Watching Carter love on Scout is one of my very favorite things to do.
Let’s not talk about the fact that Scout’s white face makes me want to bawl my head off.
Scout is 10 1/2 years old, and my sweet little guy loves him so so much.
Every single day I hear Carter say things to Scout like “You’re so cute Scout” or “I love you so much Scout”. They’re besties. And he calls him “ScouterBud” which is just too cute for words.
I could have a panic attack if I think about Scout’s age for too long.
This picture is just about too much for me to handle.
Continuing to see the love and support that you all are pouring over Manda has made my week.

Here at home, we have committees formed for everything so our friend won’t have to worry about mundane details of life while she is fighting this….
But please remember that even if you don’t know Manda, you can still help this sweet family!
We are hoping to raise lots and lots of funds to help ease the financial stress of this diagnosis.

However, we all know that co-pays and out of pocket expenses can be enormous.
And many of the homeopathic things she is doing (in conjunction with chemo) are not covered at all.

in my boobs (my poor Dad).

It’s actually a scoop neck, and the “cowl neck” thing you see is actually a separate scarf type thingy.
I know, I’m so technical.

Carter’s favorite shoes ever are Natives.
He has similar ones in 4 different colors from GAP, but last year we got him the red Natives and he prefers those over the GAP ones and wears them 90% of the time.
So, when I saw they were on sale, I thought we could go ahead and scoop up the blue and the
black too!

My friend Jeni (you know that told us about the taupe suede booties that are now sold out by the way)…well she bought THESE skinny cargo pants.
Shay ran into her after buying them, and she bought them too.
And then I bought them.
And they are FAB.
Perfectly stretchy and seriously flattering.
I’m normally a size 27 in pants (which is normally considered a size 4).
I bought a 27 in these pants (even though it says size 6), and the 27s were good for me.
So, pay attention to the waist size in inches, not the 2-4-6-etc. size if that makes sense

Sweet, sweet fur babies! We have a yellow lab that is 15.5. Watching her face turn white and realizing every day that she's not the spunky girl she use to be can put a lump in my throat. When my kiddos come back into the house just to tell he bye and that they love her before school – tears! Those sweet fur babies – they love us with every fiber of their being!
