What’s Up Wednesday

Happy Wednesday, Everybody!  It’s time for everybody to join up today with Shay and me to let everybody know WHAT’S UP this fine Wednesday!

WHAT WE ARE EATING

I’m going to show you a couple of random meals I’ve had this past week that I really enjoyed.

Carter and Chris went out one night to grab burgers, but I stayed at home and had some leftover air fryer salmon and oven roasted green beans.  I added some chopped up tomatoes and the potato is a Hasselback Potato from Trader Joe’s.  I have no idea why it’s called that, BUT IT’S DELICIOUS.  You find it in the frozen food section, and you heat it up in either the microwave or the oven.  It’s crispy on the edges and creamy on the inside. It comes in a 2 pack, and I’ll get them again for sure.

And y’all.  This tortilla soup from Costco?

One word.

YUMMY.

I just added some cheese, some tortilla chips, and a dollop of sour cream.  It’s SO GOOD.

WHAT I’M WATCHING

There is sooooooooo much good t.v. on right now.  First of all, I’M OBSESSED with The Voice.  I cry at least once every episode.  These people are so dang talented I can’t stand it!  And Thursday nights leave me whipped after Grey’s Anatomy and A Million Little Things.  YES, I still watch Grey’s.  And you know what?  YOU SHOULD TOO.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON

I’ve had lots of beauty posts recently, and I’ve had SO MUCH FUN trying out new products, new brands, and finding new favorites!

WHAT AM I WEARING

So here’s the honest truth.

I’m wearing these leggings/joggers every chance I get.

And I mean that very literally.

I originally bought this tie dye crewneck sweatshirt to wear with jeans, but I was so excited when I realized it was long enough for me to wear with my new favorite lounge leggings.  (It won’t be long enough for everybody to wear with leggings, but it works for me!)

It’s called a sweatshirt because of the styling, but it’s not as thick as a standard sweatshirt.  I’m wearing a medium.  A small would be okay on me with jeans, but I like the little bit of extra length in the medium.

I’ve talked about these soft pocket lounge leggings several times, and I will continue to.

BECAUSE I LOVE THEM.

They are different than any other Zella pants I’ve ever tried.  They are high waisted like the live in leggings, but the waistband is a soft ribbed material, and there are cute little cuffs at the bottom as well as “regular” pockets.  They fit like a legging, but the style is more of a jogger style, AND THEY ARE SO FLIPPING CUTE.

They are even softer than normal leggings and even more comfortable than normal leggings.  FOR REAL. And I’m telling you, the fit is adorable.  Mine are the black and for size reference, I’m wearing a small.  They added a navy and a wine color recently, so you might want to grab one of those too if you are in love with them as much as I am.

I want to wear them every single day.

This time was just for a day at home with a basic sweatshirt and some cute slippers.  I’m wearing a small in both the sweatshirt and the leggings.

And because it made complete since for me (since I rarely take the black ones off!), I just grabbed them in “purple claret” too.  I think they are more of a wine color than a purple, and I love them.
