Do we all agree on that?
In fact, I had this exact conversation with my friend Lori this weekend. We don’t care if it’s 70 degrees and sunny outside, if it’s February, we’re not going to be wearing flip flops.
(For what it’s worth, my friend Nikki vehemently disagrees with this statement.)
However, the last couple of years I feel like I’ve added several shoes to my closet that have proven to be PERFECT shoes for both transitioning from winter to spring as well as transitioning from fall to summer. These are shoes that bridge the gap between seasons and help carry you into the next season, and they are worth their weight in gold as far as I’m concerned.
I’m going to talk about a couple of my past purchases that I’ve been extremely pleased with in just a second, but before I do, I would like to introduce you to my new shoes that I got last week.
And for the record, Shay was with me when I tried them on, and we both may have squealed.

The sweet man helping us must have thought we had lost our minds.

SERIOUSLY, OMG.
I have feelings for these shoes that border on cuh-razy.
They just flat out make me happy.
Like, I’m actually smiling write now as I’m looking at the above picture and typing this sentence.
And I’m having to suppress the urge to squeal again.
At least I’m fully aware that I’m cuckoo.

I have the white converse both ways….yes sick in the head, but the high top with the hidden wedge is just soo friggin adorable!!!! You must try them….I LOVE MY WHITE SHOES!!!! and if you have not read the book Pete the Cat…..adorable book, but when I wear my red or white ones, it truly does make me wanna sing that tune! I have the MK moccasin in leopard and they are the most comfy shoes ever – seriously. I can wear them all day and my feet will never hurt and they do not rub blisters. I just picked up the zebra Toms for a steal and I am very excited about wearing them when all of this snow melts!
FYI, speaking of snow – my neighbor, daughter and I all wore our Hunter wellies in the snow for the first time this week and they hold up super well, they are a great snow boot!
