My Favorite Tie Front Tee

When talking about FAVORITES, I knew I had to talk about my new tie front tee. I wore this outfit to Carter’s soccer game last weekend, and I knew y’all needed to know about it! I posted about it on facebook and ig immediately, but I wanted to make sure it appeared on the blog as well.

Do you remember the striped navy and white tie front tee I showed y’all with white jeans? Well, the striped tee sold out immediately (some colors are restocked now!), but this is the same tee and it’s fully stocked in some solid colors! You can wear it longer like I did with the white jeans, or you can bunch it up around your waist like this.

Size references: I’m wearing an x-small in the tee (so size down), I’m wearing my regular 27s in the shorts (but size down if between sizes), and I sized up a 1/2 in the sandals.

And even though the navy and white is almost sold out right  right now, I wanted to remind you what the tee looks like when it’s pulled down instead of bloused up.

I definitely suggest sizing down in the tee.  Concerning jean size, I actually now have a 26 in the jeans (although I originally bought the 27s), and the wedges are true to size.

Ladies, this tee comes in several colors, and I imagine this is one of those that many of you will probably get in multiple colors.  It’s a great price point at $25, and I think lots of us appreciate the longer length.  I mean, some days you just like to cover your bootie.  #ormaybethatsjustme

Bloomingdale’s Shoe Sale

Okay, ladies.  I’m talking about a retailer today that I’ve only shopped at a handful of times in my whole life:  Bloomingdale’s!  I’ve had a handful of readers ask me to talk about them because they live close to a Bloomingdale’s, but not a Nordstrom.  Since I hadn’t shopped there in awhile, I hopped online to start looking around…AND I LIKED WHAT I SAW.   I put up a facebook post on Wednesday morning asking for Bloomingdale’s feedback from readers, and I got some really great feedback from y’all!  It seems lots of you shop at Bloomingdale’s and love it!  Some even prefer it to Nordstrom.  You can easily sign up to be a “loyalist” on their site (I did so in like 30 seconds with just my name, birthday, and e-mail address), and that qualifies you for free shipping and returns as well as access to great sale events!

My Favorite White Jeans Are On Sale!

GIRLS! It appears my favorite white jeans ever (fit great and aren’t see thru) are NOW ON SALE for $36.97.

The distressing patterns look the same, they both have a frayed hem, and they are definitely both the “Carly” style! They look quite a bit longer on me, but I’m sure that’s because the model is definitely over 5’4″. 🙂I’m wearing a 27 in this picture, but I actually just bought the 26s for myself too! If you are between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.  I did have a reader say that she thinks the fabric content might be a bit different, but they definitely look the same to me!

One of my favorites of the week is a HUGE make up sale that’s going on right now at Nordstrom, AND IT’S TRIPLE POINTS!!!

The pic on the right is my sister’s lashes. She’s the one who told me I HAD to start using Nuelash. The picture on the left is me. Great Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Did y’all see my post on Monday where I gave lots of gifting ideas for various gift giving occasions?  You need to go check it out!

Today I’m going to give you some other gift ideas for Mother’s Day.  Let’s start out with this fun graphic I made last year.  Not all moms are really in to jewelry or clothes,  but I’m willing to bet that most are in to pampering themselves.  Everything in this next picture is made for pampering, and reviews of all of the products will be below the picture!

I can’t think of any mama (or graduate!) that wouldn’t like the jersey robe.  It’s thin, so the owner won’t want to pass out when drying her hair (or maybe that’s just me), it has EXCELLENT reviews, and it’s a great price point at $38.

Okay, so the lavendar foaming bath.  I know what you’re thinking.  $38 FOR BUBBLE BATH?  I know.  It’s shocking.  But it’s lovely and luxurious and fabulous.  The scent will truly transport you and the bubbles are better than any other bubbles I’ve ever experienced.  If your mom is a bath person, TREAT HER TO THIS.  I got a bottle 2 years ago at a conference, and I continue to purchase it, even though it’s expensive.  I’m not typically a bath person, but when I do take one, I always use this.  I love everything about the experience, including my baby soft skin afterwards. I wanted to read what others had to say about it in the online reviews, and I now want to be friends with the reviewer Kate88Kate. Here’s what she had to say:  So make sure your mortgage is manageable and you’ve got a good financial strategy because once you go down the L’Occitane road it’s a one -way trip.  KATE!  Let’s be besties!  Click HERE for all L’Occitane products if you want to check out all they have to offer.

This lip scrub.  Let’s talk about the packaging.  The little tub AND the box it comes in are so flipping cute.  And then when you add that the product actually does what it claims, you’ve got a great gift.

The lemon body cream is a thick and rich overall body lotion.  I love the scent of lemons, so this is right up my alley.

Socks?  Socks, you say?  NOT JUST ANY SOCKS. Socks from the maker of the blardigan (and the baby blardigan). So basically, socks woven by angels.  If your mama already has a blardigan, these would be a nice addition.

These spa slippers are comfy as all get out, and lots of the reviewers online mention that they have problem feet and that these are great for them!  And…I know this is weird…but they smell like coconut.  Maybe it’s just the pair I received, but they definitely smell delicious.  Seriously!  Another great things about these slippers is that they are machine washable!  Others styles from the same make are available HERE.

The hand cream comes in a cute little flowery sleeve, which also makes for a nice presentation.  It smells lovely and is nice and thick.

So the packaging might not be pretty for this foot relief cream, but let’s look beyond the packaging.  Because it’s a FABULOUS product with near perfect reviews.  People are straight up OBSESSED with it.  Go check out the reviews.  Everybody says the mint scent is so fresh and that the cream leaves their heels smooth AND CRACK FREE.  SAY WHAT?  Everybody also says it’s fast absorbing.  When I read the reviews, I was sold.  The cream arrived just in time for the picture, but I am looking so forward to using it!
