Happy Summer, Everybody!!!! WooooooooooooooHooooooooooooooo! It’s the first week of summer in these parts and there’s so much fun to be had! We’ll be at the pool today with friends, and I’ll be eating the club salad that I’ve been missing all year long. Give me all the avocados and hard boiled eggs. #andbacon #andhoneymustarddressing
Today’s post is about some new items from Sole Society! I’ve been talking about Sole Society for a little over 2 years now, and I really love the brand. The only problem is, the items tend to sell out fast. As a blogger, that makes things difficult! (People still ask me about a cognac cross body from Sole Society that’s over a year old and was never re-stocked. Boo! It’s the one in my profile picture on the top right hand of the screen.) However…as a consumer, I love that they don’t continually re-stock items, because that means the items aren’t seen on everybody.
So when Sole Society reached out and asked if I would be interested in being a Brand Ambassador, I said “HECK, YES!” And I have y’all to thank for that…because let’s be real, companies wouldn’t have any idea who I was if it wasn’t for you ladies! Basically, enough of you mention the blog in product reviews and tag me in various places that some brands have started to take notice. So, THANK YOU! What does being a brand ambassador mean? Well, it means that I get to pick some items from their product catalog, and if I love them, I will share them with everybody! Well, last month I introduced you to THESE chambray wedges and THESE earrings. And I don’t just like them, I ADORE them both.
Today I’m going to share some other S.S. items with you: THIS clutch (you’re gonna die), and THESE sandals. When flipping through the Sole Society catalog, there was a certain picture that caught my eye, and I knew I wanted to recreate it!
Sole Society catalog outfit on the left, my interpretation on the right. Did I do good?!?
I mean. THIS CLUTCH!!! I loved it with this casual outfit, but it would also look great with a black dress and wedges. It’s a great size (bigger than any of my other clutches at 12×9) and the tribal print, beading, and tassel make it so unique and fun!
Here’s everything you need to know about what I’m wearing.
embroidered peasant blouse / similar distressed cut-offs ON SALE and similar non-distressed cut-offs ON SALE! / clutch c.o. Sole Soicety / sandals c.o Sole Society/ ornate tribal drop earrings c.o. Sole Society / $12 sunglasses from BP at Nordstrom
The sandals also come in a nude and a coral color. The navy is fully stocked at Nordstrom (almost sold out at Sole Society), and the coral is fully stocked at Sole Society (almost sold out at Nordstrom). The reviews on the sandals on the Sole Society site are fantastic. Some reviewers say they run a 1/2 size large, but I found them to be true to size. They are very comfy and can easily be dressed up (with a cute sundress) or down (as seen here with my cut-offs).
A big thanks to the Sole Society catalog people for the outfit inspiration! #solesocietytoldmeto
Here’s what you need to know about this top. I bought it for full price at Nordstrom like 3 weeks ago specifically to recreate the outfit from catalog. And then when I was working on this post at the end of last week, I went to grab the link for the blouse, and it was ON SALE! I was so excited for y’all! And then, it sold out. And I was totally bummed. BUT THEN I FOUND IT ON SUPER SALE AT MACY’S! #rollercoasterofemotions 😉
Click HERE for the blouse and use the code SUMMER for an additional 20% OFF the already on sale price! SCORE. You can see when looking at the arms that it is VERY sheer, so you must wear a white cami under it (find my favorite $12 cami HERE). But don’t worry, even though it’s long sleeved, you won’t be hot in it. It’s so light and airy! I think the embroidered detailing on it is just so pretty.
And everybody needs a pair of denim shorts. If you don’t like the two different cuffed short options I gave above, then click HERE for tons of options in different colors, lengths, and levels of distressing. I know many of you love the STS blue brand, and there are some great options HERE.
And for those that prefer the inside shots, here you go! #iaimtoplease I do think you get a better look at the detailing on the blouse!
I also know that some of you really like the flat lays (especially for your Pinterest boards), so here’s a flat lay for ya! If you want to pin it, just remember to hover above the picture and the little “pin it” button will pop up in the upper left hand corner of the pic!

And just for fun, here are some more white gauzy tops to choose from.
