This post is sponsored by Walmart. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote products that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
It’s no secret that Walmart is absolutely KILLING it in the fashion game right now. KILLING IT. If you haven’t checked them out for yourself yet, I promise you that you are missing out. The deals are truly incredible, and the pieces are fantastic.
Walmart actually has several brands that have become favorites of mine, and I always search them when I’m preparing for a post or when I’m just shopping for myself. Today I’m focusing on one of their brands that never lets me down: Free Assembly! And they don’t just have stuff for us ladies, they have awesome pieces for the entire family! Click HERE and then choose women, men, boys, or girls depending on what you are looking for!
I’m focusing mainly on tops today and have 10 DARLING tops to share, all from Free Assembly. And not only are they all adorable, they are also super affordable! One of the tees is only $10, and the most expensive top in today’s post is just $32. WOW!
And FYI, as I was writing this post over the weekend, I threw even more Free Assembly items in my cart. This fair isle sweater looks designer to me, but it’s ONLY $35 (and it comes in a dress too). I got the dark colorway in the fair isle. And this mixed medial layered v-neck is on its way to me as well.
Let’s kick things off with this preppy sweatshirt. I love it so so much. The body is sweatshirt material, but the crisp puffy sleeves kick it up to the next level. The sleeves are striped and gathered with tiny pleats. They really elevate this sweatshirt into something special. And right now it’s ON SALE for ONLY $19! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Last week was cold where I live, but this week is supposed to be much milder. I’ll be wearing it this week for sure!
The sleeves are fabulous.
The bracelet is no longer available on the site, but maybe you’ll get lucky if you run into your local Walmart! It’s under $6.
I styled it with my straight leg jeans, but I think it will look great with my boot cut jeans too!
These straight leg jeans are so soooooooooooooooo good. And the fact that they are ONLY $16.87 is pretty unbelievable. I’m wearing the light wash here, but they also come in a dark and a medium wash. Heck, if you can’t decide what color you want, you could buy all 3 pairs for right at $50! #whoah
They are 70% Cotton/28% Polyester/2% Spandex, which means that they do have the bit of stretch that I now REQUIRE in a pair of jeans. Because as I’ve gotten older, I’ve determined that life is too short to wear jeans that don’t have some give. They are a great fit, and I love the on trend straight legged styling.
TIE SLEEVE POLO
I’m completely smitten with the colors in this tie sleeve polo top. The combo of the pink and the wine together is so much fun! And the collar! And the tie sleeves! It’s all fun.
This style also comes in a dress that you can find HERE. The dress isn’t available in this color combo, but you can grab it in a pink and green combo or a navy and maroon combo. It’s on sale right now for only $19 as well!
Okay, y’all. Throw these earrings in your cart right now. They are classic gold hoops, but they are hammered metal, so they have a little bit of glimmer to them. And you’re not going to believe this, but they are only $3.88.
And eighty-eight cents.
And seriously. The sleeves are too cute.
Are you still having warm days where you live? If you are, grab this shirt!
Maybe it’s cold where you are already! If so, you’re going to want this fleece. It’s very cozy, will keep you warm, and the oversized fit is perfect for layering. And y’all know I love the stand-up collar. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
This one also comes in navy, forest green, blush, and red.
Are the earrings already in your cart? They should be. 😉
All of the tops in today’s post are Free Assembly, and so are these high rise skinny jeans. They are high waisted, but not too high, if you know what I mean. And since they have stretch in them, they are super comfortable to wear. I sized up to the size 6 in these, but I wonder if the size 4 would be better. They are a bit long on me, so you might see here that I have them folded up and under, but I still have the denim hem showing.
Now let’s talk about these sneakers.
They are soooooooooo comfy and soooooo cushy (thanks to the memory foam!), sooooo cute, and they are just under $20.
I’m in love with the retro styling and the neutral colorway. I’ll be wearing them this fall of course, but they’ll also be great through winter and into spring. These are actually awesome year-round sneakers. I’ll definitely be wearing them with leggings as well.
Also, you can see here how I have the jeans folded under, but still left the hem exposed.
This fleece is going to be perfect for the ranch! I can hardly wait to cozy up around the campfire in it.
$10 BOXY TEE
I have two basic tees in today’s post. I love both of them, but I think this striped tee is my favorite.
The reviews on this tee are excellent, and it is ONLY $10!
It is made of 100% organic cotton, and it comes in 40 colorways (some solids, some stripes). I’m wearing the winter bloom stripe.
The tee features a ribbed, classic crew neck and a roomy, boxy cut. It’s cropped to sit at the hip for a trend-right look, but it’s still long enough on my frame to do a 1/2 tuck as well. This is a tee I know I will wear constantly.
It’s soft, comfortable, and just as cute as can be. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
These camo sneakers were in my Top 3 favorite Walmart Finds from last year, so I was thrilled to see they brought them back this year!
They are an awesome option if you want to add a fashion sneaker to your wardrobe, but you don’t want to pay the $150-$500 for some of the more well-known sneaker brands of the moment. They are super comfy, have a cushiony foot bed, and they are just so dang cute. True to size for me. Styling Tip: Instead of tying the laces like you typically would with a sneaker, I tied them so they can be slip on sneakers (like the designer sneakers). If you aren’t sure how to do this, I show you how to tie the laces on my 3rd instagram story highlight that is titled “sneakers”.
It’s super cute on its own, but it’s also great for layering under cardigans and light jackets. In fact, this is the tee I’m wearing under the half zip fleece above.
Speaking of great tees, this is the $12 ringer tee that recently went viral.
It’s totally simple and super basic, but it’s awesome. It is on the fitted side, so I would recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
A great tee, a great pair of jeans, and a great pair of sneakers.
Who doesn’t love a great sweatshirt?!?
This pullover hoodie is incredibly soft and has a cute color blocking design on the shoulders and sleeves.
It’s cute with jeans, but I also think it will be awesome with joggers or sweatpants. Depending on your height, it might work for leggings as well, but I think you’ll need to size up for some additional length and be 5’2″ or under.
PLAID RUFFLE TOP
A lot of the Free Assembly stuff is on the casual side, but this plaid ruffle top is a little #fancy. I’m wearing it pretty casually with grey jeans here (also from Free Assembly), but even styling it with black denim would dress it up a bit! You could even wear it with coated denim, or wide leg pants, or maybe even a pencil skirt.
The plaid, the ruffle, the asymmetrical design… I love it all.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
These grey jeans are the exact same jeans as the light washed skinny jeans I’m wearing above, they’re just in grey.
It’s a fun look styled with the cognac, don’t ya think? A bit unexpected, but fun.
PLEATED SHOULDER SWEATER
This pleated shoulder sweater is crazy soft. Like super crazy soft. The quality is awesome, and the pleated shoulders and ribbed hem and cuffs is such a nice design touch. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
This is a sweater that would be great for an office environment as well. It would look awesome with a pair of grey or black slacks.
MIXED MEDIA SWEATSHIRT
This mixed media sweatshirt gives a great layered look, without all the extra bulk of true layers. I’m wearing a medium here, but I definitely need a small. The sleeves are too long, the overall length is longer than I’d like it to be, and the shoulders need to be slimmer as well. I love it though, so I’m returning for a small.
The little plaid peeking out is adorable. There’s also a navy sweatshirt with navy, green, and black plaid peeking out too.
Just a little bit shorter and narrower all over, and I’ll love the fit.
The cuff has a cute little split too.
PREVIOUS FAVORITE PIECES
In previous months, I’ve featured other Free Assembly pieces like this pea coat! IT’S FABULOUS, and right now it’s ONLY $30 (and still available in most sizes).
It’s a relaxed fit with the classic styling of a pea coat in a casual cotton. It’s got a cute striped lining in the hood, and a white drawcord coming out of the hood. It’s 100% cotton and the quality is fantastic. This looks like another coat I have that I paid $150 for, and I actually like this one more.
I am wearing a medium, but the sizing is very generous, and I think I would prefer the fit of the small.
This is going to be the perfect coat for me to wear to football games when the weather starts to get cooler at night, but it’s not cold enough for a puffer or something heavier.
This colorblock fleece is another Free Assembly favorite from the past.
I can tell you that this is a piece I will wear constantly once the temperatures drop, which is why I also grabbed it in the olive and pink. Because a girl likes to have fleece options. 😉
WALMART FOR THE WIN
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been BLOWN AWAY by Walmart lately.
Oh, and if you missed September’s post, click HERE! Most of the items are still in stock and they are SO GOOD (and of course super affordable)!
A huge thank you to Walmart for the super affordable and on trend fashion choices and for sponsoring this post.
So I’m curious, what was your favorite Free Assembly piece today? If I had to choose just 1 top, I think it would have to be the $10 striped tee. It’s so good! But I do love the half-zip fleece, and I have to say I do love my new high waisted skinny jeans too! Oh wait! I also love the green plaid ruffled top. I can hardly wait to style it with black skinny jeans. See? #killingit
