Green cardigan: The LOFT
(They still have this scarf in stock, and I’m telling you, you need this in your closet. And at $18, they are practically giving it away. See, there’s that girl math again!)
The girl in the inspiration pic looks completely unamused.
GORGEOUS, yes. Amused, no.
Here’s what I think….
I may or may not know something about this type of scenario. 🙂
I think one of the MAJOR differences between men and women is the fact that women understand the value of a scarf as an accessory and not just an article of clothing used for warmth.
My hubby just does not get it.
And I’m pretty sure he never will.
Do you girls find the same to be true?
And I don’t know what it is about leopard,
but it instantly makes me feel put together and a little SASSY!
Oh, wait.
I have the funniest story to share with you.
Seriously, this is GOOD.
It seems to corroborate my theory that leopard tends to bring out your sassy side.
I have a friend (who shall remain nameless) who bought THESE LOFT boots that I highlighted a couple of weeks ago.
She loves them.
When they arrived she was thrilled and could hardly wait to wear them out on the town (can you imagine how DARLING they would be with just about everything?).
Well, before she could even get them upstairs to her room, they disappeared.
My nameless friend was sure that her young daughter was playing with them.
So, she called the daughter in the room and inquired about them.
The daughter said she knew nothing of the boots whereabouts.
The nameless friend of course did not believe her daughter.
She then said something to her husband about her missing boots.
This is where it gets good.
Wait for it.
The hubby rather sheepishly looked at her and said,
“Oh….I have them waiting on the end of the bed for you.”
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
I LOVE that story!
I mean, leopard heels I can understand.
But leopard ankle boots?
That’s some funny stuff.
See….leopard brings out the sassy side….I told ya.
🙂
And if you are visiting from any of the link-up parties, WELCOME!

Cute! Scarfs change everything. I love them.
Here's a question for you…I bought a sleeveless leopard top from Loft last week in a catalog order. It's a blouse but I can't find to link to. I kind of hate it. Any ideas for styling?

Hi Stacey! I e-mailed you with my e-mail address asking you to send me a picture! Hopefully we can figure something out! 🙂

Haha that is hilarious! You're right, our leopard outfits were really similar with the emerald green! I have a leopard print scarf too so maybe next time I'll pair that with my green sweater instead of the skirt 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following now!

Green jeans. Leopard ballet flats. Leopard belt. Black fitted tee. gold jewelery and now I know I'm cute!
And yes. Every time I wear a darling scarf Dave asks me if we are going to the mountains (where it's cold) today. Or he so kindly references 1992 skinny silk scarf tied tightly around my neck (will drudge up picture for you someday but still to shy, even though back then I knew I was sophisticated and fashion forward)

Love the green and leopard combo. I like how you went light with it, but I also like the darker look on the Pinterest photo. BTW, that photo is probably from the Bittersweet Colours blog. I recognize her! She puts together the coolest outfits. http://bittersweetcolours.blogspot.com

I just love your blog….. as a matter of fact you know that girl crush thingy…. well, don't be scared, but I sooo have that crush on you. You could be my younger, much better dressed sister, (the one I never had). If you are ever in central Texas, give a shout, I'll buy you a frappachino… and pick your brain!! (and maybe your closet…)
Thanks

Ready for this? So far I have brought the Redkin shampoo/cond, bubble necklace off etsy, hue leggings, and the leopard scarf from Nordys, I also got some mellon cords from Banana Republic, since Target doesn't have tall sizes 🙁 You have also reunited me with the Loft. I haven't bought from the in years but made a big online puchase last night. Thank you! The hubby isnt even upset as he loves the new looks & boldness from me. I let my fashion go when the rugrats came on board, but thanks to you I started thinking about it again!
