It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

CHRIS’S NEW TOY
Okay, so I know this is a weird thing to have as the first highlight in Friday Favorites, but this cordless leaf blower will BLOW YOUR HUSBAND’S MIND. See what I did there? 😉
I know I had a Father’s Day Gift Guide on Wednesday that didn’t include this leaf blower… but it’s only because Chris just ordered it for himself on Tuesday night.
Well, it’s already been delivered. And he’s already in love.
Is it pricey? YES. BUT OH MY WORD IS IT POWERFUL. (There are cheaper alternatives HERE that still have good reviews, but Chris is so happy he sprang for this upgraded version.) He cannot get over it.
He’s had leaf blowers for years (both gas powered and a corded version), but he didn’t love the power and he certainly didn’t love having to be plugged in. NOT WITH THIS BABY! It’s cordless, so you charge the battery and then go! He spent a pretty penny on it because he’s going to use it both in McKinney and at the ranch, and he already thinks it’s 1000% worth it.
On Wednesday night (the night it arrived) he did about 7,000 things inside with it and had SO MUCH FUN Haha! He blew all of the dog hair out from under the couch, and I’m not sure if I’ve ever been so horrified. We also have this little landing over our front door that does nothing but collect dust. It’s up really high and we can’t get to it, so we’ve seriously been watching the dust just multiply for 10 years. Just last week I told him I was going to text the fireman that hangs our Christmas lights to see how much he would charge to come over with his big ladder and clean our landing. WELL, we no longer need his services! Last night Chris stood on the stair landing probably 20 feet away from the landing with the dust, and he blew every particle of dust onto the ground below. IT WAS RAINING DUST. And again, I was absolutely horrified. But now it looks amazing! I’m so excited!
Yesterday we got to the ranch, and he used it all over and was straight up giddy the entire time. He’s always done our yard in McKinney (we’ve never had a service), so he can’t wait to use it there too. He does say it’s heavy because the battery is LEGIT, but it comes with a shoulder strap, so he doesn’t have any issues using it.
Here’s the glamour shot he took of it. 🙂

It takes a lot to impress Chris with items like this, and he can’t stop talking about how amazing it is.
So anyway, if your guy does yard work and loves gadgets like this, Chris gives this 5 STARS. Surprise your guy for Father’s Day!

SHOPPING WITH SHEAFFER
Okay, so today I mainly have outfits that are made up of pieces from Nordstrom and Walmart (along with my favorite Aerie shorts). Many of the pieces are brand new, but some you’ve seen before (styled in different outfits or collages).
I’m totally smitten with this white eyelet skirt, and I have a feeling lots of y’all will be too.
This skirt is short, but y’all know I like short. 😉 The elastic waist makes it super comfy, and it’s awesome that it is 100% cotton and fully lined. I think it’s cute with sandals, but if you threw on some cowboy boots it would be perfect for a country concert. I think it would also be great worn as a swimsuit cover up at the beach!
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Sadly, it looks like it’s running low in stock in a couple of sizes…. so you can also click HERE for a super cute tiered mini skirt that is fully stocked right now. You can click HERE for lots of options, both long and short.

And here’s the look without the denim jacket…
I’ve had this turquoise necklace for several years, and while I don’t think I wore it any last year, I’m so happy to have pulled it back out!
white tee / white eyelet skirt / progressive readers / chunky hoop earrings / turquoise necklace / crossbody bag / multicolor beaded bracelet stack / matte gold bracelet stack / woven slide sandals
Okay, I’m going to talk about these two bracelet sets again because I can’t get enough of them. I find myself wearing one or both with almost every summer outfit.
Here I have them all mixed in together and love the look, but in a minute I’m going to show them stacked on top of each other.

Any sort of comfy dress with a relaxed fit is my jam.
This sweatshirt dress kind of took me by surprise because I wasn’t really expecting to like it as much as I do. It has both the relaxed fit and the elongated sleeves that I love, and I was really drawn to this salmon color. (Warning: it’s called “pink dawn”, but it’s much more salmon than it is pink.) It is sweatshirt material, but it’s a lightweight sweatshirt and it’s not fleece lined or anything, so I will still be able to wear it out on summer nights (like to dinner and a movie). For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
It would also look great styled more casually with a tote and sneakers.

Okay, so the next several pictures feature tops I’ve shown you before… but when I showed them the first time, I styled them with jeans. I wanted to show you that they all look great with shorts too!
This bell sleeve top also has the relaxed fit and longer sleeves that I love. It’s got a bit of a swingy fit, and I think the stitched detailing is so pretty. If you’re somebody that doesn’t like to do a half tuck, this is a great shirt for you. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

As promised, here are the two bracelet sets simply stacked on top of each other. I like this look too.

This floral button-up is lovely. It can easily be dressed up with linen pants and some heels, but I love it dressed down here with distressed denim shorts and flat sandals. The colors are gorgeous and the floral pattern is just plain pretty. Shirred gathers along the shoulders and neckline release to create the easy fit of this button-up shirt cut from an airy cotton-rich fabric for all-day comfort. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This button up blouse is right up my alley. If you don’t like a super swingy and super relaxed fit, then this blouse isn’t for you, but I happen to love both. The sleeves have a subtle puff and the material reminds me of crepe. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I feel like we need to take a minute to talk about my favorite self-tanning mousse because it is NOW ON SALE! This is the tanner I found last year because of another influencer (I think it was Dani Austin), and of all the self-tanners I love, this one is my favorite. It’s a rich creamy mousse that goes on so smoothly and is so moisturizing. It’s a dark color when it goes on which it’s 100% necessary for me because I need to see immediately if I missed a spot or if an area needs smoothing out. You can immediately apply more mousse and buff out any imperfections! The color is a beautiful golden brown (it’s not orangey at all), and although it will develop over several hours, you do get some great immediate color. I love this, because sometimes I forget to apply it and do it just before getting dressed and running out the door. You’ll want to grab the mitt too. (And fyi: I still think that the Fake Bake and St. Tropez products are awesome, but this one really is superior)
Okay, ladies! THIS NEXT DRESS is FABULOUS.
Sadly, I don’t think its fabulousness is translating through the screen, but I’m absolutely smitten with it in real life. It’s SASSY. It also happens to be very well made and has great reviews.
It’s one that I’m hoping to feature in a sponsored post in a couple of weeks, but I’m scared to wait because I’m afraid it will be gone by then.
It’s 97% cotton with 3% spandex, so it has the perfect amount of stretch in it. It’s a lightweight poplin that I’m in love with. It’s got a great plunging v neckline (but it’s not too revealing), and the tiered hem and pleating are perfection. AND IT HAS POCKETS! This feels very much like a J Crew or Anthropologie dress to me. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Now get this, this dress is UNDER $30.
It also comes in a solid pink as well as a black floral, a blue floral, and a green floral. I love it so much that I’ve ordered the blue floral as well.
dress / chunky hoop earrings / super similar cross necklace (looks real!) / gold cuff bracelet / studded heeled sandals
Want something floral, feminine, and flirty? Well, I’ve got the dress for you!
This ruffle shoulder dress checks all the boxes. The colors are stunning, the fit is perfect, and it’s incredibly comfortable. The ruffles are gorgeous, and this reads as a very expensive dress (but it isn’t!). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
ruffle shoulder dress / chunky hoop earrings / gold cuff bracelet / studded heeled sandals
I found a top I loved so much that I grabbed it in 2 colors (this fresh green, and a great graphic black and white I’ll show next.). I showed these tops with jeans last week, but I wanted to show them with shorts as well.
The square neckline, the exaggerated flutter sleeves, and a very relaxed fit, AND THE PATTERN. I love it all.
You know what else I love? The price tag. It’s a total steal at $22. For size reference, it runs on the big side, so I sized down to a small.
square neck top / denim shorts / multicolor beaded bracelet stack / woven slide sandals
And here it is in the black and white floral. It also comes in solid white and solid navy.
square neck top / denim shorts / multicolor beaded bracelet stack / woven slide sandals
And here’s the dress version of the above top…
You saw me highlight this dress last year in solid black, solid green, and a pink and orange floral. So for those of you that are keeping track, I NOW HAVE 4. BECAUSE I LOVE IT JUST THAT MUCH. Hey, when you find a $28 dress that works well for you, you don’t even need to feel bad when you grab it in several colors. #itjustmakesgoodsense
This dress is 100% cotton and 200% DARLING. It’s a crisp cotton poplin and absolutely looks like it costs at least 4x more than it actually does. It’s very well made, and I feel like a million bucks in it.
Size wayyyy down. I’m in an x-small, and I’m most often a medium in dresses. (Just to be clear, I’m wearing a small in the top version and an x-small in the dress version.)
square neck mini dress / cross body bag / chunky hoop earrings / turquoise necklace / multicolor beaded bracelet stack / matte gold bracelet stack / woven slide sandals
The colors, the pattern, the fit, the drawstring waist, the flutter sleeves, and the pockets! I LOVE IT ALL!
The quality is EXCELLENT, and it feels and wears like a much more expensive dress. It’s even lined!
And you’re not going to believe this, but it’s only $28. TWENTY EIGHT DOLLARS.
I’m telling you, I would pay $128 for this dress without even batting an eye. It also comes in denim and black.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. It’s a little tight through the chest (I have boobs and a big ol’ rib cage), but the medium was too big everywhere else, so I went with the small.
flutter sleeve mini dress / gold hoop earrings / crossbody bag / heeled sandals
I’ve got one more dress for y’all today, and it is absolutely CHARMING. I fell in love with this adorable green print, but it also comes in solid black, a solid red, and the same black and white geometric print as dress #2. It has functional buttons all the way up and down, and the cap sleeves and oversized belt are just too cute. I tied the belt in an exaggerated bow, but if you’re not a bow girl, you could easily just knot it. I’m between sizes in this dress, but I went with the small (even though it’s a bit snug in the chest). It’s a sturdy cotton, and it’s beautifully made.
belted utility dress / beaded earrings / layered necklace / similar hot pink clutch / pink slide sandals
I grabbed these sneakers because I liked the color combo, AND THEY ARE AWESOME. Skechers never let me down. These are true to size and crazy comfy. I love that you just slip them on and off super easily and don’t have to tie any laces.
They are a perfect match for this athletic gear. The tee is $12 and the shorts are $15. WHAT A DEAL! I’m wearing a medium in both the tee and the shorts.
performance tee / shorts / sneakers
Okay, one more absolutely adorable piece from Walmart. THIS CARDIGAN.
I’m obsessed.
I love a short sleeve cardigan, and this one is extra cute. It’s got nautical vibes, but it’s also super festive with the blue and white stripes and the red accents. You could of course wear it open over a tank or tee, but I like it buttoned up and worn alone too. Imagine it with white jeans. YES, M’AM.
It also comes in a solid red (I probably need it, right?), brown, black, white, and navy.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
cardigan / denim shorts / multicolor beaded bracelet stack / woven slide sandals
And at the 11th hour, these cuffed denim shorts arrived, so I wanted to throw them on to highlight.
They are a great option and a nice alternative for those of you that prefer a clean look (with no distressing) that has a little bit of extra length on them. They are nice and stretchy and are super affordable at just $15. I sized up to a 6 in these for a looser fit

HUGE BEAUTY SALE
When grabbing the tanning link above, I realized there’s a HUGE BEAUTY SALE going on at Nordstrom right now with THOUSANDS of items on sale. And not only are a ton of beauty products on sale (which we know rarely happens), but it’s also TRIPLE POINTS on beauty!
Here are some of the products I use for a great summer look…
Y’all know I often wear a raspberry lip, but in the summer I often times like to go more neutral. Charlotte Tilbury’s pillow talk lipstick is like the most famous neutral there is because it’s got some blush tones in it, which I love. However, I never wear it by itself. It always has to have a gloss on top. SHOOT! I just realized it’s not on sale, but the other two lip items I’m talking about are.
I really love a shiny lip. I’m not into the matte lip look at all, and you will always find me wearing a gloss. In fact, I often wear just a gloss, but even if I’m wearing lipstick I’m always wearing a gloss over it (even if it’s just clear). The Juicy tubes lip gloss gives me a super shiny lip and it is SO hydrating! This is another product I ordered specifically in preparation for my this post that I’ve been very happy with! I LOVE IT. I wear it on it’s own a lot too. It’s a perfect neutral shade and shine to wear as a natural look (with a hint of color) with a (faux) tan!

When I want an extra shiny lip, I swipe on some of this Anastasia Diamond Gloss. This gloss gives me the extreme shine that I often desire. (Tons of Anastasia products are 15% OFF right now!)
