2015 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Open To The Public! BEST DEALS! FAVORITE FINDS!

TODAY IS THE DAY!
If you are not a Nordstrom cardholder, I’m imagining it felt like A SWEET FOREVER waiting for this sale to go live.
Well, NOW IS THE TIME LADIES!
THE SALE IS LIVE!
Try to regulate your breathing and remain as calm as possible. 
This is a super long post (like it’s even long for me), but make sure you read to the very bottom of the post because I’m giving details about the Score Report contest!

So today I’m going to be highlighting all of my GREAT finds from when I shopped at Northpark on Tuesday.
I put on a fall-ish outfit when walking out the door to go shopping.  I knew I was going to be trying on coats, cardigans, and scarves…and I wanted to look the part!  🙂
Sidenote:  Chris thought I was crazy for walking out the door in jeans and boots considering it was supposed to be 104 that day.  I just told him he would never understand.  😉

These pants were very slimming, a good quality fabric, and an overall great pair of pants.  If you have an office job, I think this would be a great basic to have in your closet.

This is a top that I loved with my regular distressed jeans…but it would also look amazing with grey jeans…and awesome with suit pants.  It is very sheer, so you would need to wear a cami under it.  (THIS is my favorite cami that’s only $12!)

My UGG boots from last year were one of my very favorite purchases last year.  I wore them constantly.  Out doing errands…to dinner…to the mall….running Carter to school….even just around the house when my feet were really cold!  I ADORE them.

Sooooo many of you have told me that you think this year’s Anniversary Sale blardigan is better than last year’s version.
And I 100% AGREE.

I think it looks great with jeans, but it could also be worn with nice pants or a skirt for an office environment.  It comes in solid colors (including black), but it also comes in a myriad of patterns and colors!

This top is a normal length in the back.
It can be worn out (as seen on the left), but it also looks great with a 1/2 tuck!

The color of these is perfection AND THEY HAVE A SIDE ZIPPER NOW which makes them super easy to get on and off.  (I pretty much had to fight with mine every time I put them on and took them off last year.)

UGG Tall LEATHER BOOTS

Are these comfy?
Well, they ARE from UGG.
Nuff’ said.
They are VERY comfortable, and they have lots of great detail.
It says they run small, but I didn’t find that to be the case.
I’m sometimes a 6, but more often a 6 1/2, and the 6 1/2s were perfect for me!
I like these with jeans, but they would be FABULOUS with skirts and dresses.

VIGOSS JEANS!

These Vigoss might just be my favorite to date, and I’m hoping they are now restocked!
They are stretchy, and soft, and fit like a glove.
They have a little bit of distressing, but not too much.
For the record, I did NOT like the white Vigoss jeans that are in the sale.  They were 
way too distressed.

Wit and Wisdom Jeans

Do y’all remember back in December when I named a pair of Wit and Wisdom jeans a MUST HAVE and many of you went crazy for them?
Well, if you were one of those people, you are going to be super happy about this item.

I love that they are ankle length on me (I’m almost 5’4″), and they definitely have a higher waist than the Vigoss jeans if a higher waist is what you are looking for.  For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

SAM EDELMAN LEOPARD HEELS 

I tried these on yesterday, and they are awesome.
I’m not typically a heel person, but these spoke to me.
They said, “You don’t need us…but look how pretty we are.“
If you ARE a heel person, I’m pretty sure they are saying “Make me your mommy.”
They are totally sexy, but they are very comfy and not too high at all (2 1/2 inches)!
And the heel kind of looks like it’s croc.

For size reference, I was wearing a medium in the bronze jacket, so I suggest sizing up.  I  LOVED the high collar!

I think this jacket is true to size, and I’m wearing a small.
I’ve never owned a Northface jacket, but I’m really considering the bronze one on the left.  I think it would be great to throw on with workout gear or jeans.  Not bulky at all, but very warm!

    It's 3am here and I just woke up to order a blardigan….and some scarves. Sleep means a lot to me so shopping at 3 am means you've done your job well Shaeffer on informing America of their NEED for this cardigan ? -signed the girl who's standing in the dark bathroom so her husband doesn't ask why she has the credit card out at 3am (Kayla)

    So, I set my alarm and managed to get a few things I'd had my eye on – including the Vigoss jeans!:) I had a poncho in my bag and it sold out before I could buy it, so I'll be checking back for that! Got the TOMS desert booties I'd been eyeing, a Street Level black leather tote, and a striped shirt a la Kate Middleton. Still pondering a blardigan…They're still in stock, but I know I better decide quickly!

    So, I thought my 9 online orders and 2 trips to the store were excessive during Early Access so I swore no.more.shopping! Couldn't help myself this morning … DV over the knee boots back in stock, Ivanka gray booties, that adorable popover in green, leopard scarf and that burgundy leather moto jacket – well that is a no brainier at that price! If I am not Level 4 by now, I would be surprised! You are a BAD influence but I love you anyway!!!!!

    Another year of amazing finds. I definitely took several of your suggestions last year and fell in love with quite a few pieces. Thank you for that! I was so bummed this year when I opened up the sale only to find that there were no maternity clothes included. Ugh! Pregnant ladies want to look cute too. Looks like I'll be shopping for accessories until next year.

Let's talk more about styling booties, I feel like I only wear them with my vigoss jeans and need to justify the Ivanka Trump gray booties. So fun to shop with you!

    I got my first Wit and Wisdom jeans yesterday and LOVE them. The Vigoss didn't ever fit me right and I've ordered and returned about 4 pairs. Ha Ha. So anyone who is not a Vigoss fan the Wit and Wisdom are fabulous!! Great finds — thanks for helping us look great this fall!

    soo.. I set my alarm for 1am (MST)..put it on vibrate and off to sleep I went… at 1am my alarm started blaring out Taylor Swift in the highest volume.. what the heck.. after my husband then went back to sleep I sneaky got my phone, turned on my side and typed in kate spade sparkle studs.. I was shaky, sweating… we're these still going to be there??…. I have never placed 9 pairs of earings so fast in a 'bag' and checked out. I was scared half way through they would say ' sorry this item is no longer available' .. wahooooo for me!!!!!

    Thank you for listing SAM EDELMAN LEOPARD HEELS on your post this morning! I seriously have been waiting to buy leopard heels for TWO YEARS but didn't feel like I could drop over $100 on them. When I saw them on your post this morning I ran over there and got them! I may or may not have worn them around the house when I returned home. 😉

      Hi there! Of course I will! My other go to stores are LOFT and Anthro. Old navy, gap, and j crew factory sometimes make appearances as well. However, it's pretty much all Nordstrom during the anniversary sale….the sale is just too dang good!!! Xoxo Sheaffer 🙂

    For the pleated hem sweater that has the surprise back, you post you got a small, and in an earlier post, you had on an XS. Do you remember what made you get the small? I ordered an XS and am now reconsidering if I need a S. Thoughts?
