This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote pieces that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
A couple of weeks ago I showed you a fabulous military jacket and a cross body tote in a post that was actually about 2 pairs of spring denim. Today, I’m going to incorporate both pieces into two more outfits. Yep, it’s another edition of Style It Again, Sheaffer!
When I know an item has been popular with readers and I know it’s an item that the majority of readers could really use in their closets, I like to continue showing new ways to wear it so you can continue to get new styling ideas. The first time I showed the jacket I styled it 2 ways: 1) with a striped sweater, skinny jeans, and camo sneakers (click HERE to see it) and 2) with girlfriend jeans, a blush tee, and neutral mules (click HERE to see it). And today I’ll be showing you two more outfits with the jacket.
But listen, before we get to today’s outfits, I have something I’m super pumped about and can’t wait to share. Wit and Wisdom came out with a 4″ frayed hem denim short! Mine are of course already on their way to me (and you know I’ll show them as soon as I get them), but I’m sooooooo afraid that they are going to fly off the shelves as soon as other bloggers spot them. If you’re a lover of the brand like I am, go ahead and click HERE to grab yourself a pair. They are a great wash, I love the little bit of length, and they are going to have the Wit and Wisdom stretch that we LOVE. I’m SO EXCITED. (Wit and Wisdom actually has tons of shorts in all different lengths, styles, and washes to choose from. Click HERE to check them all out for yourself.)

OUTFIT #1: Military Jacket With a Pink Striped Tee and White Denim
In this outfit, I love how the olive jacket pairs so nicely with the pink striped tee and the white denim. I think it’s such a fresh and bright look!
Y’all know I believe a military jacket is an essential piece to have in your closet, and I own several. Every year I try to find a great one for y’all, and this is definitely a great option. It’s soft and comfy with just a bit of stretch. It hits below the hips so it covers a bit of the booty, the olive green acts as a neutral, and you can cinch in the waist to give yourself some shape. Oh, and it has a stand up collar! For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the jacket.

Here are the white jeans I first showed you last week. Click HERE to see them styled with 10 different outfits.
I already told the story that when I went to initially grab the link for these jeans, I realized they are actually called “ankle skinny pants”. However, I totally think of them as just super soft and awesome white jeans. Now that I see that they aren’t called jeans, I get it, because they are SO DANG SOFT and stretchy….but I really do think of them as jeans and will style them like they are jeans. They are 53% cotton, 29% polyester, 15% rayon, and 3% spandex. I think there must be at least 5% unicorn dust in them too because they’re just that good.
They are really stretchy, very slimming, and incredibly comfortable. I love the white button and the little side slits at the ankle. They aren’t see thru, but I of course still recommend wearing nude undies. They actually come in 8 colors, and I predict that some of you will like the fit and comfort so much that you will end up ordering them in at least 1 more color.
Now, full disclosure, you can see the pockets in them just a bit. This is usually a deal breaker for me with white jeans, but for some reason it’s not for me with these jeans. I’ve decided that I actually prefer to see the pockets a bit over having white jeans with fake pockets. I really don’t like fake pockets. If they bother you, a quick trip to a tailor could fix this if you just ask them to hem the pockets shorter, but they don’t bother me enough to warrant the alteration.
Let’s talk sizing. I normally size up in white jeans and go for a size 6. The size 4 in these are perfect for me, which is my regular size in regular denim, so that makes sizing a bit confusing. Size 4 is my normal size, but I often order a 6 in white jeans, and the size 4 is perfect for me in these. To sum it up, these do run a bit big, so you might consider sizing down from the size you normally get in white jeans.

These turquoise earrings are a new favorite for me. They are teeny tiny, and although there’s just 1 post, there’s 2 little studs. They are so fun to wear, a little bit edgy, and I’ve received so many compliments on them. You can wear them horizontally or vertically, and when you wear them horizontally I think they look like you have double holes.
I’m also very happy with my new lipstick and gloss combo. I’ve got a beauty post coming up next week with some new spring picks, but in case you don’t want to wait, I’m wearing this lipstick (in Happiberry) and this gloss (in a color that’s not longer available). Spoiler Alert: I LOVE BOTH.

The cross body tote is spacious, versatile, and a really great basic. I chose the classic cognac, but it also comes in solid black and a black with cognac straps. My favorite way to carry it is with the attached cross body straps, but it has handles as well. It’s an investment at around $178, but it’s very well made and a classic style that will last you years and years.
I’ve had some readers ask if it will fit a laptop. My 15″ laptop fits in width wise, but it hangs out the top. I’m guessing it might fit a 13″ laptop, but it would be close.
And you guessed it, I infused some color and fun into the outfit by tying a bandana on it. The exact bandana is sold out, but you can find a lot of bandana options HERE.

OUTFIT #: Military Jacket with a Red Tee, Straight Jeans, and Camo Sneaks
This is the type of outfit you will see me in all time.
v neck / military jacket / sunglasses / beaded hoop earrings / layered necklace / distressed high waist cropped jeans /camo sneakers / cross body tote
This jacket looks great with so many different colors, including this red! Now listen, let’s talk a minute about the tee. Although I love the color and the fit, I can’t recommend the t-shirt. They described it as “distressed”, but I had no idea what that really meant (because I didn’t read the entire description). The tee actually has a couple of holes in it. I’m good with distressing and holes in jeans, but in this tee, it didn’t look purposeful to me. It just looked like it had ripped in a couple of different places. I had already planned this outfit for the post before I saw the holes, so they aren’t super noticeable. However, once you notice them there’s no going back! If you look on the “soft earth” color on the site, you’ll see one of the holes to the right of the v neck. I love the raw edges and the vintage feel, I just can’t get past the holes.
The layered necklace is one of my newest Kendra Scott pieces, and I think it’s fabulous. The longer layer is beaded, and the shorter layer has these fierce spikes (some with bling, some without). It’s delicate, but it’s got some edge to it.

So this is going to be a surprise to many of you, but these jeans aren’t from Wit and Wisdom. Y’all know I pretty much wear Wit and Wisdom exclusively, but these are Vigoss! And if memory serves, I think Vigoss is the denim brand that I first talked about on this blog almost 8 years ago.
For those that are looking for an alternative to a skinny jean, but don’t want to go full on mom jeans or baggy boyfriend jeans, these are a great option. They are straight leg, they are cropped, they are distressed (without being destroyed), and they are just different enough to make me feel super stylish. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 27. They do have some stretch in them, but they aren’t quite as stretchy as my Wit and Wisdom jeans.

This bracelet set is DARLING. It’s a stack of 3, and it combines colorful discs and navy discs with large matte gold beads. I ordered the pink set also, but one of the bracelets was quite a bit larger than the others, so back it went. It’s worth mentioning that there’s now 1 review of the bracelets on the site, and it talks about the fact that they are too big. Like I mentioned, the pink ones were too big for me (specifically 1 of the 3 just seemed very stretched out). I wonder if the pink set is bigger than the navy set, because the navy set is fine on me.

I’m bummed for y’all that this exact bandana is no longer available, but there are lots of bandana options.

Fashion sneakers are all the rage right now, and Dolce Vita makes a great sneaker. There are several patterns to choose from on the same link, and you might remember that I already have a white leather pair with leopard and pink accents from the same maker.
This camo design is a sassy neutral. And the glitter backs adds some extra style, without being too sparkly or over the top.
They give a little bit of height with the platform sole, and they are padded for comfort. True to size for me.

I just love the cool vibe this outfit gives.
