Last week we had a post ALL ABOUT DRESSES!
Today we have a post ALL ABOUT PANTS! 12 pairs of pants actually.
We’re talking jeans, trousers, cords, and black denim. We’re talking high-rise, mid-rise, boot cut, wide leg, straight leg, and ankle length.
I’ve been showing lots of different pants over the last month or so, so I thought it would be a good idea to put all the pants I’ve been talking about on one post for easy reference. 8 of the pants on today’s post are pants you’ve seen before (some of them multiple times already), but 4 of them are BRAND NEW.
1) faded black straight leg jeans / 2) ankle flare cords / 3) patch pocket flare jeans / 4) Aliyah jeans
5) itty bitty boot cut jeans / 6) wide leg cords / 7) boot cut cords / 8) black itty bitty boot cut jeans
9) crop bootcut jeans / 10) crop raw hem wide leg jeans / 11) flat front wide leg pants / 12) flare jeans

First let’s talk about the classic sweater that you’ll see with all 12 pairs of pants today! It’s a relaxed fit, lightweight (but warm), and just a great basic. I’m wearing it in black, but it actually comes in 30 colors and it is NOW ON SALE! Grab at least 1 color. I promise you will wear it all fall and winter long. I would suggest sizing down. I’m wearing a small and like the fit, but I could probably even do an x-small and still have it be roomy.
Y’all! My new crop bootcut jeans (#9 in collage) THAT I’M IN LOVE WITH were recently added to SALE! I couln’t believe it! They were on October’s Top 12 list, and they were easily my most worn piece of clothing in October (and so far in November).
They’re a very soft denim with great stretch, so they hug your curves in all the right places. Also, the denim is a good weight, so you fill held in. The seams on each side of the bottom of each leg are my favorite part. It’s such a nice detail, and they really modernize the whole look. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

Here’s a close up of the super cute seam details.
And ladies. If you need a new pair of booties, I THINK THESE MIGHT BE THE BOOTIES. I’m wearing them with 11 our of the 12 pants in today’s post.
They are a beautiful neutral (these are the “light neutral”), and I’m happy to have them in suede, but they do come in some leather options too. They have a sleek look, clean lines, a square toe, and a tapered block heel. I love them so much.
Comfy and true to size.

Here are the first pair of pants today with a different top…
This lace blouse is darling and somehow manages to be both chic and a little bit boho. It’s super feminine and all sorts of lovely. It’s a perfect mixture of lace and embroidery, and it really is just so so pretty. It’s fully lined and really just beautifully made. I love it by itself, but you can also layer it with all sorts of things on top. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

These straight leg jeans (#4 in collage) are fabulous, and although they aren’t on sale, they are only $68. They are stretchy, comfy, flattering as all get out, and what I consider to be a perfect straight leg option. They are longer than the first pair shown today, but since they have a raw hem, you can easily cut them yourself if you’d like them shorter.
And since they are clean without any distressing, they would be appropriate for jeans days at work. I know that wide leg jeans and barrel jeans are all the rage right now, but I have to say, I still find a nice straight leg jean to be more figure flattering. These are a mid to high rise with a slightly frayed hem. I like the length on me with these booties, but I might actually cut a bit of length off so they will show a little ankle on me when wearing sneakers or flats. For size reference, I’m wearing a 27. If between sizes, I would suggest sizing down because of the forgiving nature of the stretch.

And here are the same jeans with a fabulous blazer…
Everybody needs a classic black blazer that they love in their closet (I own this one and LOVE IT), but this brown herringbone one would be a nice addition too. It’s tailored with 1 button, tiny puff shoulders, and a rounded hem. I absolutely love the feminine fit. It’s girly and quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I’m loving my new cognac belt too. You’re going to be seeing this in a ton of outfits!

These flat front wide leg pants (#11 in the collage) are a great option for the office if you want to look totally put together, but feel like you’re wearing pajamas. They have the powermesh panels that we’ve all become obsessed with, and they mold and hold while still being comfortable and allowing you to breathe. 😉 I’m telling you, the comfort will astound you. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
Here’s 1 review I found on the site:
And y’all, the reviewer made a great point… these pants don’t wrinkle! Because of that, they’d be perfect for travel as well.

And here they are with a different top…
This pointelle cardigan is pretty, feminine, and soft as can be. It can of course be worn over a tee, blouse, or cami… but I’m really loving cardigans worn on their own right now. In addition to pink, it also comes in an emerald green and an ivory. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

These ankle flare cords (#2 in the collage) are from Kut from the Kloth and have the perfect amount of stretch in them to make them both comfy and flattering (while not stretching out too much during the day). I’m wearing booties with them today, but the ankle length also makes them great for fashion sneakers, mules, flats, and Mary Jane’s. The color you see below is called “Rosemary”, but I just think of them as a really pretty neutral. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

And here are the cords with a different top…
We’ve talked about leopard being big this year. I mean, it’s always been a thing and was never out (I mean! It’s classic!), but it’s really big this year. So what better way to embrace it than with a classic crewneck sweater? This one is lightweight but warm, and it’s crazy soft. The fit is a little bit loose, so I love that it’s not form fitting but not big and boxy either. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I just showed you ankle cords, and some boot cut cords are up next, but how about these wide leg cords (#6 in the collage). These come in regular and petite, and I’m wearing the 4 regular. I do think they are maybe a bit overwhelming on my 5’4″ frame (there’s a lot of fabric), so they would probably be better suited for you taller gals! I would order the petite, but I’ve found with other WW pants that the petites are too short on me because even though I’m 5’4″ I have long legs for my height (and a basically non-existent torso). They are a great pair of pants, and I think they are an excellent non denim option for teachers and even those that work in business casual environments.

Here they are with a different top…
I love that the wine and plum colors are all the rage right now, and this crossover pointelle sweater is just so pretty. This is actually called “beet red”, and it also comes in black, evening blue, and pink smoke. It’s great with a pair of denim, it would be great with a pair of nicer work pants (think black, grey, or neutral), and I think it would also be super cute with a pair of cords (like these ankle flare cords or these bootcut cords). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the sweater.
You can wear the banded hem out, or you can tuck it under (like I’m doing below)

These corduroy boot cut pants (#7 in the collage) are 100% fabulous. I’m wearing the “camel” here, but they come in 9 colors, so of course I’m tempted to grab a 2nd color. They’re super soft, they have a great amount of stretch in them so they’re both comfy and flattering, and I love having a non-denim option in my closet for fall. Please pay attention to how long my legs look. I’m only 5’4″, so it’s definitely an illusion. #magiccords (And I have to say, these suede booties are pretty much a perfect match. If you pair these booties with these cords your legs will go on for dayzzzzzzz.)

And here are the boot cut cords with a different top…
This floral blouse is ohhhhh sooooo fall. The colors are deep and moody, and the floral pattern is lovely. Head to the site and zoom in on the blouse to see all of the pretty details like the pintuck pleats across the front, the tiny ruffled collar, the velvet tie, and the wide elastic cuffs. I’m completely smitten with this blouse. It drapes beautifully and is quite roomy, so you might consider sizing down. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium below, but I think a small might be better.

Now let’s talk about these frayed hem boot cut jeans (#5 in the collage). The leg is slightly flared, and I love the frayed hem. I actually think they are kind of like a super subtle wide leg. They have the mold and hold technology that we all love, and they will make you feel like a million bucks! Again, I for sure feel taller and skinnier with them on. True to size, I’m wearing a 4.

Here they are with a different top…
I’ve shown you a neutral version of this boatneck sweater several times already (in “heather oatmeal”), and I liked it so much I was compelled to buy it in the “coral punch” too. But I would definitely describe this sweater as red (and not coral), which is great because I love red.
The scallops on the neckline are beautiful, and the detail all the way down the top of the sleeves is really lovely.
It’s very lightweight and can easily be dressed up or down. It tucks in nicely, but the banded hem is very flattering and looks great worn out too. I showed you the heather oatmeal in a medium, but I’m wearing a small in this red version. I much prefer the fit of the small. It definitely runs on the large side, so I would recommend sizing down.

These flare jeans (#12 in the collage) are a dark denim wash, so they look polished, and they will make you feel fabulous. They have the shaping panels that mold and hold (THANK YOU WIT AND WISDOM), and like all of their full-length jeans, they will make you feel taller and skinnier (than you already are). 😉 If you’re tall, these could be dressed down with sneakers. But they could also be dressed up with heels! Pair them with a fancy top for a casual holiday party. I’m wearing my regular size 4 in these, but size down if between sizes.

If you want a pair of new denim that leans dressy and is CRAZY flattering, I gotchu. These dark wash flare jeans (#3 in the collage) have the super cute patch pockets in front, so they’re probably a bit different than the other jeans already in your closet. They are soft, comfy, stretchy, and super slimming. Definitely size down 1 size because they for sure run big.

And here they are styled with some holiday flare…
A festive tweed jacket? YES, PLEASE! I’m in love with this. It’s just so so fabulous. Black, cranberry red, and light pink all come together for the cutest plaid pattern you’ve ever seen. And did I mention TWEED? For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If between sizes, I think you can size down.

These black itty bitty boot cut jeans (#8 in the collage) are pretty new to me, and I think they’re great. Y’all know I’ve been a lover of the Wit and Wisdom bootcut jeans for years and years, so grabbing this washed black pair was pretty much a no brainer for me. I like how they’re not shiny black like some black denim is, and they have a bit of a “lived in” look in person. They are insanely flattering and comfy (with the stretch), which is the perfect combination. They do have the brand’s Contour Shape Technology, which makes for a smooth and tailor made fit! For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.
And I have to say, I’m digging the all black look here. I’m feeling really chic.

Here they are with a different top…
I saw this animal print layered sweater in store, and it immediately stopped me in my tracks. First of all, animal print is HUGE right now. But secondly (and the reason for my instant obsession), is that I absolutely LOVE the layered look of a tee under a sweater, but I can never achieve it on my own. When I try to do it by myself, the proportions are off AND it often looks bulky. But I’m a big ol’ fan when it’s done for me. The tee is attached to the sweater vest so it creates a clean look, but it can be taken apart by just unbuttoning it, so you can if you wish. When attached, just slip them on at the same time and you’re ready to rock n’ roll. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I would say that the vest is definitely fitted, so size up if you want a more oversized look.

I grabbed these faded black jeans (#1 in the collage) last year or maybe even the year before, and they are an absolute work horse in my closet. They added some needed dimension with both the color and the fit. They’re a heavier denim and have a bit more structure than most of my WW jeans, and I’m so excited to be wearing them again this fall. They’re good with booties, with flats, with mules, and with fashion sneakers. They hit at the ankle and have a frayed hem. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

Here they are with the leopard top I showed you with the ankle cords earlier…
You can see in this picture how they are really more of a dark faded grey than black.

These crop raw hem wide leg jeans (#10 in the collage) are pretty similar to the pair above, but they are a bit shorter, and the legs are a bit wider. So where I would consider the above jeans a straight leg, I would definitely consider these a wide leg. They also come in olive, dark indigo, and light indigo. I think these would be very cute worn super casually with a sweatshirt and sneakers. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

I love those Kut from the Kloth corduroy boot cut. That is my favorite brand, but they are always so long in length.I have to find someone to do alterations.
You look great!
