HAPPY MONDAY, Y’ALL!
I’m so excited about today’s post.
As we all know, school is right around the corner and teachers everywhere are getting their classrooms in order and preparing to greet a room full of new kids. And y’all, getting ready for a new school year is expensive! Each and every year, so many teachers use their own money to stock their classrooms with the materials they know their kids need to succeed. They do it with a smile on their faces because they love their jobs and they love their kids, but we can help!
Over the last couple of years, there’s been a movement for communities to pitch in, and I think it’s genius.
With everybody pitching in just a little, we can all help buy these much needed materials. And in doing so, we lift some of the burden off of the teachers.
The kids get what they need and BONUS…the teachers feel supported!
On last Monday’s post, I opened up comments for teachers to throw their name into the hat for me to share their teacher Amazon Wish Lists with my readers. Over 140 comments were left, and I used a random number generator to choose 20 different entries. Today I’m sharing the teachers that already got back to me. I had just planned on sharing these wish lists over on instastories, but I don’t get much traction over on instastories, so I thought it would be better if I made a blog post out of it as well!
Let’s all pitch in today, y’all! I kicked things off last night by buying something off each of the wish lists, and I really hope y’all will join me. Somebody buys a box of manipulatives, somebody else buys some books and markers, somebody else buys some crayons and folders….and all of a sudden the classrooms and the teachers are taken care of!
LET’S BLESS THESE TEACHER’S SOCKS OFF Y’ALL!!!

They are such hard workers and such a joy to teach. I truly appreciate any help to give them the best learning environment possible and the tools to be successful in school and life. Hi! My name is Julie George, and I am from Olathe, Kansas which is a suburb of Kansas City. I am getting ready to start my 24th year of teaching. I taught 2nd grade until I was surprised to find out that I was expecting twin girls! I decided to stay home with them and my 2-year-old son. As you can imagine, there were some crazy days with three kids under 3, but it was then that I knew I wanted to start a new teaching chapter, loving on the littles every day in Kindergarten. Now, ten years later, I still have a passion for teaching 5-year-olds how to “do school” and love learning through hands-on play. Every day is an adventure, but this last year was challenging in a way I have never experienced due to COVID. I am excited to start this upcoming school year and am so thankful to Sheaffer for recognizing the impact that teachers make each day!

Oh my goodness! This is so exciting and such a huge blessing. Thank you!!!
I am excited to start my 24th year teaching Special Education students in Bixby, Oklahoma. My class has 4th-6th grade students with a variety of needs including Autism, Down’s Syndrome, and Multiple Disabilities. I love having my students for several years because the class becomes a family. Our favorite class tradition is giving birthday toasts. It’s such a delight to hear the students recognize the things they appreciate about each other. When I’m not teaching, I love to hang out with my nieces, nephews, and my sweet Goldendoodle.

Hi, Sandy! I’m so sorry, but I had over 140 comments on last Monday’s post, and from that comment thread I used a random number generator to pick 20 “entries” for me to share. If I end up sharing more lists, it would only be fair for me to share from that list first. Again, I’m so incredibly sorry! I wish there were a way for me to share EVERYBODY’S wish lists. Heaven knows all of you deserve some help! xoxo
