So, I thought I would make up for that today.
TODAY IS ALL ABOUT LEOPARD FLATS!
(and my favorite bracelets, and some new cuffed jeans options!)
{Click HERE to see the original post that talks about lots of other Spring shoe options!}
There are 2 really great things about leopard flats:
1)
They go with everything because they are a neutral.
2)
They totally span all 4 seasons.
They are just as great in spring and summer as they are in fall and winter.
There aren’t many shoes you can say that about.
Listen, I know I’ve talked about leopard flats many times before.
But get ready, because I’m talking about them again today…
and rest assured that I will most certainly talk about them again.
I took the plunge and bought my first pair 3 years ago, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve since replaced that pair, and bought THIS pair (kind of expensive, but so worth it).
I pinned this outfit a couple of weeks ago, and I knew it would be SO EASY to recreate with things already in my closet and my leopard flats!
I am SUCH A FAN of this outfit.
via
Here is how I threw it together. I love how it just looks thrown together but totally chic at the same time. navy sweater option HERE And I thought my watch and bracelets for this outfit deserved a close up.

That’s what. |
khaki shorts and denim shirt HERE/ black and white stripes HERE denim on denim HERE blue and white stripes with red jacket HERE / green jeans and black check shirt HERE Here I am in past leopard flat pairings on the blog. |
Do I need to do any more convincing that they really do go with everything?
I certainly hope not.
😉
So…..now I’m going to give you some great options of flats
to add to your closet.
Because I’m telling you, you need leopard flats in your life!
THIS is the pair that I have (mine are square toe, but those are sold out).
They are a little pricey, but if you read the reviews, people say that they are totally worth it, and I would have to agree.
willing to last year because I’ve proven to myself that I will get my $
worth out of them by wearing my cheap Target ones (that were super cute but have since fallen apart) CONSTANTLY.
want to consider that!
for me.
Shay
bought these flats last year too which
OF COURSE warranted an immediate phone call. You guys. With the
exception of TOMS, Shay has never ever ever bought a pair of flats.
Never. EVER. And
she bought these. She didn’t buy the nude flats that I’ve
been screaming about (although she is now considering them!), but these flats are a different story. These
flats are so awesome they actually made her put
down a pair of heels or wedges, take out her wallet, and buy them.
Here is just one of the reviews:
So comfortable!
Most
flats rub my feet and hurt- the ankles, around the front, on the sides
of the foot. With that, I am very picky about my shoes and usually end
up spending a ton of money to get flats that don’t hurt. I am amazed at
these flats- they were comfortable right out of the box, didn’t require
any break in time, and felt good on my feet all day. I will definitely
be getting more of these in lots of fun colors!
And here’s the comment Shay left on my blog the first time I featured this leopard flat:
You know that I’ve been a leopard enthusiast for years and years.
Leopard is as neutral as black. But I have never, ever been a flats
enthusiast…until now. Those Sam Edelman’s are FABULOUS! If you love
flats, you must purchase these shoes! They are so comfy, have sole
support, look chic and cute at the same time…one little shoe has
changed my entire footwear opinion. People…get these flats!
Don’t like the above flats or just want to spend less $? I have some FABULOUS options for you!
a) pointy toe leopard flat HERE
I have tried these on, and they are super comfortable! The pointy toe is so chic, and they are a great price point! The first inspiration picture above (with the navy sweater) shows a great pair of pointed toe flats too.
b) Sam Edelman felicia flat HERE
47 5 Star Reviews!

Mix and Match Mama says
I stand by my original comment. I have worn my leopard flats twice this week. Twice. The weather wasn't cold enough for my booties but not warm enough for wedges…the leopard flat works in all weather. Love them. Love them. Love them. Everyone needs them. XOXO
Amy Kleis says
I completely agree with this post for I have over 10 diff leopard print shoes( flats, booties, wedges & sandals) and they are just sooo much fun!!!….the SE felicia flats are comfy, but if you have a wide foot, size up. I can also tell you the investment is worth it, because they don't seem to go out of style….i've had some for 5+ years!!!! Splurge Ladies Splurge!!! Happy Friday!
Tab & Erika says
Looks like Mama needs to invest in a new pair of leopard flats!!
Alison @ Get Your Pretty On says
I think I'm leopard obsessed, I wear a piece of it in almost every outfit! My leopard flats get worn so much I have to buy a new pair every year. Saving up for that Sam Edelman pair!
Narci says
I love this post–my leopard flats are just as versatile as my neutral flats! You are so smart, Sheaffer!
Lobster Meets Peach says
I was planning to stop by Nordstroms today for just two things but now you have me thinking that I might need to add a couple of things to my shopping list!
Kim Kauffman says
I love love love my Sam Edelman leopard flats. They are so comfy and cute! I normally wear and 8 1/2 and those fit perfectly for me. It's super rainy here still but I couldn't help but bust out some flats this week because I'm so sick.of.wearing.boots. Ready for spring! I really think I need to find some blingy jewelry now….

First of all, the new hover and click feature works great! Very convenient, so I think it would be awesome for you to use that feature on all your collages!
Love leopard flats for the exact reasons you mentioned in this post. I have the Lucky brand ones, but I am thinking of getting a different kind in the near future, so I appreciate your suggestions. I also love the sequin bracelets you featured, so I'm thinking some of those have to be purchased asap. Love your blog!!

I am on the hunt for leopard flats so this post made me happy!! I may check these out. I don't have super wide feet, but i'd say medium, so I am hesitant to order any flat type shoe online just in case b/c I hate having to return etc. Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂
Hayley Chandler says
I love the Sam Edelman leopard flats!!! I bought them after you and Shay talked and talked about them. LOVE!!!! I love them!!! I wore them twice this week because I hadn't worn them in a while because it was too darn cold. I love how they add that little bit of fun to an outfit.

Love your blog!! Just wanted to let you know those Felicia flats were $109 and now they are only $87. I ordered them and can't wait go get them!!
Katie @ Team Skelley says
I have MK leopard flats and leopard Toms – both are my goto shoes. They are great to slide on in a pinch to finish your outfit if you are in a hurry. I have to say, though I bought the Lucky Brand Emmies in gun metal and they were extremely uncomfortable. To the point that after an hour of wear, I wanted to cut my feet off at the ankle. Don't be like me trying to cheap out, save up for the Tory Burch, if you can.
Heather S. says
I have a question about the cuffed jean…I'm 5'9" so where do I want the cuff to fall? Is it like a crop jean that has a cuff or an ankle jean that cuffs at the ankle. Because I'm on the tall side I don't want the pants to look like they are too short for me. Thanks! I love this blog.
SarahN says
Love the hover and click option! Please keep using that 🙂
Sara says
I already have leopard flats but those turquoise flats seriously SPOKE to me so I ordered them immediately. I can't wait to add the POP of color (I read Shay's blog right before yours) to my spring wardrobe!
Liz says
Shut.

I've never ordered from Nordstrom before (always saw them as too pricey and considered myself a Gap/Old Navy type of person), but the leopard scarf of Shay's kept calling my name so I ordered it yesterday morning around 6am. (I'm not really one to turn down free shipping, either.)
But… the scarf is scheduled to be delivered TODAY. Is that normal? If so, Nordstrom may have a repeat customer.
Shelby says
LOOOOVE my Sam Edelman Felicias!! I got my pair for Christmas, and they are every bit as fabulous as has been described above. And then some! 🙂
Rachel Werts says
I bought the Sam Edelman leopard flats right before Christmas and I love love LOVE them!
April Parrish says
All anyone has to say is, "LEOPARD" to get my undivided attention!!! I love everything leopard…EVERYTHING!!! Bras, panties, shoes, blazers, shirts, scarves and oh so much more!!! I really love the cut out leopard shoes featured today. So fun for spring!
Have a great weekend!
Jackie T. says
I can vouch for the Sam Edelman Felicia's too, I have three pairs! And yes, go up a 1/2 size in this particular flat. Mine have not stretched out, there's no slipping on the heel either. Go get you some!
Kristen says

Cortney McCurry says
Love that you devoted an entire post to leopard flats, awesome! Just put them in my shopping cart. Nordstrom has been delivering a lot to my house lately :). To the earlier comment about receiving her scarf the next day…yes sometimes it is that fast! Nordstrom sends out from stores as well as their shipping warehouse so sometimes you get items super quick!
Because Shanna Said So says
You don;t have to sell me on anything leopard!!! I am a fan and a tried and true always…they are the new neutral!! 🙂
V @ X-tremely V says
Leopard flats do go with everything! And if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't think that today! So thank you Sheaffer!
And my Hunter wellies arrived last night!!!! Totally in love 🙂
Jen Pogue says
Yes, yes, yes! I ADORE my Felicia leopard flats. Unlike some of the comments above, I stuck with my normal flat size of 8.5 in these. They are so comfy and classy. In fact, I choose them over my Tory Burch flats almost every time!
Funny in My Mind says
I have those Vince Camuto turquoise patent flats (and red, yellow, black, berry, nude, and gray) and I adore them!! Adore! I own a restaurant and am on my feet all day and they are so comfy. I'm wearing my leopard flats with a navy and white shirt tomorrow for sure!
Kelly Wilson says
And I just purchased the Sam Edelman leopard flats! I too wore my Target leopard flats until they fell apart last year and have missed them so, but couldn't find any others I liked at a decent price point. Thanks so much for alerting us to this sale Sheaffer!
Keisha Dawson says
This post makes me so happy! I have on my leopard flats today, and I wear them at least once a week. They literally go with EVERYTHING! Definitely a closet staple!
Courtney says
THE nude flats are on sale too!! Only $63 now! Both pairs are now on their way to me! ?
sarah from the suburbs says
I have the Lucky Brand emmie flats in both camo and leopard…LOVE THEM! they are very light weight and comfy, too. I ordered a half size up because I have a wide foot. They go with everything!!! 🙂
Also, I just ordered the Vince Camuto flats in bisque…REALLY looking forward to those coming in next week! Love all of your fashion inspiration! Thank you!
Deanna says
Oh lady, you cost me lots of $! Ran out and bought the Sam Edelman leopard flats, Kut from the Kloth boyfriend jeans (be aware there are 2 cuts, slim and regular), and ordered the Vince Camuto Ellen flats in emerald. Can't wait to wear my new "neutral" shoes!
Lori says
I bought the bp flats on Tues. I wore them on Wed. and loooved them. I was so sad when I let the Steve Madden pointy toe leopard flats get away and when I saw these I knew I had to have them. They are not calf hair but at just under $50 I was willing to try and see if I had the nerve to wear them out of the house. I'm not exactly a young thing and thought maybe I might be a little too old to be sporting leopard shoes. I may be too old but I loved them. And… I love your blog too!
Susanne says
For the love of all that is good and Pinterest worthy…get yourself to a Nordstrom or at the very least a computer and order those Sam Edelman leopard flats! I seriously don't think there will ever be a need for any other leopard flats. These are the best! They are definitely worth the money and are so comfy.
Dah says
loving your posts – and I gotta have leopard flats too. thanks.
Huckleberry Finn says
Sheaffer you have never steered me wrong and I love that~~
I'm a tall glass of water (5'11) and want to rock the cuffed jeans look you've been raving about but can't seem to find any that are long enough for my stems.
Do you have any recs on where I can find some in a longer length?
Meredith says
As of Sunday the boots and leopard flats are no longer on sale- so bummed, I tried them on in the store on Saturday to see if I liked, when home to make sure I was up for spending the $ and today the sale is over-so bummed (not sure why bc the camo ones were on sale in the store and they are not listed anymore)
Karen Ward says
Soooo – I never thought of leopard flats as a neutral but wow, now that I do, I'm thinking of all kinds of cute ways to wear them that I never would have thought about before!! I had a pair from last year but didn't wear them NEAR as much as I should have.
You and Shay are SO bad for my wallet!!
ceekay2 says
I have leopard flats that I bought from Banana Republic last year and I love them!! I also finally took your advice and got the suede Toms booties and I love those also!
