didn’t have a small in store for me to try, but I liked the blousy fit of the medium! I think a small would fit, but the medium was good for me too! Hope this helps! xoxo
