I’m so excited about today’s post. Like I’m practically giddy.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been all about dresses this year. Spring and summer dresses have been my GO TO. Yep, your girl who used to wear denim shorts all summer long has definitely taken a liking to dresses. I’ve found that they are so easy to throw on, I’m loving how comfortable they are, and they make me feel totally pulled together with little to no effort.

Well, today I’m highlighting 6 dresses that are ALL UNDER $40!

And you’re never going to believe this, but 3 of the dresses are under $20, and two of them are under $15.

This t-shirt dress is super soft, incredibly comfortable, and crazy cute! It’s hard to believe that it’s only $18. It comes in 6 color choices, but this punchy pink and coral stripe was a no brainer for me. I’M IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR COMBO AND THE STRIPES. It’s just so fun! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Low-key style with maximum impact. So easy, like slipping on your favorite tee, this dress gives off effortless cool girl vibes. The best part? Besides being super soft, this T-shirt dress works well with sneakers for casual-day fun or wedge heels for a dressier spin.

WHITE EYELET DRESS ($13)

This eyelet dress is precious, but not too precious (if you know what I mean). I LOVE IT. I’m showing it in this first pic with a fab crochet bag, but in the other pics I’m showing it with a tote.

THE DRESS IS $13. Yes, I said THIRTEEN DOLLARS.

What in the world? I mean, it is regularly $18, but it’s on rollback for $13.

Look how pretty the eyelet fabric is!

It’s got a split neck, dainty little ruffle sleeves, it has pockets (woohoo!), and it’s FULLY LINED!

All for $13.

It definitely looks more expensive than it is. I would pay $100 for this dress and not even bat an eye. It’s really well made!

This rose quartz ring totally surprised me. It’s a beautiful piece of jewelry, definitely worth the $15 price tag. The stone reminds me of Monica Vinader pieces, a quality jewelry designer that’s carried at Nordstrom.

It’s seriously gorgeous.

The dress is 63% Cotton/34% Nylon/3% Spandex, so it’s definitely got some give to it. I do find the collar to be a little bit awkward, but I got over it.

This is a dress that I imagine a lot of you will end up grabbing in at least 2 colors. There are several other colors that are perfect for summer and several that will transition great into fall as well. Throw a denim jacket on over it and it’s perfect for cooler temps. TWO MORE DRESSES

I had two more dresses arrive yesterday, so I quickly grabbed some mirror selfies so you would have a chance to see them too.

This colorblock midi dress is $19.98. I love the flouncy shape and the color block color palette, but I would prefer a cotton blend to 100% polyester. The spaghetti stripes can’t be adjusted for length, but I do like the whimsical ties. The square neck, the tiers and the midi length are all flattering. And it has pockets! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.  If on vacation, this would be a perfect dress to go from the pool or the beach straight to dinner. It’s soooo cute and has #plentyofroomfortacos.

This smocked midi dress has mixed reviews, but I really like it. First of all, the color is gorgeous. It’s a vibrant orange that will look killer with gold jewelry and a tan. The sleeves can be worn on the shoulder or off, but I prefer on. The smocked bodice makes it look high end, but it’s only $36. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

MORE DRESSES

And because I’m dress crazy and literally couldn’t help myself, I rounded up some more dresses, all $40 and under!

Many of them are from Scoop, one of the newest brands at Walmart that you can find HERE. Scoop used to be an iconic New York City boutique, but the store closed its doors a few years ago, and now it’s back as a Walmart-exclusive brand. Scoop is known for fun and flirty pieces, fabulous colors and patterns, and pieces that don’t break the bank! I’m seriously impressed with the brand.

SWIMSUITS (Both Under $25!)

And I know this post is all about dresses, but a couple of swimsuits caught my eye, and I couldn’t resist highlighting them. I think this one-piece animal print crinkle swimsuit is incredibly chic. I mean, IT HAS A BELT! I feel like it looks like a suit you would get at a high end swimwear boutique and pay like $150 for, but this one is ONLY $15. For size reference, I got a medium.

With an elegant scoop neck and flattering high-leg silhouette, this women’s bathing suit is highlighted by a belt that is accented by an organic shape resin ring front and center. The beautiful allover animal print on textured fabric is the perfect finishing touch for the pool or the beach!

This bandeau swimsuit is my favorite style. I think the strapless full coverage fit looks best on my body type, and I love the ruching on the sides (it’s so flattering!). There’s a removable strap that I will use, but I also love having the strapless option. This one is just so fun and tropical! For size reference, I got a medium.

This molded tote bag is inspired by the famous Bogg Bags. Most Bogg bags are larger with a bit more structure, but this one still has the look. It’s made of “Eva” (like the Birkenstocks I featured last week), so this bag is super sturdy, waterproof, and can be easily cleaned.

CARTER’S SWIM TRUNKS, FLIP FLOPS, and BEACH TOWELS

When shopping for myself for this post, I couldn’t help but grab a couple of things for Carter as well. I also grabbed a 4 pack of beach towels.

Carter is a huge fan of the flip flops. They are so comfy and they look cool too. True to size.

The swim trunks are great, but they really need to be bigger for Carter to be comfortable. These are 12/14. They really need to be 14/16, but the sizes topped out at 12/14. There are so many patterns to choose from!

I had to include this one because Chris and Carter were having some fun at my expense. He was doing various poses and declaring “Sheaffer Told Me To!” with each one. Haha!

So, I have to ask. Were y’all totally blown away by these dresses? Isn’t it crazy how affordable they all are?!? You could actually grab all 6 dresses that I wore in today’s post, and you would only spend $136. FOR SIX DRESSES. If you get the two t-shirt dresses and the eyelet dress, you would only spend $46. FOR THREE DRESSES!
