Happy Monday, Everybody!
I hope everybody had a great weekend with their people and are now ready to roll into a new week.
I’m excited about kicking off this week with today’s post with Walmart. BECAUSE Y’ALL. I’ve got some awesome finds. I’m talking super cute jeans for UNDER $18, on trend boots for $40, lots of different tops (sweaters, fleeces, sweatshirts) for UNDER $30, and even a pea coat for ONLY $40! And here’s the real kicker y’all, THE STUFF IS DARLING.
Because let’s be real, things can be a great deal, but if you don’t love the item, you won’t wear the item…. which means it’s not worth the money. Even if something is $10, you need to love it to justify buying it.
If you’ve shopped Walmart for clothes before, I know you are already excited about today’s post because you know the quality is there. If you haven’t shopped at Walmart for clothes before, I’m asking you to trust me.
I can promise you that you will be amazed.
First and foremost, the clothes are CUTE. The fact that they are so affordable is just a bonus.
Let’s start out with this outfit that is simple and classic.
A white tee, a camel cardigan, and a great pair of jeans.
Everybody needs this outfit in their closet.
And get this…this gorgeous camel cardigan is $15.98.
It comes in 6 colors, but I went with the “urban khaki” which is actually a beautiful camel. It’s soft and the perfect weight for early fall. I love it here with jeans, but it’s definitely nice enough to wear with a nice pair of slacks or a pencil skirt to the office as well.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. In cardigans like this, I would often get a small, so you might want to consider sizing up if you like a generous fit. If you like a slim fit, stick with your normal size.
Ladies, these straight leg jeans are so soooooooooooooooo good. And the fact that they are ONLY $16.87 is pretty unbelievable. I’m wearing the light wash here, but they also come in a dark and a medium wash. Heck, if you can’t decide what color you want, you could buy all 3 pairs for right at $50! #whoah
They are 70% Cotton/28% Polyester/2% Spandex, which means that they do have the bit of stretch that I now REQUIRE in a pair of jeans. Because as I’ve gotten older, I’ve determined that life is too short to wear jeans that don’t have some give. They are a great fit, and I love the on trend straight legged styling. I read several reviews, some saying they ran small and some saying they were too long. Because of this, I ordered 2 different sizes. I ordered a regular 6 and I ordered an 8 Petite. I would have ordered a 6 Petite, but for some reason the petite sizing doesn’t start until size 8.
I think I would like a 6 Petite the best if they had them available, but I went with the 8 Petite because I liked the length.
These lug boots are straight up fabulous. And at just $40, they are a great way to try out the lug boot trend if you’re not sure. Because that was me, I was seeing them everywhere, but I thought I would think they were too clunky on me.
WELL. I actually love them. And I or course love that they are so affordable. The chunky soles with tread make them look very different from other boots in my closet, and I like that. And I love the color. I’m typically a 6 1/2, and the 7s are perfect for me.
This bag isn’t from Walmart, but I suggest checking out this Walmart bag option with excellent reviews. I like the unique shape.
And just for fun, I thought I would change things up a bit. Everything is the same except I changed out the bag and the shoes. I just wanted to show it a bit more casually.
My black bag isn’t from Walmart, but check out this black tote option with studs!
These camo sneakers were in my Top 3 favorite Walmart Finds from last year, so I was thrilled to see they brought them back this year!
They are an awesome option if you want to add a fashion sneaker to your wardrobe, but you don’t want to pay the $150-$500 for some of the more well-known sneaker brands of the moment. They are super comfy, have a cushiony foot bed, and they are just so dang cute. True to size for me. Styling Tip: Instead of tying the laces like you typically would with a sneaker, I tied them so they can be slip on sneakers (like the designer sneakers).
Okay, so in outfit #2 I’m wearing almost all of the same items you saw in the outfit above.
The only thing different is that I switched out the cardigan for a pea coat.
And this pea coat is FABULOUS. AND it’s ONLY $40!
It’s a relaxed fit with the classic styling of a pea coat in a casual cotton. It’s got a cute striped lining in the hood, and a white drawcord coming out of the hood. It’s 100% cotton and the quality is fantastic. This looks like another coat I have that I paid $150 for, and I actually like this one more.
I am wearing a medium, but the sizing is very generous, and I think I would prefer the fit of the small.
This is going to be the perfect coat for me to wear to football games when the weather starts to get cooler at night, but it’s not cold enough for a puffer or something heavier.
Okay, another totally different look, and all I did this time was switch out the pea coat for a bright pink cardigan.
Also 100% cotton, this cardigan is also incredible quality and also incredibly cute.
Sadly, the pink is sold out right now, but it still appears to be fully stocked in a navy and a creamy white. Notice how the design and texture are different on each side of the cardigan. Also notice the contrasting dark buttons. I’m wearing the medium, and it’s quite oversized, but I like the slouchy look with this sweater.
And here’s another close up of the jeans!
THESE ARE GREAT JEANS.
If you’ve been hesitant to try straight jeans, grabbing a pair for under $20 is the way to go!
The color combo of this sweater is what initially caught my eye. I think the muted olive paired with the pink is so much fun! It also comes in pink with a yellow stripe as well as a solid grey and a solid white.
If you want to try this sweater, you are going to want to size down for sure. I’m wearing the small here, and it is still roomy.
It’s got a high neck, so keep that in mind if high necks are bothersome to you. The online pictures do show how you can fold it down when styling it, so that is an option.
The neck, the sleeves, and the hem all boast a ribbed texture and all are oversized. The sleeves are a slight bell, but not super dramatic.
And here’s another look at the sneakers.
Because they deserve some more attention.
And how about this fleece!!!
There is absolutely no denying that this fleece is DARLING. The color blocking, the color combo, the zipper, the collar! I love it all! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I showed this one in a large on Friday, but my medium arrived and the fit is definiely better.
I can tell you that this is a piece I will wear constantly once the temperatures drop, which is why I also grabbed it in the olive and pink. Because a girl likes to have fleece options. 😉
Now let’s talk about these sneakers.
They are soooooooooo comfy and soooooo cushy (thanks to the memory foam!), sooooo cute, and they are just under $20.
I’m in love with the retro styling and the neutral colorway. I’ll be wearing them this fall of course, but they’ll also be great through winter and into spring. These are actually awesome year-round sneakers. I’ll definitely be wearing them with leggings as well.
Speaking of leggings, y’all know I always love a good leggings outfit.
And this is a great one.
This mixed media hoodie is an awesome find.
As the site says, it’s “part sweater, part sweatshirt, and totally fabulous“. For what it’s worth, I do consider it to be much more sweatshirt than sweater.
The relaxed and oversized fit speaks to my heart. And while I’ll wear it with jeans as well, my favorite way to style it will be with leggings. For size reference, I’m actually wearing a large. I follow another influencer who is teeny tiny, and she sized up to a medium to get the fit she wanted, so I figured a large would be good for me. The shoulders are big, but I still liked the super generous sizing for this particular item.
For these leggings, I would recommend sizing down in them. I grabbed them in a medium because I wanted them to be comfy for lounging around, but they were too big on me. I think I would like them in a small better. They are an incredible value because you can grab a 2 pack for just under $12, so it might be worth it to you to give them a try.
And for the final outfit today, I’ve got a full zip sherpa.
And what could be better than pink on pink?
The zipper, the pockets, and the hem of the sleeves are all a contrasting light pink.
This jacket is adorable, and the quality is excellent. It reminds me very much of a similar jacket you can get at another retailer for like 3-4x the price. It also comes in a basic black and a neutral mocha as well, but I prefer the bright and vibrant options like the royal blue/fuchsia and the dark and light teal combo. They’re so happy and fun! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
And I’m sorry, but how cute is this tumbler?
I laughed out loud at the “Odds are high this isn’t coffee” messaging. It comes in a 2 pack, and the other tumbler says “Game On”. Both are super cute.
I was also excited to find similar tile bracelets that look pretty much identical to the tile bracelets I own. They add so much pizazz to outfits!
I’m ready to head to the ranch in this outfit. It’s perfect for hanging out by the campfire or on the front porch. I’d also wear it running around town on a crisp fall day, or maybe to a high school football game.
You know, when it’s important to be warm, but you also want to be cute.
1 MORE OUTFIT
And just one more outfit for today, just because…
When I say fall fashion on a budget, I mean it.
The cardigan is $18.98, the jeans are $16.87, and the lug boots are only $40!
So, are y’all as blown away by these clothes as I am? I truly am delighted with these fabulous finds. AND THEIR PRICES? Forget about it! It is my hope that y’all are willing to try out some Walmart clothes today, even if you never have before. The quality and the cute factor are both excellent!
A huge thank you to Walmart and Shopstyle for the super affordable and on trend fashion choices and for sponsoring this post.
