Happy Wednesday, everybody! Today’s post was such a fun one for me!
You know I strive to bring you great style options every post, but I get especially excited when I can bring you great style at a super affordable price, and that’s exactly what I’m doing today with all of my Target finds!
I actually tried to do a Target haul about a month ago, but I just didn’t find anything I was excited to share.
WELL.
I have the opposite problem this month.
LADIES!
Today’s post is chock full of amazing finds that are all perfect for spring! I’m warning you, you’re going to be annoyed that you have to get up out of your chair to grab your credit card, BUT GO AHEAD AND GET UP OUT OF THAT CHAIR. It’s going to be totally worth it. You’re going to be be able to grab a great pair of shoes or a great bag for UNDER $40 (maybe less), or you are going to be able to spend about $100 and get an ENTIRE outfit…jewelry and all. AND you’re going to be DARLING.
With the exception of the sunglasses and the jeans, everything I’m wearing today is from Target. Oh, I am also wearing my Kendra Scott LOVE necklace, but EVERYTHING else is Target!
Let’s kick things off with this adorable sweater. It truly is a perfect spring sweater. Bright and happy colors, fun stripes, and a medium weight….PERFECT FOR SPRING.
And it’s soooooooooooo dang cute.

I love the tight cuffs, the band around them hem of the sweater, and the border color on the hem. It’s definitely my favorite piece I’ve found in the last several weeks. It’s something I know I will wear on repeat.
For size reference, I grabbed a medium because some reviewers wrote that even though it launders well, there is some shrinking that occurs (so I wanted to have some extra room). I LOVE THIS SWEATER.
The earrings are light as a feather and so unique! I’m wearing the “rust”, but they also come in ivory and mustard.

The gold bracelet stack (set of 5) and the colorful bracelet stack (set of 3) are both really great, and they look awesome both separately and together. I’m wearing them in every single outfit in today’s post, so they are super versatile.

This crossbody bag has near perfect reviews, and I totally get it. It’s small, but it’s definitely big enough for my makeup bag with the essentials, my phone, and my small wallet. It’s structured, a pretty tan color, and it comes in black and a multicolor snake print too. And get this, it’s just under $35.

Okay, y’all.
Let’s talk about these wedges.
Because they are FABULOUS.
They have excellent reviews (75 reviews, and 85% of them are 5 stars), and I whole-heartedly agree. Most of the reviews are totally raving about the comfort level.
Now listen, they are tall, but they truly are comfy and easy to walk in! The platform styling helps with this, but they are still a wedge (and not a true platform). I actually have trouble walking in a true platform (I feel too flat-footed), and I feel like a true platform is too chunky and isn’t flattering to my legs at all.
These babies are flattering, comfy, and totally hot. It’s like a wedge trifecta.
Oh, and they are also an incredible deal at just under $40.
distressed girlfriend jeans / wedges
And although they aren’t from Target, let’s spend a second on my distressed girlfriend jeans. They are from Amazon, I recommended them a couple of months ago, and I’ve received tons of feedback (at least 50 comments or e-mails!) from y’all letting me know that you ordered the jeans and love them too. They aren’t normal jean sizing, but at a regular 27 or sometimes 28 (depending on the jean brand), I ordered the medium.

Here’s the selfie view for those of you that prefer it…

And then just for fun, I wanted to take the same outfit and style it a bit differently. I switched out the structured crossbody for a slouchy shoulder bag, and I switched out the wedges for sneakers. More casual, but still SUPER cute.

If you like a big bag, then this bag is going to be for you. The interior is nice and roomy with 1 large zippered pocket and 2 open pockets. The braided handles are such a nice design detail, and the beige and tan color combo is perfectly neutral and great for spring. And although it looks like a rounded bottom, when items are in it, it will actually sit nicely without slouching.

Okay.
Get the shoes.
Seriously.
Get the shoes.
I have several pairs of Dolce Vita sneakers that I’ve purchased over the years (which run about $115-$125 each), and I love them all. And although I’ve never purchased them, I really do like the Golden Goose designer sneakers. BUT I LOVE THESE TOO. I think the animal print is great, but I love how it isn’t IN YOUR FACE animal print. They are totally neutral, but with a little bit of sass.
I have the laces tucked inside the shoes here, but after I took these pics I did a tutorial on how I like to tie them (like people tie Golden Goose). I saved the tutorial on my highlight and titled it “SNEAKERS” if you want to check it out. I love the way it looks, and I love that it makes the sneakers slip on sneakers.
For size reference, I wear a 6 1/2, but I purchased these in a 6. I would have liked to try the 6 1/2, but they only had a 6 at the store. I put them on and they worked! From reading the reviews, it sounds like most go with their regular size. If you are often between sizes, I would size down a 1/2.

Here’s a look at the the sneakers with the laces knotted on the sides like I prefer them. Again, you can head to the “SNEAKERS” highlight on ig stories if you want to see how I do it.

This smocked blouse is officially called “burgundy”, but I think of it more as a beautiful garnet red. The fabric is lightweight, it’s got a great square smocked neck, but the star of the show is definitely the flutter sleeves. You can wear it out (seen on the right) or do a 1/2 tuck (seen on the left). For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
smocked blouse / earrings /gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack / distressed girlfriend jeans / woven mules
These woven mules are what I think of as a perfect transition shoe for spring. They’re closed toe (so you don’t look silly wearing them in March when the weather is warm), but you could wear them all the way through summer and into fall as well. These are true to size, soooo comfy, and the reviews are dang near perfect They are just under $25 (what a deal!) and they come in black and beige as well.
distressed girlfriend jeans /woven mules
Obviously I’m wearing the same top and jeans, but I dressed the outfit up a bit with the wedges and this alligator print cross body bag. This bag is only $35, but it looks much more expensive than it is.

Here’s another look at the wedges…

Y’all know I love a military jacket. My only complaint about this one is that it doesn’t have pockets, but other than that, I think it’s great. It’s got a great collar, a bit of stretch, and I promise it will serve you well all spring and all fall. It will be a work horse in your closet. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I would say it runs a bit big and would suggest sizing down, especially if often between sizes.
And although they didn’t have it in store for me to see, I’m loving the mauve option that’s online!

Looking for a quintessential spring blouse? Look no further! This smocked blouse checks all the boxes. It comes in 2 colorways (see the navy below too), and has tons of really nice design elements. The v-neck, the smocking, the elasticized sleeves (that are a bit longer like I like), and the flowy fit….I love it all. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I have it half tucked here, but it also looks great worn out and flowy (you can see it like this below with the navy shirt).
smocked blouse / earrings / LOVE necklace/ gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack / distressed girlfriend jeans / slide sandals
How do you prefer it? Half-tucked or worn out? This navy one will look great with white jeans too, and I love the idea of styling it with my favorite boot cut jeans for a total boho chic look.
smocked blouse / earrings / LOVE necklace/ gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack / distressed girlfriend jeans / slide sandals
Here’s another floral blouse with a higher neck, but it still has a sweet little floral pattern and the elasticized sleeves that I like. I’m wearing a medium. It’s on the shorter side, so if you have a longer torso, you might want to pass. It’s really cute, but buyer beware because reviewers are reporting that it shrinks. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

So I gave you disclaimers on the above blouse, but I want to put out a public service announcement to not buy this next dress. I actually get a lot of requests from y’all to share misses. I don’t typically do that because sharing the hits takes so much time that I typically don’t want to spend any time on items that I’m not recommending, but every once in a while I’ll share a miss to show you how I don’t love everything, and not everything works on me.
This white eyelet dress was ALMOST right. It was ALMOST great. As you can see on the left, it has a pretty scallop hem and really beautiful eyelet designs. But as you can see on the right, the dress as a whole was a BIG OL’ MISS for me. It was wayyyyyyyyyyy too poofy up to and the neckline was too high. The proportions of the dress were just off for me.
For some reason I can’t find this online yet, but the brand is Universal Threads. I wish this dress was short sleeve and more simple up top. I think I would love it.
And while the above dress was a miss, I’m IN LOVE with this trapeze dress. It is such a “me” dress.
Shift dresses and A-line dresses are always my jam. They allow me to highlight my legs and NOT highlight my belly, and this dress really delivers.
The classic shirtdress idea is updated here with big tortoise buttons, cute little cuffed cap sleeves, and a crisp collar. I love this vibrant orange-y red, but there are several colors all on one link. You can also find the same dress in pink, khaki, and Kelly green HERE. All great spring colors!
I’m wearing a small here, but it’s pulling a bit in the chest. A medium would be too big for me otherwise, but I love this dress so much that I’m keeping it and just going to work on slimming down a bit. I need to anyway, and this dress is going to serve as motivation for me. I always gain and lose weight in my boobs first, so I know if I put my mind to it, the dress will fit me better next month!

I dressed it up a bit here by pairing it with the awesome wedges and this TOTALLY FABULOUS straw tote.
trapeze dress (plus size dress HERE) / straw tote / earrings / LOVE necklace/ gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack /wedges
This tote is seriously next level.
I think it looks like a $450 Shopbop bag.
BUT Y’ALL, it’s ONLY $40. The straw weave is tight and sturdy, the bag has great structure, and the beaded circle handle is so incredibly chic.

You might recognize this floral dress from my Looking Forward To Spring collage on Monday. This dress is gorgeous. I think it totally looks like a much more expensive dress from Anthropologie that someone might pay upwards of $200 for. It’s romantic and flowy, but it’s not too precious (if you know what I mean). THIS DRESS IS CHARMING.
It has an elasticized empire waist, which normally isn’t a great look on me, but it works with this dress! I’m wearing it here with wedges, but I also think it would be adorable dressed down with sneakers and a denim jacket.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
floral dress /earrings / LOVE necklace/ gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack / slide sandals
This midi dress has seriously fantastic reviews, and it’s ONLY $20. It comes in plus-size too.
To be honest, the fit isn’t great on me (a little too tight across the chest), but it’s obviously a great fit on most based on the awesome reviews. Head to the site to check out the reviews for yourself, and if you scroll down a bit, you can see the dress (in all of the different colorways) on lots of different body types.
As you can see, I’ve styled it here with booties, but I think it would be sooooo cute with the above sneakers as well!
And you can find my tote HERE. It’s awesome, totally affordable, and I’ve had it for years. It would make a great teacher bag. I love styling the tote with Madewell bandanas. They add a whole lot of style for only $12.50, and there are so many different colors and patterns to choose from.
midi dress (plus size midi dress)/ denim jacket / layered necklace / chunky gold hoop earrings / bracelet / booties ( block heel bootie option on Amazon that look identical)
In addition to all of the pretty floral pieces, bags, and sandals…I also grabbed some athleisure pieces if you want easy pieces for lounging at home and running around town.
This sweatshirt is a super relaxed fit, and it has a bit of stretch to it. It’s quite comfy, and I love the color and pattern (although there are several to choose from). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
The joggers come in lots of colors and patterns as well, but I liked the plain “pewter” the best. They are soft, comfy, and I love how you can pull them up for a cropped look. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
sweatshirt / joggers / sneakers
I’m wearing the same pewter joggers here, but I switched out the pullover sweatshirt for a zip up hoodie. I thought this “antique/pink leaf” pattern was a lot of fun and paired well with the simple joggers. For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the hoodie.

This open front cardigan is from last year, BUT IT’S BACK! I was so happy to have it in my closet all fall long, and I know I’m going to be just as happy this coming spring.
open front cardigan / white tee / embroidered cross body strap / earrings / LOVE necklace/ gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack / distressed girlfriend jeans / slide sandals
I’m telling you, you need this cardigan. This is me telling you to, m’kay? Haha! 🙂
It’s got an oversized fit (I’m wearing a small), so size down for sure if you want it to fit more like it looks on the model. I’m wearing the taupe here and think it’s a perfect neutral that will go with pretty much everything, but it comes in several other colors.

LOVE.
gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack
These slide sandals are fabulous.
They are designer inspired, but with a price tag of ONLY $25! I sized up a 1/2 for the perfect fit, and they are quite comfy. You know you want them. And here’s a tip, grab them quickly, because I have a feeling these babies will end up selling out. I’m wearing the “brown”, but I think they are more of a taupe.

Come on spring!

And let’s have a moment with these shorts. They are from last year, AND I STILL LOVE THEM. I was thrilled to see they brought them back this year. They are ONLY $18 (which is mind-blowing) and they have fantastic reviews. They are pretty distressed, but I dig the look. I totally recommend sizing up 1 (I’m wearing the 6s). The fabric is soft with a bit of stretch, but I still needed some extra room in the tummy.

I forgot to take an up-close picture of the shorts, but here’s a shot I found from last year with front and side views.
WHAT DID I KEEP?
Okay, so y’all saw A LOT of new pieces and outfits today! When I do these types of try-on hauls, I don’t keep everything, but I like to show some pieces that I don’t keep (but that I love)…..because even if I don’t need them in my closet, maybe you do!
Still, I thought y’all might be curious to know exactly what I kept!
I couldn’t live without this sweater, this short dress, this long dress, and this tote. I also kept all the jewelry (earrings / gold bracelet stack / colorful bracelet stack /). And I already owned this cardigan and these shorts.
Oh, and I kept all 4 pairs of shoes. #oops.
I’m so happy that these shoes all live in my closet now. Listen, you could grab all 4 pairs for $115!!!! I mean, you could get your spring and summer shoe wardrobe knocked out today for such a deal!

Okay, y’all!
DID YOU LOVE THIS HAUL?
Because I LOVED this haul.
I FREAKING LOVE SO MANY OF THE PIECES I FOUND!
Do you want me to make Target hauls a more regular feature on the blog? Sound off in the comments!
And what haul would you like to see next? Old Navy? Walmart? J Crew Factory? I’ve been seeing some cute things on those sites, so let me know what you are thinking!
Shay Shull says
Girl, I was HERE.FOR.IT today!!!
Gentry says
All the Target please!! It’s perfect for my busy mom wardrobe!
Julie C. says
I would LOVE to see Target hauls more often!!! It’s nice to see more affordable options sometimes. I would vote for either Old Navy or Walmart…or both 😉 Thank you SO MUCH for all you do!!!!! even if I can’t always afford to buy new clothes, I still love seeing what’s out there & how to style it.
Sheaffer says
Yes, Julie! People always want me to be wearing new linkable items that are in stock, but even if they sell out or you just can’t buy a new item at that time, I hope everybody walks away with styling ideas! xoxo
JoLynn says
Thanks Shaeffer for always keeping us up to date style-wise;). I have a quick question about the Amazon jeans – I ordered them but they have a weird smell & I’ve washed & dried them and can’t get that out…did you experience that? I really like them but can’t get past the smell? Wondering if anyone has any tips???
Sheaffer says
Hi, JoLynn! Oh no! Mine didn’t have a weird smell, and I haven’t heard that from anybody else either! Does anybody have any tips for things they’ve done in the past to help with something like this? I would say maybe hang them outside for a couple of days, wash in a strong smelling detergent, and then wash with several dryer sheets! Maybe that would help! xoxo
Kelly Henderson says
Hi! Soak them overnight in white vinegar then rewash them. This is what I do when my kids soccer gear gets out of control and washing it doesn’t help the smell. One other thing to try might be hang them out outside or in a garage to airout but I would still soak overnight in vinegar, it’s a game changer!
Sheaffer says
Great tip! Thanks, Kelly!!!!
JoLynn says
Thanks to both of you for your tips!!
Erika Slaughter says
Sign me UP for a Target haul!!
KD says
I bought the sneakers! My size was only $21!!! Now I just need the snow here in Mpls to melt so I can wear them 🙂
This haul was so fun – thanks for your hard work on it! I love the idea of an Old Navy or J Crew Factory haul.
Amy says
I tried that white eyelet dress on in the store a few days ago, and I had such high hopes for it. But, yuck. I had the same thoughts as you. The sleeves were way too poofy, and the top was all wrong. Glad to see I’m not the only one that thought that!
Brooke says
Girl, you know we have our Target cards saved on our accounts. 😉 I love a good Target haul!
ariane buffum says
ok so i want to be annoyed with you BUT….I just cant those sneakers! I had to make a trip and I had to try them on and I had to buy and find out they are adorable!!! I got them in the regular size and I think that after i watch how you tied them they will be AMAZING for spring!!
Sheaffer says
YES, Ariane! They are adorable!!!!
Allison Dogaer says
Those floral shirts are a total “allison” shirt!! Thanks for giving my credit card a work out!
Would love to see any hauls from the stores you mentioned. I have a hard time with Old Navy as everything is usually so blousy and baggy.
Alison says
Yes! Definitely more Target hauls!! They have really stepped up their clothing/shoe game in the last 5 years, but I rarely take the time to browse the apparel when I’m there. #kids I would love to see your good picks so I know what to look for right away!
Karen says
Such fun items. I’ve got my eye on a few of them I’m going to have to go check out for my upcoming trip to FL. I wanted to share that I struggle with a lot of the designer style sneaks because they are so often just flat with no arch. Yesterday I got a pair of Dr. Scholls inserts for “designer sneakers”. GAME CHANGER!!! I’m so excited to get a few more pairs for several of my designer sneakers and the possible new ones that I may or may not pick up at Target thanks to you. :o)
Sheaffer says
Great tip about the inserts, Karen! Thank you! xoxo
Erin D. says
I never even think of clothes shopping at Target, but I ordered both the orange smocked blouse and the navy and can’t wait to try them!
Kimberly says
I so loved this haul and thank you for sharing. I love J Crew so if you would do that one next please. I actually enjoy all of you post.
Stephanie says
Hi Sheaffer! I loved this haul and immediately ordered the sweater in black and pink. Soooo cute!! The black actually worked better for me. Perfect spring sweater! Thanks so much for sharing!
