When denim isn’t the vibe, but when you don’t want to be too dressy either, corduroy pants just might be the answer!
You can find tons of corduroy pant options at Nordstrom HERE.
You can find some great corduroy options at Loft HERE.
And some more great cords at Anthropologie HERE.
Today I’m going to be highlighting two different pairs from Kut from the Kloth. One is an ankle flare, and the other is a boot cut.

BOOT CUT CORDS
Let’s start with the boot cut.
These corduroy boot cut pants are 100% fabulous. I’m wearing the “camel” here, but they come in 9 colors, so of course I’m tempted to grab a 2nd color. They’re super soft, they have a great amount of stretch in them so they’re both comfy and flattering, and I love having a non-denim option in my closet for fall. Please pay attention to how long my legs look. I’m only 5’4″, so it’s definitely an illusion. #magiccords (And I have to say, these suede booties are pretty much a perfect match. If you pair these booties with these cords your legs will go on for dayzzzzzzz.)
This floral blouse is ohhhhh sooooo fall. The colors are deep and moody, and the floral pattern is lovely. Head to the site and zoom in on the blouse to see all of the pretty details like the pintuck pleats across the front, the tiny ruffled collar, the velvet tie, and the wide elastic cuffs. I’m completely smitten with this blouse. It drapes beautifully and is quite roomy, so you might consider sizing down. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium below, but I think a small might be better.

Ladies. If you need a new pair of booties, I THINK THESE MIGHT BE THE BOOTIES. I’m wearing them in every single one of today’s outfits.
They are a beautiful neutral (these are the “light neutral”), and I’m happy to have them in suede, but they do come in some leather options too. They have a sleek look, clean lines, a square toe, and a tapered block heel. I love them so much.
Comfy and true to size.

I’ve shown you a neutral version of this boatneck sweater several times already (in “heather oatmeal”). I liked it so much I was compelled to buy it in the “coral punch” too, and I showed it last Friday with regular boot cut jeans.
I would definitely describe this sweater as red (and not coral), which is great because I love red and I think it looks great with these camel cords.
The scallops on the neckline are beautiful, and the detail all the way down the top of the sleeves is really lovely.
It’s very lightweight and can easily be dressed up or down. It tucks in nicely, but the banded hem is very flattering and looks great worn out too. I showed you the heather oatmeal in a medium, but I’m wearing a small in this red version. I much prefer the fit of the small. It definitely runs on the large side, so I would definitely consider sizing down.

I love that the wine and plum colors are all the rage right now, and this crossover pointelle sweater is just so pretty. This is actually called “beet red”, and it also comes in black, evening blue, and pink smoke. I’ve already shown this sweater with ankle denim, boot cut denim, and pleated black pants and it looks great with all of them. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the sweater.

I showed you this sweater with ankle jeans on Friday, but look how great it looks with these cords. So chic!
Sadly, there are only larges left, but you can luckily find 2 other color options with better stock HERE! WooHoo!
My favorite is the chocolate brown with a blush pink, soft blue, and cream floral pattern. There’s also a taupe option with blue, gold, and cream accents. There’s just something about a zip-up and stand-up collar like this one that always has me feeling put together. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And I showed you this exact outfit last Friday, but I needed it to live on today’s cords post too.
Initially I told you with great certainty that this raglan sleeve sweater was going to be on constant rotation for me this fall. WELL I WAS RIGHT. I LOVE IT. It’s incredibly soft and cozy. It’s a wool/cashmere blend, but it is not itchy AT ALL, so don’t let the wool blend scare you because I don’t do itchy sweaters. I’m wearing this fabulous camel and pink stripe combo, but it also comes in a black and white stripe combo as well as in several solid colors. I like the ribbed collar and sleeves, the banded and ribbed hem, and the exposed seams on the shoulders are a nice touch. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
The price is high, but I personally believe this sweater is worth it. I also like that it’s thin enough that it can easily be worn under a close-fitting jacket. And it’s nice enough to be dress up for the office.

ANKLE FLARE CORDS
Just like the above cords, these ankle flare cords are also from Kut from the Kloth and they also have a perfect amount of stretch in them to make them both comfy and flattering (while not stretching out too much during the day). I’m wearing booties with them in all of today’s outfits, but the ankle length also makes them great for fashion sneakers, mules, flats, and Mary Jane’s. The color you see below is called “Rosemary”, but I just think of them as a really pretty neutral. I’m wearing my regular size 4.
We’ve talked about leopard being big this year. I mean, it’s always been a thing and was never out (I mean! It’s classic!), but it’s really big this year. So what better way to embrace it than with a classic crewneck sweater? This one is lightweight but warm, and it’s crazy soft. The fit is a little bit loose, so I love that it’s not form fitting but not big and boxy either. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Okay, ladies. I KNOW ME, and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this sweatshirt was going to be one of my favorite and most worn shirts of the season. And you know what? I was right! I’ve already worn this countless times. Is it flashy? No. Is it a great basic that happens to be flattering that I know I will reach for all the time? 1,000% YES.
This sweatshirt is soft, it’s cozy, and it’s cute. And while it is a sweatshirt, it is totally elevated with the slightly puffed sleeves (but they’re not aggressive at all) and the banded hem. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. And I’m not the only one that loves it, it has excellent reviews. It also comes in black, navy, and cherry tomato (which has been restocked in some sizes!). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I’m a big ol’ fan of this all neutral look.

Because I’m apparently really digging the Western vibes these days, check out this plaid button up that kinda makes me wanna say yee-haw! 😉 I’ve already shown it with regular denim, but I think it looks great with these neutral cords too.
This top also has excellent reviews. It’s 99% cotton and 1% elastane. I don’t know how that 1% makes a difference, but it totally does. It’s got a perfect little bit of stretch to it that I really appreciate in a button down. These sleeves are part ruffle and part puff, but totally darling. (You can see an up close and detailed shot of the sleeve on the site, and you can see it actually looks a little tailored. It’s realllly cute.) I’m in love with this shirt. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium and like the fit. Some reported they sized down, but the buttons at the chest definitely would have pulled if I had sized down (so I’m glad I stuck with my regular size).

This sweater didn’t get nearly enough attention the first time I talked about it. It looks very Boden to me (with fair isle prices that are closer to $200), but this one is a fraction of the price!
FRIENDS. I’m always drawn to fair isle sweaters, and this one is EXTRA DARLING. The colors! The pattern! The fit! The soft feel! I love it all! And I’m totally swooning over how bright and happy it is.
It’s definitely more on the fitted side, which I’m not normally a fan of in a sweater, but I actually love this fit. Pay special attention to the ribbed crew neck, the ribbed wide hem, and the oversized ribbed cuffs. They all come together to make the sweater quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It’s size inclusive ranging from size xs to 4x.
Oh, and get ready to be blown away by the price!!!
(Heads up, it only has a 3-star rating, but please keep in mind there’s only 2 reviews. 1 review is 5 stars, and the other is 1 star. I happen to agree with the 5-star review.)

I love these cords! Could you send a link to the booties? I can’t find them at Nordstrom, and the link only takes me to the Nordstrom website.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Christi! I checked a couple of links and they were working for me, but here it is again: https://shopstyle.it/l/cujS0
If it still doesn’t link to the boots specifically for you, look up “Marc Fisher Yanara Pointed Toe Bootie”!
