FAVORITE #1: THIS
Mother’s Day snuggles in bed with this guy (after I napped!) on a rainy Sunday afternoon.  
YES, PLEASE.
The other night I was laying down with him and I asked if he would still snuggle me when he was 15.  Without missing a beat, he looked at me with such conviction, and in the sweetest little voice you’ve ever heard he just said “Of course, Mommy.”
I die.

FAVORITE #2: My Mama and These Boys
We met my mom, dad, sister, her hubby, and my nephew for dinner on Mother’s Day!
I snapped a really quick pic of my mama with her 2 grandbabies.
I mean, how cute are these three?!?

FAVORITE #3: The New PTMT BACK TO BASICS Series!
I just started this series on Monday, but I’ve received lots of great feedback from y’all!

FAVORITE #4: An Easy To Wear Blouse
Speaking of basics….
My MUST HAVE shirt is still a favorite of mine.  2 years later, and I still love it.
And it’s as basic as you can get.
I mentioned it on a facebook post sometime last week, and I got several questions about it from new readers.  And I realized there is a whole new set of readers that are new to the blog that have no idea about some of my previous MUST HAVE items!
The MUST HAVE shirt of 2014 is simply an updated version of the original MUST HAVE shirt.  
It. Is. AWESOME. 

It’s actually even better than the 2013 version!
I highly recommend black (because many of the other colors show too many wrinkles).
I also recommend sizing down 1 full size.  For size reference, I’m wearing an x-small.

I put it on facebook over the weekend, but realized I hadn’t put it on the blog yet.
It only comes in patterns (no solid colors), and here’s some great news….it doesn’t seem to wrinkle!!!
The neckline is still unique and super cute, and the overall cut is flattering.
I think it looks great with jeans, but it would be perfect with dress slacks or a pencil skirt in an office environment.

FAVORITE #5: WEDGES

Y’all know that I love my new wedges.

But I’m sad to report that the cork option that I have is pretty much sold out…..
But here’s the deal, I don’t want you to let that stop you.
Because you can also get them in coral and grey!
This wedge is awesome.
They are super comfortable, a great height, and I love the overall
 look of them.
Seriously.
Get ’em.
I feel like the grey is a great option for a neutral and the coral would add a great pop of color to lots of outfits!

While we are still talking about wedges
I mentioned on Monday when I talked about THESE wedges (low heel height) about how many of you had asked me to find a great wedge for tall girls.
Well, I got this message the same day:

Ok so I am one of those tall girls that is struggling with the height of so many pairs of the adorable wedges out there. I wept when I saw the height of the leopard Uggs. I just can’t wear them, if I trip or fall its a LONG way down. But I found these Kork Ease Austin cognac colored wedges on Nordstrom that aren’t too tall but still tall enough to make for a great wedg.e And they have a cushioned footbed and I am in love. A tall girl MUST HAVE!!

FAVORITE #6: My Camo Pants
I realize this is kind of mean since this exact pair of pants is sold out 🙁 …but I am absolutely loving having camo pants in my closet!  I find myself continuing to grab for them way more than I ever thought I would.  They are unexpected, a little edgy, and I just love throwing them on!

FAVORITE #9: The NEST Diffusers
So here’s a fun fact about me.
I love candles.
  HOWEVER.

  I hate burning them because inevitably after I leave the house I kind of panic about whether or not I remembered to blow it out.  Like once I was at least 20 minutes away from the house, and yet I still went back to check to see if I had blown it out.

Yes, I’m fully aware that I’m crazy.
And for the record, it was blown out.  It always is.

All of these are light and airy and sooooo cute.
However, they are all blousy, so if you don’t like blousy, you will NOT like these tops.

SIZE REFERENCES: I’m wearing an x-small in all of these tops, and they all require a camisole because of either how thin they are or how they are low cut.

The dress is thin, but it’s soooo stinking cute!  Loved the color, pattern, and fit.
If you have a vacation this summer, this dress would be so cute.
It’s t-back, so keep that in mind for the bra situation.
I’m wearing a petite x-small and I could have worn flat sandals or wedges with it and both would have worked.  And again, if you don’t yet have a fitted denim jacket.  This is a great jacket at a great price.
In addition to the floral shorts, these are the other shorts I left with.
Elastic waistband and a drawstring?  Yes, please.
And I got two colors of the v-neck tee on the right (black and the “rich magenta” color). I thought I could wear the rich magenta with the floral shorts too.

    I would so be there on May 28th if I didn't live 1750 miles away! Boo! I think that patterned must have shirt looks so much cuter on you than the Nordstrom model. And I love my camo pants too but I usually wear a boring black tee with them…love your orange and pink tops with yours. Definitely gonna copy that. Because imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? 🙂

    I'm on a mission to find a great pair of camo pants too, but at the thrift store! I'm a high-end thrifted fashion blogger in Albuquerque, NM. I have, however, found a ton of great espadrilles this year while thrifting.

    Candles can make me nervous too. Few ideas. Set a timer on your phone when it is time to blow out candle. Also, I place a post it on my door leading to garage, that way I won't step out before forgetting about the candle.
